Fake Princess

Fake Princess
CCCLXXII Chapter

The horse I was riding slowly followed the footsteps of Haruki's horse that was walking in front of us, the uphill road filled with pebbles and rocks that drowned in the ground made me have to be very careful riding my horse. “Nii-chan,” I said as I turned towards Izumi who was also riding her horse beside me.

“What's up?” Ask without looking at me, “what is nii-chan counting? I mean, how many days have we been on the trip?” I asked him back as my head returned I looked straight ahead.

“One Week maybe?” Izumi raised her head slightly upwards as I glanced back at her, “Ten days to be more precise,” continued Haruki who chimed in on Izumi's words.

“Ten days now? Have we almost reached the place that nii-chan said?” This time my question turned to Haruki, “did you see the grass hill that was there?” Haruki again made a sound by raising one of his hands pointing towards our right.

I turned my head in the direction he meant, “what's there?” Izumi's voice came into my ear. “A place, which I used to say before,” said Haruki again moved his horse to walk forward.

Come along I gave my horse to follow him with my head still staring away at the grass hill that Haruki had shown before. The horse we were riding was getting faster running towards the direction Haruki was pointing at, sometimes my horse turned sharply to the right avoiding the trees following Haruki who was riding in front of us.

I slightly glanced towards Cia who was sitting by bowing her head in front of me, “stop!” Haruki's voice surprised me, I immediately pulled the bridle that tied my horse until his front leg was slightly raised up before stepping back to the side.

I glanced back at Cia who was rubbing the neck of the horse we were riding, “good horse, good horse, good horse,” said Cia sounded slowly with one hand still rubbing the neck of the horse.

“Nii-chan, what happened?” I asked Haruki as my head lifted back to look at him. Haruki turned around for a moment looking at me before his head returned he moved forward, “in front there is a ravine, if it is too late just a little to stop. One of us must have died,” he said again moving his horse very slowly forward.

Izumi jumped down from the horse followed by Haruki who did the same thing, “Izumi come here, help me to lift this stone,” Haruki slightly raised his voice as his footsteps had stopped in front of one big stone that was there.

Izumi put her foot closer to Haruki, “what should I help you with?” He asked, as he had been standing beside Haruki.

Haruki moved both hands touching the big stone with his face still looking at Izumi, “help me push it forward. And be careful,” Haruki said again moving his face to face the big rock in front of them.

Haruki and Izumi moved their bodies pushing the boulder, and the muscles in Izumi's arm grew bigger as they pushed it back stronger than before. The sound they emitted when pushing the stone filled the air around.

“What is this trap?” I said involuntarily as both of my eyes were fixed on the huge hole produced by the rock pushed by the two of them earlier. “Where did you know this trap?” This time Izumi chimed in on my words.

“Entah, I was just trying to guess it,” said Haruki moving his body kneeling in front of the gaping hole that was in front of him, “try you guys notice around. You will definitely understand what I mean,” he said back without looking back.

“Note around?” This time Aeneas spoke followed by his head turning to the right and also to the left alternately. “Did you not see anything strange about the land we were on and also the land that is in front of us,” Haruki re-opened his voice before he went back to stand.

I moved my eyes to the ground as he commanded, “because the ground we were treading was a little brighter than the ground before us. Is that what you meant?” Izumi moved her foot to gently kick the ground that was nearby.

“If I think back, there is something wrong with the stones, Because if noticed, they are arranged by forming a box,” said Izumi by moving her index finger pointing at the stones alternately, “i'm right, aren't I? They are stupid enough to do cheap tricks like this,” Haruki again chimed in Izumi's words.

They're not stupid, you're too smart.

“Nii-chan,” Haruki and Izumi turned to look at me in turn, “didn't Haru nii-san just say the abyss?” Eneas reopened her voice.

“I said it just so you guys don't lower your vigilance.’

My head slightly moved to the side as I felt something pull my hair, “Sachi, something approached. Lots, lots of people are overwhelmed with anger,” whispered Lux quietly in my ear.

I immediately moved my hand to grab the bow on my back, and I also grabbed my arrows which were also arranged in a wooden tube that also hung on my back, “nii-chan,” I said glancing at them, Haruki and Izumi quickly pulled out each of their swords at the waist.

“Sachi!”

“Sa-chan!”

“Nee-chan!”

Izumi, Haruki, and Aeneas' cries alternately entered the ears, as an arrow suddenly stuck on the ground almost injured the foot of the horse I was riding. “Do not hide fucking!”

“Come! And show yourself!” Izumi again shouted followed by her head that turned around to look around.

Haruki's voice slowly sounded, I turned to look at him who was down with one hand holding an arrow that stuck in his arm, “ini poisoned arrow. Be careful,” Haruki said with a slightly restrained voice as his hand that grasped the sword moved to pluck the arrow in his hand.

I moved my head back around as the leaves on the trees around us swayed, “say Haruki! What is this place?” The voice Izumi let out made my eyes turn back to them.

“Actually, where are you taking us?” Izumi again made a sound followed by her footsteps that walked closer and closer to her horse.

“Sa-chan! Lift your headgear and talk to them!”

I turned my head back towards Haruki who walked over with his arm covered in blood, “aku?” I asked confused towards him who was immediately replied with a nod of the head that Haruki did.
