THE BATTLEFIELD OF LOVE

THE BATTLEFIELD OF LOVE
Part 88's. Little Rock 5's

"Yes, we should be given guidance once we enter the city. That was almost us in a thousand infected."

"Have you ever faced that much?" I asked the soldier.

"Of course, but we've been stalking and escorting them to one place usually, not those who surround us from all directions like that. Risk is almost minimal. It was terrible what if we ran out of ammo." Everyone shut up now.

Our journey was in silence then. There are some tree barriers down, the road is sometimes muddy so some people have to prepare a footing for truck tires to make it easier to go, but everyone tries to do it without much noise.

We finally returned to the asphalt road again. Still quiet, except for a few cars we met in the middle and the roadside. Sometimes they just leave it.

This time there was a car behind us. Walking, his passengers waved to us. Signs they want to talk. Two men in their 30s approached our vehicle.

"Our officer's got a sick man, do you have any supplies of fever medicine?" I heard he was talking to the man I knew was the vice-captain after the vehicle stopped. I went downstairs because I was medical.

"Fever? Because what, I'm a nurse?" I was suspicious of a fever.

"She only got the Miss flu, not infected symptoms I can assure you. But we ran out of medicine. I'm looking for supplies at the abandoned dispensary, but they're not there at all."

"There's a new safe town about an hour's drive from here, Hot Spring. We'll go to Little Rock first after that it'll be through here again. You guys wanna come? There are hospitals, adequate food supplies, security, electricity, but you have to follow military orders, the city has to produce its own food. All the people of the city had to work to produce food. How many you

"I think tomorrow morning might be around 9-10 . You have to wait here if you want to come. There's still room in the truck. If you don't have enough vehicles." The mission captain is now giving the clue that we'll be back tomorrow.

"All right, I'll tell them soon. We'll wait here if they agree to come."

We split up then I guess they'll agree to come along, much better in a safe city. We entered a town later. It shouldn't be far from Little Rock.

"It's not Little Rock yet, we have to be careful here, a lot of pockets infected. We will send drones first to monitor the situation, and then we move without commotion. Because we have to get through this town."

We move slowly block by block. Trying not to cause a commotion was meaningful. Because of one loud noise, then infected one city will chase after us.

Now that the soldiers were using manual means, they used spears and hitters to finish off targets. All done with minimal sound to minimize the sound.

Aaron and I are waiting for them to finish now. But we kept going block by block. Everyone down stayed the two of us who were in the car.

Suddenly out of nowhere two infected muncue in the back of a truck. I screamed in shock.

connect tomorrow....
