THE BATTLEFIELD OF LOVE

THE BATTLEFIELD OF LOVE
Part 94's. Blueberry Fields

I saw James approaching the moving bush. Our scenery was blocked by lush scrubland, which we feared was an infected wave, although that was very unlikely.

James was moving towards me, while Tommy was advancing steadily into a heap that was probably about 30 meters in front of us. He's carrying some kind of long spear, it's an effective weapon if you don't want to come into contact too closely.

"What is infected?" I whispered to James who was beside me.

"Perhaps, sometimes someone escapes the sweep I heard, but they've been too slow to move. Tommy could handle it easily."

We were waiting for Tommy, and he almost reached the hoard. Before long, a distinctive sound similar to the growl that indicates we are indeed facing infected.

Within seconds, the growl stopped.

"Tommy killed them?"

"Yes it seems so."

Tommy emerges from the tree later. He clasped his fingers together to form a number two, and the neck mark on the verse, he had already killed them.

"Only infected escaped suction. Two guys, it's slow." Tommy is back with us.

"Thanks Tommy."

"That's my job. We are different fields as you say. You save the sick, I finish infected." Tommy gave me his smile.

"You want blueberries?" That's how I thank you.

"Jen, you're making people sick now." James warned. Ohhh yes I have to wash this well.

"I'm sorry.sorry I completely forgot. Good thing I didn't eat it." Tommy laughs.

We go upstairs. It takes about 1 hour less we get to the top. We were escorted by Thomas to visit the community with our health worker badge.

"Thank you guys for taking your time out here between your days off Doc." Community leaders welcomed us. "You must be tired, how about you eat first, or bathe in the spring, we will prepare something, there are some that are not good, but they choose to rest themselves."

"Well, then we'll start at 1? We went to the lake for a while, actually we brought supplies."

We spent the day on sightseeing to the lake and the springs. And returned to the settlement to check on those who were sick. And it's our luck that at the last moment we had to deal with a lot of patients coming in. The patient is still the patient, at 4:15 we finished with the last one.

Tommy warned us not to pass the time. He's been loosening up an hour and a half for us.

"Sunset at 18.20 today, this is very risky we only have 2 hours. How about we come back tomorrow."

"Now, the downhill road should be easier. Tomorrow we're on duty from 7, we've left the post today. Come on, it's okay we shouldn't find any hindrance except just infected out of energy like that." James didn't want us to spend the night here. We ended up going down with maybe not enough time.

"No stop resting. We have to reach the city before dark."

"All right."

We set off, two guides gave us a cutting path for us, probably going to save us about 20 minutes of travel.

I pray now we will have enough time.

"Let's be careful Miss Jen." Tommy kept us going because we were hunting for time if the sky

Shortly after the two guides took us off, for some reason in the middle of the road we started to feel the sun dipping. It's weird we should still have at least one more hour until it's this dark.
