THE BATTLEFIELD OF LOVE

THE BATTLEFIELD OF LOVE
Part 60's. Kylie

We walked into a room that seemed to be part of the office. I just brought Anthony, to avoid provocation. My team is ready up front if there is any emergency they will easily barge in.

Some people were seen there ranging from security, some people who seemed to be cashiers to finance. The operation of this place has already begun, and Snake I think is the manager of this place, Billy, I don't know I think it's just his nickname. This bastard never even saw him.

"Hey Roland, why are you here?" A burly man greeted him. His eyes swept over us.

"I brought a friend to the boss, is he here now."

"There's room. Friends for the boss?"

"Yes." Yeah." I slightly smiled at the person who saw me with that probing look.

That guy seems unsuspecting. He moved open the door to the room he was referring to.

"Boss, there's Roland. Said he brought a friend for you?"

"Ohh friend? Coming in?" Isn't this strange enough he didn't suspect at all why Roland was on duty bringing a friend. Unless, he already reckons I'm coming.

We walked into the room, a man with a solid body, probably almost 50 years old wearing a black body-fitting t-shirt, and yes with a circular snake tattoo on his arm, that's why he was called Snake.

"Roland you brought a guest for me, surprise, you're okay, not beaten up?" I guess he was waiting for me himself. "Good night Mr. Gillian, sorry you had to come here. You're so generous not to beat Roland up. Let's sit down. What do you want to drink?"

Anthony and I looked at the incredible welcome.

"You seem to be waiting for us." I sat in front of him.

"I'm grateful for your patience. Roland, you can come out, Tom, tell the boss he's waiting for has come."

"Boss, that Billy?"

"Ahh yes, some people know the name of the big boss is Billy, but only a few know his true identity. You know him of course." Know him? Well, let's see who he is.

"So, is this Billy telling people to look for me."

"Ohh no, it's my client, later the boss will tell you his name. I can't refuse his request, but I'm sure you can handle it. I'm staying to report that my man was beaten up by your man."

"The client asking you to know who your boss is?"

"No, he doesn't know."

"Interesting."

"What do you want to drink?"

Now I just have to wait for who this mysterious boss is. And before long the door opened, the surprise I found was not a man but a woman.

"General, it's good to see you." The wavy brown haired woman smiled broadly at me.

"Kylie?" This Billy is this girl. "You're Billy?" She laughs.

"Ohh yes that's my nickname. Sometimes there's a male assistant who goes undercover as an owner. Snake calls him Billy, only he and his assistants and the club's managers know who I really am. The publication of being a security club owner who could hire a bouncer was not good for the family, so I hid it."

"God? How can you have a great business like this?" He laughed crisply.

"I can fight a little bit, although it may not be as good as you, I dare to complain about the accuracy of the shooting with you General."

"Amazing. I can't believe a woman from high school has a business like this."

"The ones running it are actually Snake, I'm just depositing capital, and the others they're running, probably providing legal facelitas at once. Obviously this illegal business is nothing to be proud of but definitely quite useful."

"Alright, I want to know now who wants to prank me."

"Of course I have a guess. I just want to make sure."

"Snake, you can tell me who told you to."

"Mr Adrian Russell came to me a few days ago. I know who you are, so I knew this was gonna end up getting me beat up. I reported to Miss at last, she said to send someone a little coward. We reckon you'll be here eventually."

"You've heard it yourself now." He looked at Snake. "Snake, I want to talk to Mr. Gillian."

"Understand Boss." His subordinate came out and left us talking together.

"Well, what are you gonna do now that you know who's working on you?"

"What am I going to do..." It made me think. "You know why she pranks me, it actually has something to do with you." Kylie grimaces.

"Why? You made her jealous for accepting my invitation."

"Fright."

"I was intentionally. Because seeing you have a problem with him. Rarely would anyone dare to have a problem with him." He's laughing now.

"Alright so you set a trap for me." The beautiful girl looked at me while crossing her legs and smiled at me.

"What's your problem with him. I don't mind inviting you anyway, but I mind if I have to go with him."

"It doesn't fit that."

"It doesn't fit exactly." He was still curious and chasing me.

"I don't like the way people judge. Don't talk about it I guess. Let's just say we don't fit in, until whenever I don't want to be on his friend's list."

"It seems serious."

"Yes to me he offends me on matters of principle."

"You're gonna pay it back?"

"I haven't determined how."

He nodded in understanding. Then I looked at me seriously.

"Actually I'd like to ask you a favor?" Now it turns out this girl has an agenda too.

"What kind of help do you mean."

"Actually Russell is indeed one of the strong shareholders in our company, later my brother who still holds the position of CEO, conflicting opinions about the direction of the company with some executives influenced by the Adrian family."

"Hmm. then."

"To settle Russell's family differences with the terms of marriage, I didn't like the idea at all. My family and I are trying to find shareholder support at a shareholder meeting. But we realize it's hard enough." He stopped for a second. "If you can help us, I mean Gillian's family can come in as one of our shareholders and help us."

"I understand what you want. But you must have something to offer." The girl was silent for a moment, her face was stinging.

"You mean you want terms like Russell?" It was my turn to offend.

"Terms like Russell? You mean how?"
