CCCXCIII Chapter
The horse we were riding walked slowly down the path, heading straight to the bottom of the abyss, my right arm raised involuntarily closing my nose as the horse I was riding stopped its footsteps. A foul smell burst through the air as we reached the bottom of the ravine, stinging my nose, making my head reluctant to think straight.
“What is this place?” Whisper Lux next to my ear, I was a little nauseous when Lux sounded like she wanted to vomit touching my ear, “are you okay?” I whispered back to him, the stronger my arm was in my nose.
“A rotten, disgusting,” Lux whispered back followed by an unrelenting nauseous voice tapping my ears, “Haruki!” My eyes turned to Izumi who also raised one hand to cover her nose while the other hand on her horse moved closer to Haruki.
Haruki turned to her, “what is it?” Ask back to look forward, “you sure we will..” Izumi's words stopped, her head moving to the side with a lot of saliva followed by one hand flailing her chest as she looked like she wanted to spit something out from the top of her horse.
Haruki turned his head back towards him, raising one of his hands patting Izumi's back, “are you okay?” Haruki asked back while still banging on Izumi's slightly bowed back.
Izumi raised her head up, “fucking! If I knew the place would be this rotten, I wouldn't have eaten much this morning,” he said again raising one hand over his nose.
“How about you guys? Are you guys okay?” Haruki turned to look at me and also Eneas alternately, “I'm fine,” said Eneas with a palm covering his nose, he turned his head towards the left, avoiding the sight of all of us who were staring at him.
“How about you guys, Sa-chan, Lux?” This time Haruki turned his gaze towards us, “I'm fine, Lux was just as good,” I smiled with lips clenched towards her.
Haruki sighed, “sorry, I forced you guys to do this .. We can go back to the top,”.
“What you say is true, we will not win if we start a war with the Emperor if we only rely on human troops. I don't know, what creatures live here .. But, the report I received from some Knights .. My horse walked slowly, following the direction the rope took me, “are you all right?” Haruki's voice is heard from behind, “they are all fine,” said Izumi as her shining eyes turned back.
“Izumi, be careful,” Haruki's connection back heard, “worry to yourself. Both of my eyes can still see very clearly no matter how dark this place is,” said Izumi heard chiming in Haruki's words.
“For that reason, we count on you, My sister.”
“I like getting a blessing, hearing those words from you,” Izumi again opened her voice followed by a small laugh from behind.
“Lux, are you okay?”
“Be quiet,” Lux's voice sounded slightly raised as Izumi said it with a slight laugh, “what happened Lux?” I asked her how she was.
“She hit the tree,” Izumi again sounded holding back laughter answering my question, “hush Izumi, this is because I can't see anything like you.”
“You just have to sit on the pund..” Izumi stopped her voice as a strong sounding roar broke the silence around.
