THE BATTLEFIELD OF LOVE

THE BATTLEFIELD OF LOVE
Part 70's. Disagreements 1

Eliza POV.

"Andrew received a bullet for you?! How is he doing?!" Big brother seemed to have instantly risen from his chair as soon as I told the news for him this morning.

"He's fine. It's been through critical condition, luckily the bullet turned into his arm, so he's not in a dangerous condition."

"Uncle David knows?"

"So late in the afternoon she and Auntie got here, but they can't be long because tomorrow there's an event you can't leave."

"You have to accompany him back to Montreal, the factory business, hand him over to the man I'm going to send in two days, I've chosen the branch chief there. Make sure you don't leave him in the hospital by himself. Uncle David has helped us a lot."

"Yes, I know."

"Said Laura you were proposed to by Andrew?" I kept quiet, but Albert knew what was going on.

"I told her I had a boyfriend." And maybe it's time to tell Albert that Gilbert Gillian and I are serious about our relationship.

"You mean General Gillian, don't you just have fun with her, you yourself know she can't possibly move to Canada. All this time I thought you guys were just having fun?"

I'm shrinking, so what Albert thinks I can't possibly move to DC? He would oppose the idea completely.

"Maybe I could move to DC after our business there is big, ...." I waited for Albert's reaction with concern.

"Move to DC? You're the face of our family in politics and government after Dad's gone, you want to leave me unassisted? We have a lot of access to government business, tendering the project because of you and Dad. You want to leave me without help here?" That question also meant he clearly disagreed for now.

"What difference does it make if it's not now?" He responds stiffly. I was silent, Albert was silent, the phone became an uncomfortable moment later. "You want to leave me without help here? Try to consider again. Wouldn't you rather you accept Andrew, obviously he we've known for a long time and he's even his family's done a lot for you." Albert would have agreed I was with Andrew.

I can't answer Andrew.

"Here you go, you don't have to think too far first. Just make sure you don't leave Andrew in the hospital alone. I'll call him early tomorrow."

Albert ended the call quickly. And my mind became even more tangled after talking to him.

"I brought pasta for you. The doctor said you could eat this." And I came in the morning before I went to the office to check on Andrew.

"Thank you." He didn't throw me home like last night. This morning he looked better. At least he didn't throw me out at the door because he was considered to pity him. "You're going to work, aren't you here for long? Is the police business done?" Only I thought he wouldn't kick me out, but a second later he threw me away.

"I've given a statement to the police, but today I have to go to sign the document. Brother sent a lawyer to help me solve everything. I think it's coming today."

"If you don't have someone with you, I'll ask my acquaintance's lawyer to help you." As usual, he thought of everything.

"No, my brother arranged it. He asked how you were doing, did he call you?"

"It."
