THE BATTLEFIELD OF LOVE

THE BATTLEFIELD OF LOVE
Part 75's. Little Rock 2's

"You still have a family?" I asked Aaron on our way.

"My family's far away on the west coast. I'm from Oregon. A beach town called New Port, my family's safe, my town is one of the safe. But eight months have passed I can't go back, I was in Jackson on business. But it turns out I couldn't go home until now, but my family knows I'm still alive."

"You still have hope of coming home, you should be excited Aaron."

"Yes Miss, I still have family waiting for me at home, I will be excited. I'll see them again." I smiled at his spirit, and I still have my mother, and maybe Andrew is waiting for me to come back.

We were halfway through, there were a few small obstacles, ranging from scattered cars, some fallen trees, and slow-moving infected looking for food.

I'm rarely out of town safe, seeing infected is still something that makes you feel very uncomfortable.

"Do you often see them outside?"

"Quite often, if only one or two of our groups sometimes kill him. But if we're a lot we usually avoid it."

"How many groups are you?"

"20 people, we lived originally on a farm whose house was sheltered enough after escaping a chaotic city. But then our food was thinning and we had to look outside for food. So it was found by the soldiers and offered us entrance to the safe city."

"We're about to enter the treacherous area of Grand Avenue Park, this area we're passing through has not been touched by any cleanup at all. We're safe after touching Little Rock Downtown. Half of Little Rock was still a black zone. But we've been given safe passage." A soldier who is a guard soldier who should be with us gives directions."

"Understand Captain." I felt two pistols on my waist and there was a lot of magazine supplies. I hope I don't use it. Aaron can't shoot but he knows to hit the right one if things force us. And if the one we're dealing with is infected less food is slow.

"You can shoot Miss?"

"We've been trained lately, I've been in a 10-man fight against hundreds of infected."

"That's great."

Before long the accompaniment stopped. It's trouble. Quitting is a problem.

"What's wrong?" I asked with fear. It's not far from the city.

"In front of us there is an infected population, from afar quite a lot we do not know if we can penetrate it, the group in front is sending drones. Jeez the infected population.

The soldiers who were guarding us went down while we were ordered to stay in the transport truck. I hope we can break through it by hitting it hard. But if they have to stop and look with the drone, then the problem will not be that simple.

"It seems we have a big problem ahead." Aaron looks worried.

"Either way, if only dozens of them could hit him. But if they have to use drones, it seems that the population can be hundreds to thousands."

Me and two soldiers down at last, there's one Humvees and two military trucks of personnel vehicles that go along in the accompaniment.
