"Later let me give you some vitamins okay. Come with me later. A sick mayor won't be good." He's smiling at me now.

"Thank you, I'm glad to have a caring, private nurse."

"When I became your personal nurse. Don't raise yourself up too much." He grimaced wide now.

Maybe a little attention just makes him happy I don't want to smile too. Susan's words are imagined again, this hot military mayor is too tempting to miss.

Guilt at remembering Fred, somehow it still exists, but his mother told me to let it go. It's impossible that he can't reach anyone after months, because all those safe cities have missing persons information systems. If you're looking for your brother just by name, you'll find him with his picture. But it's been nine months no names have surfaced if sought.

"Why are you suddenly daydreaming?"

"No... " I shook my head. I wish I could accept the reality and not think about it anymore.

"Outside the air is not too cold, want a short walk to the park next to this building."

"Ehm okay, ..." I accepted her invitation.

We were walking in the park next to the hospital building, some people were seen in the park chairs, were enjoying the night, at least here safe. Safe is a luxury, sleeping safely is a luxury.

"Sometimes we feel in uncertain times. Not just you, all of us. You want to talk about how you feel?" Andrew started the conversation because he saw me just walking in silence.

"No, I'm grateful enough, there's nothing you need to worry about. If you say those who have survived so far may be those who have the desire and ability to survive."

"You still want to live, not even though he may have no hope." I smiled hearing his question.

"And you still have me." He said it with confidence that made me have to look at him. "I'm serious about what I say."

"I don't know what to say now Andrew..." I don't really know.

"No, you don't have to say anything. I just want you to know I'll always be there for you. You can count on me for anything." I smiled a little.

"I'm flattered. You're so good to me."

"I'll always be nice to you." He suddenly hugged me. I can't refuse it, but I can't repay it either. This warm hug, someone who can say he will always be there for you. In the midst of misfortune I found a bride, whether this was a stroke of luck or bitter irony.

"Sorry, did I miss it." He let me go, the warmth disappeared. I feel like I want it again, someone who says everything will be fine.

"No, it's okay." I smile. "Thank you."

"Thank you for what?"

"To say such a sweet thing to me I guess." He took my hand.

"Let me accompany you. Later you'll forget it because I'm too good." I don't want to laugh while we walk.

"I think it's a good effort." He laughed too.

"This is all I can do, I don't know any other way, the flower shop is no longer open, maybe I should look for wildflowers in the forest."

"Don't you fool the mayor there's a lot of people depending on your decision." I was scolding him.
