CCCXXXI Chapter
"Take me off!" Shouted the old man, his tail moving quickly hit Kou's arm which gripped his body.
"Sachi, please let go of my grandfather. I know he's wrong, but please let him go" Ebe swam closer.
"I've restrained myself Ebe. Your grandfather almost hurt all my friends and family. Do you think I'll forgive him?" I said returning his gaze.
"Let go Grandpa! You ungrateful humans!" The cry of a male voice suddenly rang out, I turned to glance towards Dekka who had been swimming beside Ebe.
"Ask that to your grandfather! I had intended to leave this place, but you attacked us." My words hit him back.
"If you all don't apologize for what you did. My dragon, will swallow him alive," I said again, raising my hands crossed to the chest staring at the mermaids who had lined up before us.
"You see? This is why Grandfather forbids us to connect with humans!" Shouted Dekka, he turned around by gripping Ebe's arm.
"But you attacked them" said Ebe, returning his cousin's gaze.
"Are you defending humans? Is it because you're a half-mermaid so you defend them desperately!" Snapping Dekka back, Ebe raised one of her hands trying to release Dekka's hand grip on her arm.
"Are you guys done?" I said, Dekka and Ebe turned to look at me.
"The longer you waste time, the more water will freeze" I pointed my thumb at the back of my body.
"Kou, how are you? Is your breath okay?" My whisper very carefully moves my lips.
"I'm fine, no need to worry, My Lord," replied Kou, I stared back at the mermaids with a smile on my face.
"Say, forgive us, Princess," I said back to the mermaids.
"Don't say! Don't say..." The old man's words came to a halt, changing with a cry of pain as Kou moved his hand again.
"Alright," I said with a sigh, as small bubbles came out of my mouth.
"Kou!"
"Grandfather!"
"Your Majesty!"
The hysterical cries of the mermaids rang out as Kou slowly froze the old man's tail. Screams of pain were heard from the old man's mouth...
"Sachi, please. Don't do this," said Ebe in a trembling voice, I turned back to look at the old man regardless of what he said.
"Call him, My Lord!" Kou's voice suddenly rang out, the old man's shriek was increasingly clear followed by a pleading cry from the other mermaids.
"My... My Lord."
"Eh?" Tukasku was confused as the words sounded from the old man's mouth.
"Good, now beg for mercy on him! How dare a lowly creature like you defy his orders!" My eyes widened slightly as the words of Kou gaped in my head.
"Ampuni, forgive me," the old man's cry was heard again, I looked up at his head a little, his tail that always swayed before, now only moves occasionally.

Kou released his hand grip on the old man's body, the man drooped down and sank without being able to move his tail. I looked at Ebe and Dekka who were swimming fast with both hands moving to the body of the old man who was almost sinking to the bottom.
"Kou, what's going on?" I moved my head to look at him.
"We are Dragons, we are the most powerful beings. We can make any creature our slave."
"When in the forest first, some creatures called out to the Dragon who was there as My Lord right? I only treat the same things as the Dragon Emperor did to them."
"I would destroy anything, if it were for you, My Lord," he said as he moved his head closer to my body.
"But how do you know that?"
"Dragon, can communicate with the spirits of their ancestors. We became great animals, not without reason" he said, I looked at his eyes that were originally bright red now back blackened.
"Go to my back My Lord, our business here is done. They, they won't bother you anymore. I'm right, aren't I?" Said Kou moving his head towards the old man back.
"I'm sorry, our carelessness. Forgive our nation" said the old man in a slightly quivering voice, this time not the Latin he spoke. Except for English, the ancient language of the world.
"Kou?"
"I made him a slave, so he... Will understand what I'm saying."
"Amazing. I'm lucky to have you, Kou," I said with one hand moving through his arm.
"I was lucky because you were the one who found me, My Lord," he said, I raised my hand rubbing his face as his head moved closer to me.
"Aahh, I almost forgot," I said, glancing at the mermaids who were still silent on us.
"I'm sorry, but I don't want this relationship to end. I want you to help me fight against the Empire. I want you to destroy their army later... If only, we fought them in the ocean," I said swimming near them, some mermaids swimming in a line trying to block me from approaching the old man.
"Is this an order?"

"And also, please help take care of Kuro, if he gets hurt... I, I won't forgive you."
"Betch, Ebe... Forgive me," I said looking at him, Ebe nodded slowly a few times at me.
I turned around, my legs swam back to Kou. My body moved closer to him with both hands embracing his neck. Kou raised his head up, his wings moved slowly cracking the ice sheet that surrounded us. Slowly, Kou invited my body to swim closer to the surface, the sunlight was warm again when my face returned to the outside from the water.
I glanced down as Kou got faster and faster and carried me flying into the air, looking as if something like flowers made of ice filled the surface of the sea. My head turned back to look towards Aydin's ship with some of them climbing up the ice sheet surrounding the ship.
"Are you guys okay?" As I asked as Kou took me flying around them, I stared at Zeki, Izumi and even Aydin sitting on the backs of some male mermaids fluttering on the ice sheet.
"Where's Eneas?" My words grabbed Haruki's arm that was pointing towards me as Kou landed beside him.
"I asked Yoona to look after them" Haruki said to help me get off Kou's back.
"Take off the mermaids, nii-chan, they have agreed to be our allies" I turned and walked away from Haruki, as my legs climbed onto the ice sheet.
"You what?" He asked who had walked in my footsteps.
"They, the mermaids, are officially our allies, nii-chan," I turned with a smiling look at him.
