I walked into the room, looked around at the three of them sitting at a dining table with the five women we had saved earlier. “Goodnight,” my tukas pulled the seat in the middle of Haruki and Izumi and occupied it.
I nodded my head, returning the greetings that the five women had made. We ate the food on the table without saying a word, only the glances of the girls' eyes seemed to be staring at my brothers. “This orange is so sweet. Try it, nii-chan,” I said turning towards Haruki with an orange that I had peeled in hand.
Haruki brought his face closer, biting the orange I pointed at him. “Give me too,” My head is pulled back as Izumi's palm touches my forehead then pulls it towards her.
I split open the orange in my hand, Izumi's face moved beside mine as I pointed the piece towards her. “Nii-chan, can you let go of this embrace of yours?” I whispered as my eyes fell glanced at the five women who were glued to us.
I was bowed by patting my neck as Izumi let go of her embrace. “Are you guys really this close?” One of them dared to ask.
“Our closeness, it often makes many people misunderstand. But, I am not interested in making this talkative woman my partner,” said Izumi who was struck by a small smile from Haruki.
“Who also, who wants to make a man who likes to find someone's fault to be a partner.”
“Sick!” my groan as Izumi's pinch on my cheek stopped the words I said.
I rubbed my cheek a few times as she let go of the pinch. I took a deep breath as I raised my head back to look at the five of them in turn, “I just wanted to say, don't have too much of a mind to get any of them. Trust me, it will be a waste of your time,” I said, the women are getting pecked when I say it.
“We, will stop in the middle of the journey. You, can continue your journey using this ship, this ship will take you to a place. There, there is a foundation that helps a lot of women to survive, there ... You will meet a lot of women, learn anything from them and achieve your own happiness.”
“This opportunity, will not come twice in life. So, make the most of it very well,” connect me by putting the rest of the orange in my hand on the plate.
_______________.
As long as I stood at the door, I took my breath as deep as I could before I knocked on the door, “nii-chan, you called me?” I knocked on the door further.
“Come in!” reply to Haruki's voice that sounded from outside.
I raised my hand to open the door. My steps continued to approach a chair and sat on it, “what is it, nii-chan? Is there anything important?” I looked at him who was reading some paper in his hand.
Haruki placed the sheet of paper he held onto the table that was in front of us, “are you sure? Didn't call Kou back then?” He asked back by looking at me.
Haruki leaned himself against the chair, one of his hands raised propped up his head that was slightly tilted to the right of it, “then, why did he suddenly appear like that? Does this have anything to do with you being married? I mean, Kou will get stronger once you grow up, right?” tukas Haruki still staring at me.
“Entailah, but .. I will speak to him, so as not to suddenly appear when I do not ask for it. I don't want, what he does, to actually hinder what we do.”
“You also understand what I mean. We don't have much time Sa-chan, so .. We have to get rid of anything that will hinder us,” Haruki continued while throwing his eyes to the side.
_____________.
I walked out of the ship while tightening the ties on the robe I was wearing. My steps continue to approach those who have sat on each of their horses, “kalian, very quickly prepare,” said I who had stood beside a horse and then rode it.
“You, it's hard to wake up,” timpal Izumi followed by the horse he was riding moving to the side.
I also moved my horse when the crew had lowered a board to be our way down. I turned towards the sea which was still a little dark because the sun had not revealed its shape. I fastened the reins until my horse followed them as my eyes turned back to Haruki and Aeneas who had first walked down from the ship.
My horse kept walking and kept walking down the still quiet road, only a few lampposts illuminating the path we were going through. The longer we walked, the brighter the road we passed .. Some of the doors and windows of the houses around began to open, only the lights along the road were still on, waiting for the oil that burned it to run out.
Our horse's pace continued, the more we walked forward, the more people were standing on their stalls on the right and left of the road. Unlike elsewhere, whose residents sometimes glanced sharply at us, here. In fact, because of the ripple of the situation around, the cold that had previously spread seemed to just disappear.
We also stopped the horse when Haruki who was leading the journey had also stopped his horse. He tied his horse to a wooden fence before he himself walked into the building. I gave my horse harness to Izumi who raised her palm, long I stared at him who tightly tied my horse's harness to the same fence before we both entered the building after Haruki and Eneas.
When we went inside, a young man gave Haruki the key after he gave the man a leather bag. “You guys, instantly want to look around, or want to rest first?” haruki asked as his footsteps stepped closer to the three of us.
“We have rested a few weeks on the ship, I just want to immediately look around and also taste what food is here.”
“Nii-chan is right, we haven't even tasted anything in Wattana yesterday,” I muttered softly to Izumi's words.
“Alright.” Haruki said as he turned his back on us, “we will just put a bag containing clothes in the room. Then we look for breakfast around here afterwards,” he continued while stepping his feet away.
