Fake Princess

Fake Princess
CCCLXXXIV Chapter

I touched the back of Cia who was walking in front of me, both of our legs stepping outside the house. My eyes turned towards Haruki, Izumi, and also Eneas who had been wearing the clothes we used to wear, I don't know, which makes me feel a little weird seeing them back in their usual clothes.

Haruki and Izumi turned their heads towards me, “quickly,” said Izumi as I and Cia walked down the stairs, “why so suddenly like this? I haven't even said goodbye to Irin and the others,” I said as the three of them walked.

“Haruki, do you know anything?” Izumi again asked the same thing, this time to Haruki, “I don't know. But for sure, if he asks to leave .. Then we should obey his orders,” Haruki replied without turning to Izumi.

“Actually, what's wrong with this village? From the beginning I really wanted to ask him, why are you so interested in this village?” Haruki stopped his footsteps, “do I have to answer him now?” Haruki continued before he resumed his walking footsteps.

Izumi stared at Haruki for a long time before she walked back in her footsteps. I turned my eyes around, I looked at the villagers who had gathered to look at us who were walking closer and closer to them.

“You have come, come here!” Sabra's grandmother sitting in the middle of them waved her hand towards us.

I sat on my knees before him when Haruki, Izumi and Eneas had done the same, “you have become a part of us,” said Sabra's grandmother stared at us as one by one we raised back the face looking at her.

“I, will always watch over you. Beware, my grandchildren,” said Sabra's grandmother back to us.

Keep watch? Always watching?

“Thank you, for all your help so far Grandma. We are honored to be a part of you,” Haruki nodded his head before he got back to his feet.

I thrust my body back to its feet, I stared at the people standing around us, “nii-chan, where is our horse?” I asked Haruki as he stood beside me, “don't use horses! Come back soon!” The voice of Sabra's grandmother rising sounded startling.

I turned to look at him, “use him. Come home soon! You will waste a lot of time if you use a horse,” Grandma Sabra spoke again with both her eyes staring intently at me.

Wh why? What exactly is going on?

My head was slightly bowed, trying to digest everything that was going on here, “Sa-chan,” Haruki's voice came back, long before I looked at him before I returned his gaze with a nod of my head.

“Kou, come! I need your help,” I said slowly with a little throw my head up.

The villagers suddenly moved backwards as Kou flew around them, even among them were sitting curled away from the crowd, “My Lord, he said,” said Kou when he had set his foot on the ground.

“Kou, take us all home,” said Haruki who has been standing next to me, “home? Sora?” I asked to turn my head towards him, Haruki nodded his head without turning towards me.

The flapping of Kou's wings took us through the sky, “Haruki! At least tell us what happened?!” Izumi made a loud noise from behind.

“What do you mean?!” Izumi raised her voice again, I thrust my head trying to turn towards them.

“Sabra's grandmother, she can predict what will happen in the future. If he asks us to go home, it means that something will happen to our Kingdom,” Haruki replied followed by the increasingly noisy sound of wind that sounded around.

“We stay a long time with them, it's not just stay. But Sabra's grandmother wants to build an emotional bond with all of us, because the stronger the bond will be .. Her prediction will be even more true,” Haruki said again sounded.

A prophecy? Is something going to happen between my two brothers?

“Nii-chan, are you sure?” I tried to shake off all the worries that filled my body, “Queen Alelah himself told me everything. Sabra's grandmother escaped from her Kingdom, because she had learned that her mother would still pay attention to her sister and not her,” Haruki's remark again reminded me of the story that Sabra's grandmother told her before.

“Kou, faster Kou. Take us home faster,” Haruki is back behind me.

"Kou, you heard what my brother said, didn't you? Take us faster Kou,” I said chiming in the words Haruki said earlier.

Kou moved his wings faster than before, I stared at the expanse of sea water that was below us, the sunlight that fell on the surface made the sea look shiny from a distance.

The flapping of Kou's wings grew stronger as black smoke soared high in front of us, “what happened? Fire?” Izumi's voice rang out from behind.

My head moved slightly to the edge, staring at some of the buildings that were in our Kingdom charred in flames. Wood debris mixed with stones filled the streets, “a-what happened here?” My voice sounded out.

I turned my head towards Haruki and also Izumi who had jumped off the top of Kou's body when Kou had again landed on the ground, my body trembled as I heard the sound of roaring cries almost in all directions, “nee-chan,” I was slightly jolted then turned towards Aeneas who had grabbed my hand.

“E-Eneas, help me lower Cia,” I said stare at her, “sure,” replied Aeneas directed her hand towards Cia who was sitting in front of me.

I moved down from the top of Kou's back when Cia was standing next to Aeneas, I thrust my palm up until the head covering from the robe I was wearing fell off. My legs were trembling, it felt heavy to step on, I glanced towards the footprints of my two brothers imprinted on the ashes that filled the road.

My two feet ran quickly to a woman who fell with a child in her cradle, “you guys, okay?” Speaking Japanese, I put my hands on her shoulders.

The middle-aged peasant raised his face towards me, “brown hair wavy, green eyes,” he said followed by his two slightly enlarged eyes looking at me, “Hi-Hime-sama,” he said again with a quivering voice heard.

“Daughter,” the crying woman followed her body sitting bent before me, “raise your head,” I said holding both shoulders of the woman earlier.

“What Princess is back to life? Or us..” Said the woman with a little stammering, “relax, I am still alive,” I said by lifting one hand to touch the chest.

“Explain to me, what really happened?” I asked slowly as I tightly grasped his left hand which trembled when I touched it before.
