Fake Princess

Fake Princess
CCCLIX Chapter

The wooden planks arranged by the enemy Knights formed a bridge over the trap hole we made. The gold-plated horse carriage carrying the man was walking slowly on the bridge that was made earlier.

The enemy troops that had stopped, moved again closer to the fortress. I turned my eyes towards the flag that became the emblem of the Taoist Kingdom fluttering around them.

Tens of thousands of troops walked by abandoning their large weapons. Several thousand horsemen walked slowly in front of the pedestrian troops, the sunlight falling on them looked dazzling as it touched the armor they were wearing.

"Adofo, order them to prepare the animals. And hold it, until I give the order!" My orders without turning towards him, Adofo raised his voice with a code that only our Knights understood.

I glanced towards the right, Haruki walking side by side with Gritav beside him. His right hand that grasped the spear with a large blade at the end made him look gallant. Prince type, which will make all women fall in love if he is in a comic or novel.

"Why? Is there something wrong with me?" Haruki's question shook her head slightly to the right and to the left as she stopped in front of me. "Nothing, nothing is wrong" I replied.

"Nii-chan, where are you guys from?" I asked him, "i just got the news and intend to check on the annoying rats," he said, looking straight at the enemy troops.

"Rice? What does it mean to be a traitor?" I asked back, "no, only a few of our Knights suddenly shrank when they saw more enemies than them" Haruki said back casually.

"Knight? But, our Knights are fine," I said, putting my head around trying to confirm his words.

"Not the Knights you lead, but the Knights under Sanjiv. Sanjiv and Eneas still could not raise their spirits, if this goes on ... South Fortress will," said Haruki stopped, I lift up my palm holding his left arm, "go nii-chan, I will guard this fort for you. Trust me, I'll be fine" I smiled as she raised her head to look at me.

"Are you sure?" The slightly worried-sounding question, "very sure. Me, it'll be fine. Isn't that Gritav?" It was me who turned my eyes towards Gritav.

"I will take very good care of him, sir" said Gritav.

"Alright," Haruki said with a slight sigh, he walked forward, grabbed my head and kissed her, "be careful, don't get hurt again, you understand?!" He whispered a little near me, I nodded back at his gaze.

"Gritav, and Adofo. Take good care of him!" Haruki's orders were answered with a nod of Gritav's head and Adofo alternately, Haruki turned his legs away.

I turned my gaze towards the approaching enemy troops, the flags they were carrying were fluttering as the wind blew on them. The shields they carried looked like walls protecting them.

"Thank you for your shields!" Gritav suddenly shouted as hundreds of enemy arrows moved towards us.

I cast my eyes on the enemy footmen who were running towards the fortress as Adofo lowered the shield he was holding, "are you okay?" I asked him when I looked at the two arrows stuck in his arm.

Adofo moved the sword he was holding to the other side of his hand, "it's just like an ant bite for me" he said, moving his palm from his arm.

"Wait a minute, throw the animals at them!" My orders were very strong, I slightly glanced towards the Knights who nodded at me.

I raised my head up, small jugs covered in black cloth flew past my head. The jug flew faster and closer to the enemy troops, some of them broke in the heads of the pedestrians, and some of them broke into the ground.

Some Knights from the enemy forces there fell down, some ran away in the fog, some, some fell forward and stopped moving as the snakes I hid in the jug crept out around them.

"You used our pet snakes very well, Hime-sama," said Adofo speaking behind my back, "the same thing I wanted to ask, why do you keep such poisonous snakes?" I asked back to him, I turned my eyes back to the enemy Knights who were busy swinging their swords towards the snakes.

"Drinking snake blood will add strength, that's what we believe" he said in reply. "I understand" I said briefly to him.

"Prepare the second pitcher, and throw it as I give the order!" My screams are back strong.

I still look at the enemy troops who are still struggling with the hundreds of snakes that we sent. Some of these snakes are flying upwards with their bodies cut in half, some of them even still bite strongly on the nose of one of the Knights even though the body and head have been separated.

I glanced back, my eyes stalled on the man sitting on the gold-plated horse carriage. Some of the Knights who were beside him seemed to be busy driving away the snakes that were trying to get closer towards them.

The man turned his eyes toward me, though far away ... I can still slightly see every movement on his face. The smiling man looked at me with one hand grasping the blackish scaly snake we threw towards their previous troops.

The serpent in his grasp, he moved near his mouth. Bite the snake's neck until the snake's head is cut off followed by a little splash of blood coming out.

The man raised his hand which was holding the body of the snake. The snake was still writhing until the blood coming out of his body splashed all over the man's face.

When the snake stopped moving completely, the man threw the body of the snake backwards. Next to his hand moved rubbed his lips until the blood spots around his lips were slightly enlarged.

The man smiled broadly at me, I slightly averted my gaze as Gritav's back was standing before me, "don't be ignited by the treatment he was doing, Hime-sama. Only, bring victory to us with all the plans you prepared in the first place" Gritav said without looking back at me.
