THE BATTLEFIELD OF LOVE

THE BATTLEFIELD OF LOVE
Part 92's. Hiking to Sanderson Lake

Early in the morning I was excited by our drink and food backpacks, the locals gave us a trail map around Hot Spring that we could take.

Actually because this is a tourist city we can travel by car, trail tracking is already on the asphalt to the lake above there. Up there is also a settlement of survivors.

"Many of the residents who go down and up usually Miss, they bring fish from the lake or crops to be exchanged for other food here." Maria, the general coordinator who helps the medical personnel who is also a local of the area here told me.

This is how life is now, money may have been difficult because of these circumstances and people so exchange from what they can get from nature. The important thing now is that you can live, survive and adapt.

"That's great, if there's anything maybe we can ask for help."

"As long as it is quite safe, there have been several times that have met infected but now it is very rare. Because this area has been cleared and become a safe city, after all, now we are all mostly trained to face infected." That's good news. I feel safer.

"We want to find wild blueberries, definitely a lot of the above."

"Ahhh you're right Miss. A lot up there, if you get it I'm asking."

"I'll bring a lot of Mary."

And I brought a big bag to collect it. A fun job just from imagining it.

I met Andrew, he was surprised not to see me in my dress but to bring my backpack to the soup kitchen.

"Andrew, Bella's fine." I can smile today when I greet him.

"Ohh I want to track up." I showed the map in my hand.

"You alone, let me have someone accompany you." He's staying good as always. I'll get him as a good friend from now on.

"Ohh no, D*ickhead accompanied me. I'll be fine."

"Who's Di*ckhead?" I'm calling James with Dic*kh*ead.

"Ohh sorry, that was a childhood call to Doctor James. I'm release. You don't say I call him that."

"What's Tootsie, you call me what heh!? I hear you." From behind someone pulled my hair back, this James ba*ngsat. He used to pull my hair. I immediately punched him in the arm.

"That hurts!" I gritted my teeth because my hair was pulled back. Andrew just kept quiet to see us kidding.

"Sir Mayor I went up for a while, I checked the community above. Bring packing emergency medicine, afraid we meet sick people on top." He directly rules.

"Doctor James, you want one man to bring your supplies, you want to go upstairs, he can help, so you're safer too."

"Ehm may, pack emergency surgical supplies and medicine as well as Tootsie. Someone's gonna take him." It's her turn to call me Tootsie.

"Yes Boss, but remember I'm looking for blueberries, and hiking isn't working up there. You want to open an emergency clinic, find another day." I don't want to be stuck opening the clinic above. We went up there for hiking and a vacation today. He grimaces.

"Yes I know, I hope you meet a caterpillar there." I glared at him. "Just relax, he's immune to Andrew's caterpillars, caterpillars love it so much."
