Andrew went to pick Bella up, I didn't want to bother them with my appearance. Even though I really want to.whose boyfriend is not jealous to see his girlfriend meet her ex-boyfriend.
But never mind, she even asked me for permission to nudge her ex-boyfriend. What will happen will happen, if he is not mine then it is not.
"I saw Andrew in Bella's treatment room, they talked a long time ago. You're not going there?" Susan reminded me now.
"I know, it's okay. He told me."
"An ex-boyfriend is a bother." I grimaced.
"You're exaggerating Susan. Just leave him."
It's true they chatted for a long time. I couldn't help but look down at the treatment room glass, Andrew smiling at Bella. And Bella looked at Andrew with a look of adoration.
Don't ask me how I feel pushed into a corner just by watching them chat so happily. Why did they split up before? It can't be because of a fight, maybe a situation that makes them separate when they still want to be together.
All thoughts were on my mind so I daydreamed that afternoon. When he finally came back I hid to see his face. Smiling himself walked out. It was like a tanpaan to me, that Andrew seemed so happy.
"Why did you part with Bella." I finally couldn't bear to not ask her at our dinner.
"Ohh just because I moved house." It turns out that they were separated because of circumstances not because they were willing to separate.
"It must be heavy for you." He smiled at my statement.
"It's been a long time."
"It's been a long time, I've told you." He avoids problems. The same thing once he met Bella he must have been daydreaming a lot, as if many memories passed by in his head, it had been a dozen years but he still kept on remembering it.
"Aren't you going to regret Andrew it seems he's your true love, after almost 20 years you're still thinking about him." He's him now. Not answering.
"It's been a long time." He answered slowly, perhaps reassuring himself who was not sure.
"Don't live in regret. That's all."
I let him think. Not forcing him anymore.
The next day I got word that they had decided to have surgery, things had not improved, as there may have been a part of his intestine that had been repaired. I told Andrew that Bella had to have surgery.
"Why is it so bad?" He got James for an explanation.
"He was late, he should have come straight here when he came there was no need to wait."
"Is it dangerous?"
"All operations are dangerous. But he is still young, of course a risk factor. If not operated on, it would endanger his life. He's in pain now. That'sthat's all. You want to meet him, give him a word everything's gonna be fine. It'll be better for him." James offered. I who listened outside James waited anxiously for his reply.
"Yes okay. I'll talk to him." My heart just squeezed, Andrew was obviously worried about Bella.
"Well the operation will take place in two hours, you can talk to him. Convince him that everything will be good. He's gonna need that."
James patted her on the shoulder and I walked away from the room with teary eyes. Andrew cared about the girl.
