Fake Princess

Fake Princess
CCCLXIII Chapter

I moved my legs crawling out from inside the tent, the boisterous sound from outside made me who was previously asleep a little distracted. I give my body to stand up, “what happened?” I asked one of the Knights who passed by.

“There is nothing to worry about Hime-Sama,” The knight answered my question as he got back to his feet after bending over at me earlier. “Really?” I asked back to make sure.

“That's right,” said The knight is back, “Hime-Sama, if there is no... Can?” The knight spoke again with some hesitation, I replied with a nod of my head.

I stepped back as the Knight stepped away. My footsteps stopped when Gritav was standing with both hands holding my bow, “Gritav,” I said to him as I stared at him who was still focused on pulling the rope attached to my arrow earlier.

“What are you doing?” I asked when I was standing next to him, “I was just making sure the rope on your bow is Hime-Sama. If there is something wrong with the bow, I will fix it immediately,” he said, Gritav again turned his eyes towards the bow of my arrow.

“How about the situation in the fortress?” I asked again, and I gave both my legs a step closer to the wooden tube full of arrows leaning beside the foot of the wooden table. “Everything is safe under control. Your bow, Hime-Sama,” said Gritav, directing the bow towards me.

“Thank you,” I got to Gritav, I grabbed the bow of the arrow when the tube full of the arrow was hanging on my back.

My footsteps again moved away from the place, I slightly tried to glance back, towards Gritav who had also stepped his legs behind me. I stared around, everything was silent .. Even some of them, some were whispering to each other. My footsteps moved faster up the stairs, just as they did downstairs. Some of the Knights stared at the enemy troops with their mouths slightly heard whispering.

“What are you guys looking at?”

I asked the four Knights who were busy looking at the enemy troops, “Hime-Sama,” said the Knights alternately followed by those who bowed their bodies towards me, “what are you discussing from earlier?” I asked them again.

“We just feel strange to the enemy troops, their number today is reduced a lot from yesterday and also .. They did not fight at all,” said one of the Knights to me.

“Is that?” I muttered as I gave my body turned to look at the enemy troops.

Both my feet stepped forward, my eyes still facing the enemy troops, as both my hands moved firmly grasping my bow. “Gritav, order the troops to remain in their respective positions. Tell them not to let your guard down, because we do not know what plans the enemy troops will do,” I said without moving my head to look at him.

“According to your command, Hime-Sama,” Gritav's voice sounded behind me followed by the sound of footsteps walking away.

I stood by gripping my other arm, my two eyes moving glancing to the left side as the Knights who were walking occupied their respective positions made a slightly ear-shrinking sound. Giving my head a little look up, the sunlight that began to rise made the originally darkened sky gradually brighten.

“It seems, I think they used the same tactics as what they did yesterday to us. They wanted to search, which fortress could be penetrated .. Is the East? The west? The south? Or are we in the North.”

“However, letting our troops off guard is also not good for us. I don't know, what ruse they're going to use. Hopefully, our troops who guard other fortresses can dispel them all,” my connection back to direct the view towards the enemy troops.

“You are right, Hime-Sama,” the voice of Gritav standing behind accompanies me.

The sun increasingly hides its figure towards the West, leaving behind orange biases that fill the sky. The afternoon wind that blew slapped my face slightly followed by the trumpet sign of the day ending. The enemy troops were still silent, they did not move from their place, “Hime-Sama,” the voice of the male again sounded in the ears.

I turned to look at Gritav and also Adofo who had been standing before me alternately, “I understand,” I told them as I walked away.

My feet walked down the stairs, giving me the sight of my eyes that had been bowed before to our troops who were bowing their bodies towards me. I nodded once towards them before continuing my approach to my tent. My left hand moved to reveal the curtain cloth that covered the tent, put a bow along with a wooden tube containing arrows near the curtain before I crawled into the tent.

I give my body to lie down, wrapped in a cloth with another fold of cloth, which I use as a pillow. Both my eyes stared blankly at the red cloth on which my roof stood, I sighed deeply as my hands moved to hold the necklace of Zeki's hand which was on my neck.

“Hime-Sama, Hime-Sama,” the voice that calls it knocks on my ears, give both my eyes open slowly, “what is it?” I asked in a voice that sounded raucous.

“I bring food and water for you,” said Gritav's voice behind the curtain, “letakan just in front, I will take it,” said I bowed with both hands rubbing eyes. “Alright, I will put it here,” he said again, I looked at the shadow of his body that bent before standing up and then stepped away.

I moved my body crawling, approaching the curtain door. I gave my right hand to reveal the curtain that covered my tent before moving my body back to crawl. My movements stopped, I sat in front of my tent with both hands grabbing a bowl of soup that was still smoking thin smoke.

“Sup again?” I muttered followed by my right hand grabbing the spoon inside.

I gave the spoon a spin until the soup formed a small vortex, which, I raised the little soup with the spoon I held as I exhaled a little of my breath on it until the white smoke billowing over it swayed a little. Put the spoon close to my lips until the soup inside falls all over, flowing in my mouth.

I lifted my head to look at our troops who were chatting with each other in front of the bonfire, the laughter they let out filled the cold, piercing night air. My eyes turned back to the bowl of soup on my thighs, “I want to have dinner with my brother again,” I said again lifting the spoon filled with soup and sipping it slowly.
