THE BATTLEFIELD OF LOVE

THE BATTLEFIELD OF LOVE
Part 95's. Blueberry Field 2's

"Why did it suddenly darken?" Tommy immediately looked up at the sky. "***, rain clouds and storms. You guys brought raincoats?"

"We brought it." I nodded along. Fortunately I brought it. Every climber must have brought a raincoat. No one wants to be in the rain and shiver in the middle of the forest.

"We won't stop even if it rains okay. We've been more than half the way. Too far up it's better down."

"It's good." James replied, I nodded as well. Tommy leads the way while I'm in the middle and James is behind.

"Sec status. Tommy, report where you are."

"Boss, we've got a health emergency, we've just dropped 16.20, but there's a guide who gave us a shortcut earlier. We might save 1/5 of the time." Tommy reported as we continued walking.

"You're too late in the afternoon, there's going to be rain, stay in your lane, I'll take backups to catch up. You guys far from the car lane?"

"We took the walking path. Balance Rock Trail, far from the main road track, we'll keep walking even if it rains, they bring raincoats, I'll see the situation later."

"Well, I'll send four men to pick you up. Turn on your GPS locator."

Communication finally ended.

"watch also. Feeling guilty apparently." James is making his sarcastic comments now.

"James."

"James is it." James was silent after that. While Tommy survives not responding, he may somehow find out. But restraint does not interfere at all.

We were unlucky the first droplet from the sky came a few seconds later.

"Wear your rain clothes." We were not finished wearing rain clothes, other bad news came, this time the rain poured came with high intensity.

"Damn! Damnit damnit! Why would it rain on a day this bright." Tommy cursed to see the water poured out like a shower. Followed by lightning and thunder, plus a strong wind. The temperature just fell right now.

"Let's walk as we can." I calmed them down, although this hat and raincoat were quite helpful but the intensity of the rain and the wind that came down really made it difficult for us.

"We'd better find some shade first." Thomas finally decided to take shelter after a while we tried to break through this heavy curtain of water, "It's going to be dangerous. Our view is limited."

"Where will we take shelter. Along the way the conditions are the same. You want us to stay in one place?" James came to him to talk to him.

"I'm carrying a makeshift shade tarpaulin, we'll tie it to the tree and it provides temporary protection. I'm afraid the risk of us slipping and falling, there's going to be a lot of downhill ahead. We wait at least the intensity is not too high anymore, then we continue with a better view, this is dangerous."

"All right." James agreed. Tommy moves to tie the tarp to the rope he carries to the location he chose assisted by James.

"Jen, come here." James asked me to go in the middle while he and Tommy were on the sidelines. The cold air was more pronounced when we were this silent. This raincoat helps us not get wet entirely but still it's not a raincoat that pro climbers have much better covers, the water that seeps in wet clothes makes the skin cool and the body shiver in the wind.

"You're cold?" James sympathetically asked.
