THE BATTLEFIELD OF LOVE
Part 79's. Little Rock 5's
"Far away!" Aaron who was instantly on the move hit one of them from the tub of the truck. The driver who heard the commotion ran with his own bat.
"I spontaneously screamed out of shock earlier forgive me." The three drivers who stayed in the truck helped gang up the two infected until they did not move again. While the troops might have already moved several hundred meters ahead of us.
"We should be on guard, if anyone comes again but one stays to keep an eye on the radio. Miss, you're watching the radio okay, we're guarding the four directions. Otherwise we won't see any danger coming." Someone gave a suggestion.
"I agree." The other driver agreed.
"Sir can you help keep watch?"
"Of course, I'm good." Aaron doesn't seem to be in a fever right now. He can beat the guy even if he's positive for the parasite.
"Alright, we share a surveillance area okay." I was taught to listen to the radio and reply if necessary.
Conversations of orders from the unit leader where they should lead sounded in front of me. My eyes glanced at the left and right rearviews, unwilling to get any more surprises I didn't want.
Time seems to be slow. At the end of my rearview one of the soldiers hit the head of the infected who was limping towards him. Infected it collapsed no longer because his brain was crushed.
Infected who have not been getting food intake for a long time is easy to deal with, provided you rarely get infections because it comes into contact with body fluids directly. Either blood or other disgusting fluids. But it will not be infected if only exposed to the skin.
Apparently someone was hooked by the commotion just now. There will be others.
The next second the others also looked alert one of the soldiers gave a 3 mark after peeking at a turn. But with their hands clasped, they had to wait. I also waited with my breath.
Two other soldiers joined the first. Aaron was ordered to guard the other side.
"300 meters north, we can't get through there, it's infected bags." The radio sounded with frightening news. Which means we have to find another way.
"Switch to the south side, see if we can get through."
While the other three soldiers were already preparing on the hidden side to finish off the upcoming infected. And the next second the three people were already busy beating up the three infected.
And they will be even more busy. On the other side two infected came running towards them, Aaron prepared for one person who had finished coming to his aid now. The brutal fight was completed within ten seconds.
"We're here well, I'm nurse Jen, the others are guarding the parameters, but there's 6 infected coming at us. But all can be solved, Capt."
"Tell us if you need any help."
"Understanding Capt."
Things are calm again now. No movement for a while. Before I saw perhaps tens, I guess the thirties in front of us from a distance walked without direction emerging from the left direction of the turn. We obviously can't deal with these four.
A driver moved in and got into the car almost without a sound.
"Report Capt, in front of us there are probably about 30 infected running slowly. We have to leave the place and hide until they pass first."
"understand. We have not decided on a route. Hide first. Turn off the radio in the car and switch to mobile so as not to attract attention."
"understand. Out."
"Our lady's out hiding." He turned off the radio and we slowly came out, he gave his friend a sign to turn off the radio and hide."
"We're going to the building?" Friends agree. Aaron and I followed them. We were on a street with a lot of shops left behind. There was a corner that was once probably a small garden that was now turned into a lush, unkempt garden, the vines allowed us to hide ourselves.
"We wait for them to pass?" I asked one of the soldiers.
"Yes, it's in vain that we make a fuss. The route has not been decided yet, it is better not to spend ammunition before reaching the outskirts of Little Rock."
We ducked silently, peering while holding the breath of those passing by beside us with their slow steps. Sure enough they kept on going without looking at us.
Almost done we stepped up, before we heard shots fired in the distance. Shit I'm surprised, did any of our members start shooting. Do they dare to shoot? Not that it even invites danger. A few moments later, a series of shots were heard again.
"Who is that?"
