CCCXCII Chapter
“What everything has been checked?” I slightly looked back as Haruki's voice rang out, “I've checked everything nii-chan, I even checked it twice so that no items are left behind,” my words again put the folds of fabric that was previously used as a tent into the bag.
“Good,” he said walking past me, “I will check our horses,” he continued to step closer to our horses tied in some trees that were there.
“We have returned,” Izumi's voice is heard followed by the sound of footsteps in tandem with the sound of a broken twig heard from behind, “you have got the water?” I asked the three of them who were moving closer to me.
“We found a water source around there,” said Lux who was flying from above Izumi's shoulder, ‘are you okay Lux?” I asked him when he flew in front of me.
“I'm fine,” he replied, he flew then alighted over my head, “do you miss Uki?” I told him followed by my two hands that moved to tie the rope to close the bag.
“I took care of him from childhood, so indeed I miss him a little. But, Kou was right .. He wouldn't have grown perfect if he had been in the human world for too long,” he said that sounded from the top of my head.
“I felt the same way when Kou decided to stay in his world,” my head went back a little upwards as I felt those slow knocks touching my head, “what is Lux?” I asked back to lower my head staring at the bag I had tied up.
“I'll bring the bag,” I turned to the side when I felt something touch my shoulder, “have you checked everything?” Izumi looked at me as I stood beside her, I replied with a soft nod of my head.
Izumi bowed her body grabbing the large bag that was in front of us, she stood up again with the bag running towards her horse. I, who had previously walked behind him, turned around to approach Haruki who had raised the bridle of my horse in his hand.
I move up my horse, I reach for the reins of my horse lying on his palm, “thank you nii-chan,” I said slowly as I clasped the rope tightly with both hands.
Haruki moved his legs closer to his horse, untied the bridle that was coiled in one of the trees and climbed the horse, “are you ready?” He spoke again as the horse he was riding stopped in front of us.
“Haruki,” Haruki turned back, staring at me, “what's Lux?” Asked as he slightly raised his face upwards, “are you sure you want to head there? I mean, can't we find another way?”
“What's the reason?” This time Izumi opened her voice, “Sachi, did Kou not say anything?” Lux asked back as she had flown in front of me.
“Nii-chan, something dangerous is ahead there. Kou also said the same thing as Lux said before,” my words chimed in Lux's words, I looked at Haruki who was still silent to both of us.
“Then why? The emperor even had countless dangerous creatures under his control. Why can't we do the same?” I fell silent, my body shuddered as Haruki looked at us with a gaze I had never seen before.
“Haru..”.
“Izu nii-chan,” my words cut through Izumi's words, she momentarily stared at me before throwing her gaze away from me.

The horses we rode walked through the forest, I occasionally raised my head to stare at the shadow of Kou who sometimes appeared and disappeared back into the clouds. My eyes turned back to Haruki who was still riding his horse in front of us, a word had not come out of his lips since the previous conversation.
“This aura,” Lux voice sounds vibrating in my ear, “do you feel anything Lux?” I whispered back to him who was hiding behind my hair.
“I feel it, stronger than ever. Could this have something to do with Kou flying over?” He again muttered softly, “what creature did you say that thought Kou was such a threat to him?” My whisper came back to him.
“Of course, Kou's magic is very strong, even a creature as small as me can feel it. Did Kou deliberately lure him?”
“Do you think he'll show up? Or should I ask Kou to hide his magic?”
“You want to ask Kou to conquer it? Like he did to those fish?”
“You see for yourself not my brother's reaction just now? Do you think he would be satisfied if we just passed through the place without meeting or killing something dangerous that we mentioned earlier?”
“You are right,” he said slowly whispering to me.
“Kou, do you hear me?” I asked quietly without taking my eyes off Haruki, “do you need anything, My Lord?” The answer that stirs in my head.
“Can you hold back your magic a little? I want us to capture the creature that you mean alive,” I raised my head to stare at the black shadow of Kou flying above us, “according to your orders, My Lord, I will,” he said followed by a black shadow of his body that slowly disappeared behind the clouds.
I looked back at my eyes looking straight ahead, the wind blowing sometimes sneaking into the robe I was wearing. I glanced back at Izumi and Eneas who were both clenching their lips during the trip. I looked back at Izumi who occasionally moved her head staring to the right and also left alternately.
My eyes grew as the trees around me were replaced with rock cliffs standing firmly in front of us. I slightly glanced at Haruki who had moved his horse a little turn to the left side, join me gerakkan my horse stepped following him, “is this the place you mean nii-chan?” I made a soft voice as both of my eyes glanced towards the precipitous ravine that was beside us.

“Kou and Lux said, if there is something very dangerous there is not? If something dangerous is on our side, do you think .. How much profit will we get later?” Haruki continued with a slight glance behind us.
