THE BATTLEFIELD OF LOVE

THE BATTLEFIELD OF LOVE
Part 137's. Gossip 1

I turned to her side, I was just teasing her, then I just helped her without wanting to tease her again.

"I wash lap so you're more comfortable okay? Tomorrow morning I'll get a water-repellent bandage so you can take a shower. But be careful not to move too much."

"Yes, tomorrow I can be alone."

"It's okay if you want me to help, you're hurt because of me." James let me do it all without interrupting, and I didn't act flirtatious with him anymore. Although in my heart I was happy to take care of him but I did not show it.

"Your hand." I helped him put on a clean shirt, pulling that patient's shirt off his side openings with ease. And now the boxer's part.

"I can do it myself." He stopped me right away.

"Why are you so scared of me." I laughed to see it. He came back and didn't answer me. "Pull the blanket up a little, I'll raise it I'll help you pull one side left, you from the inside okay." I compromised because he didn't want me to see him.

James moved awkwardly when I helped him.

Why, is he so awkward? You don't know his mind. Maybe we've known each other for too long or because of the frills of my best friend's sister. I don't know, I don't know. Perhaps such closeness was too much to handle right now. Not here, not now.

Finally, the event was successfully passed without any incident.

"Here, this is your medicine." I gave the medicine to his hand.

"Thanks." -." And smile for his thanks.

"You need some other help."

"No, this is already. You need to rest too."

"Yes okay. You hungry? I'll find something in the kitchen for you."

"No, this drug still makes me sleepy. It's just scratched you don't have to worry. I'll work tomorrow. Even though I can't get into the operating room, there's a refugee arrival tomorrow, there's a public clinic waiting in line." He was always serious about work as usual.

"All right, I'll check on you in the morning okay. Rest."

\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=

In the morning I checked it. He really wants to work. I helped him put on his work shirt after helping him change the bandage clean. The rest he didn't let me help him.

"James, are you sure you can work?" His movements are still limited.

"It can be, if only checking in a public clinic, or doing administrative work does not require a lot of movement. I know the limit." He smiled at me. "Now I have a private nurse it seems. You're so chatty."

"It's not because of you, but an emotional madman holding a gun. Come on, shitf morning has started."

He seemed to walk normally. Michelle saw him walking with me to her.

"Doctor James. You work?"

"Yes, I'm fine. Not in the room."

"You're sure Doc. You just got shot yesterday."

"Yes I'm fine."

"I heard it's because of Jen's rescue, apparently you guys were really close." What does it have to do with saving someone with closeness.

I think it's a satire, does this girl have a problem with me? Jealous of me being saved by James probably.

"What relationship saves a person by being close to someone." Now I'm looking at him.

"No, I hear Jen's a personal nurse to Doctor James right now. It must have been fun, Jen." I haven't been able to answer it. Now James stopped in front of her and looked at Michelle.

"What do you really want to say that?" Tone was not happy to be in James's question.

"No, I'm just saying it looks like Jen's changed status.I've just been feeling stupid all along. This Jen who she said was just a friend, the only person who followed you from the city before. You said you were nothing, and I was like a fool who believed that."

"Indeed we're close friends because I've known Jen even since she was born. And I don't need to explain my personal relationship to you. You're wasting my time."

James turned away after saying that. I followed. I don't want to talk about it either. I don't think we need to discuss our relationship because outsiders aren't as important as Michelle.

"James, I'm going to Emergency first."

"Yes." Yeah."

And I guess we assumed that the incident didn't exist then.

Martha came to me.

"Jen, is Michelle in trouble with you?"
