Artur Jovovich paid a fair price to keep my mouth shut. Some of the investors he brought me managed to attract the long-term prospects of my company.
I was thinking what if the nephew knew who brought those investors.
"One more request, don't mention this to Sergie. My business remains my business." It turned out that he asked me not to divulge this information, it was a pity that if he did not ask for it I could happily tell this ironic thing.
"So, well, of course I won't tell him."
"And don't go to any show with Kotyakov anymore."
"Yes well, of course."
Even though the money hasn't come in yet, I've received details of the amount they're going to invest, the amount I think could make me surpass the valuation in Western Europe. It's a very pleasant surprise.
Early this morning I was happy to go to the office. My mood is at its peak.
"Moon, are you okay? You're not going to work?" Today he looks sleepy, last night he rested well, I didn't make him work too hard last night.
"I feel sick." He sat down in a doldrums.
"You sick? Why... Do you want to see a doctor?"
"No, I just want to sleep, maybe just tired."
"Fatigue? You sure, last night was just one time." He looked at me with a look of wanting to stab me with the fork he was holding.
"Mes*t."
"Then you don't have to work today rest. No fever?"
"That's it, I don't think, just uncomfortable. It's okay, maybe with a day of rest will also be fine again. Go, you have to go to the office, don't you."
"I'll go to the office first."
"Bye."
"You sure you don't need to see a doctor?"
"No I just need to sleep, I'm still exhausted I guess."
"If it gets worse you should go to the doctor."
I left her earlier that week, chances are I'll be back home in a few days. Just the weekend I was in his apartment.
But since she said she still felt bad, I came back the day after night and brought her favorite food.
"You're here?"
"You're sick, so I want to see you. You been good?"
"Hmm I don't know, I'm still limp." He sat down and opened the package of food I was carrying. A moment later, he closed it back.
"Why is something wrong?" I wonder, it's her favorite food, why she got rid of it.
"Hmm.don't like the smell. I'll just eat salad." He put away his food.
"You don't like the smell? Is that your favorite food?"
"I'm lazy to eat."
"Lazy eating?"
"You've had stomach problems lately."
"No, I don't know why. Don't think about it. It's healing tomorrow."
But days later he was still in the same condition.
"Moon, let's go to the doctor." I'm using him now because I'm worried.
"I think too much...."
"What are you thinking?"
"Such a symptom..." He had a guess what he was sick of?
"What-like?"
"As Eliza said..." Eliza? Eliza's sick what? She just gave birth. Something just happened now.
"You didn't say...." I grabbed his arm. "You mean you're probably pregnant."
"I don't know, maybe it happened, right? I've never been like this. Eliza once told me she had symptoms like this." He looked at me with an anxious face, different from my explosive anticipation of joy his face was worried.
"If so, we will get married. Of course we're getting married." I was very hopeful, and excited. I have no doubt about that. What I did to delay was give us a chance to prepare.
"If it's true you haven't even solved your problem." Apparently this was his concern, he was afraid that I would not have time to pay attention to him. Some of the time I do have a high intensity of busyness, so sometimes he protests. But now I don't have such worries anymore.
"Moscow is no longer important. I've definitely finished it. If this is true, I'll take care of you. You don't have to worry about anything." He started to smile.
