My feet stepped down the hallway of the Palace, and I lifted up my hands, tying my hair with the ribbon of red cloth that Sasithorn had given him this afternoon. My footsteps stopped for a moment when I looked at Sanjiv who suddenly appeared from the right, Sanjiv stopped his footsteps and bent his body towards me.
"Hows it? Have you managed to find your sister?" I asked as I walked back through it.
"I managed to find him," he said, my footsteps halted and then turned to look at him, "really?" I asked him with a little enthusiasm.
"But he was found lifeless" he said back with a slight lift to his head. "I'm sorry" I said as he lowered his gaze again.
"There's no need to apologize Hime-sama. At least I had time to meet my sister again, thank you," he said back bowing his body towards me.
"No need to thank me, I just did all the tasks I was given," I said, my body turning back and stepping away.
"What about outside?" I opened my voice again followed by my eyes that were still staring a little blankly forward.
"I have commanded my army to stand guard over the fortress. If there are enemy forces attacking, they will immediately give word," said Sanjiv followed by footsteps following from behind.
"It's good that it's like that."
We walked together without making any sound other than the inevitable footsteps. My feet stepped into a room in the left corner of the Palace, and I stared at all those who had been sitting in their seats with dishes filling the table before them.
"You guys come together?" Tukas Izumi turned towards us, "we accidentally met in the hallway," I said, stepping closer to the chair beside him and pulling the chair before sitting on it.
"Sasithorn sir, thank you for taking care of him" I said, looking up at him, "I'm glad to be able to help you," he said followed by his hand touching the head of Cia who was sitting in the middle between him and Luana.
"It's already the third day since we took over the capital of the Tao Kingdom. Hows it? Is there something you want to report to me?" Haruki asked, her eyes glancing at us in turn.
"Our food supply is dwindling, if this continues ... We will suffer the same fate as those we starve" Arata said, taking a paper roll given by a man standing behind him, then give the scroll to Haruki.
"What's this?" Haruki asked as he opened the paper scroll that Arata had given him earlier. "There are foodstuffs stored in the warehouse, along with the calculation of when the depletion of foodstuffs," Arata said back to Haruki.
"I see, what about the others?" Haruki said he rolled the paper back and placed it next to his plate.
"I got a report from my men who were disguised as villagers at the border. They say that there are a lot of troops moving towards us" Gritav said.
"So they've started to move, faster than I thought," Haruki continued, she sat leaning back in her chair with her arms crossed over her chest.
"Is there anything you want to report again?"
"I've collected the weapons that the enemy has, we can use all these weapons to repel the coming attack" said Izumi, both of his hands put the cup he had in his grasp back on the table.
"We just have to defend the fort until reinforcements come," Haruki said back to his voice, I raised my head back to look at him, "reinforcements?" I turned around to ask him.
"Before we start the attack, I have asked for help just in case the plan we made fails," Haruki said, his body slightly moving forward followed by his right hand grabbing the cup nearby.
"So I thought they would be here for a few more days" Haruki said, moving the cup he held near his lips and drinking the water in it, "that's why," he continued, Haruki again put the cup he held earlier on the table.
"We just have to defend this fortress until the relief forces come," Haruki said, this time looking back at us one by one.
"Well, can we stop this conversation for a moment?" Izumi made a sound again, her eyes slightly glancing towards the left.
"I understand. Fill your energy first," said Haruki, he lifted a plate full of meat and placed the plate in front of Luana who was sitting next to him.
Luana grabbed the plate that Haruki gave her, then placed a few pieces of meat on top of the plate Cia was beside her. Luana picked up a little meat and placed it on her plate before handing the meat dish over to Sasithorn.
"Eneas, can you get me some rice?!" I looked at him, and I lifted my empty plate towards him. "Sure, do you want me to get some nee-chan vegetables?" Aeneas asked back which I replied with a slight nod of my head.
"It's just my feeling or every day, the portion of your food is increasing," Izumi whispered beside my ear, I thrust my head quickly turning towards him, "because I'm fighting on the front lines. So, my energy was completely drained more than usual. Thank you, you are very attentive to my life, Brother," I said trying to smile at him.
"You know Sachi," Izumi said back in half a whisper, "as Haruki and I walked back to the Palace, we accidentally passed through a building selling women's clothing," the one that stopped.
Wh why? Why do I feel if something bad is coming.
"Then, what does this have to do with me?" I replied with a slight whisper, "So, Haruki and I decided to bring one of the corsets that were there for you. We thought you might need it later" he whispered, holding back a bit of laughter.
"Eneas, please add the rice portion. Somehow, tonight I feel really hungry," I said to him in a slightly raised tone, "are you sure, nee-chan?" He asked a little staring at me.
"City ... Please add it up, without having to ask a lot of questions," I said as all the views around me led up to me.
"Sa-Sachi, do you also want meat?" Sasithorn asked in a soft voice, both of his hands moving up the plate filled with meat that was in front of him.
"You must keep your appearance as a woman" said Luana, one hand reaching for the plate in Sasithorn's hand.
"Even if Zeki says he will accept you for who you are. That doesn't mean you can be as free as you want" he said, looking back at me.
"Male, remain a man," Luana continued sounding softly, putting back the plate she held in front of her.
