Part 85's. Sweethearts
Gilbert POV
"You took what excuse to come back sooner." That night I was still chatting with Eliza who had her chin up next to me.
His cheeks were red with pleasure, when he came earlier his face was about to cry, maybe he was crying. I feel sorry for him, surely the conversation with his family made him depressed. Now I'm glad he looks better.
"The reason for the job, besides tomorrow he's allowed to go home is nothing serious anymore. Don't think about my job and my problems here I can handle them." I just want him to be happy this weekend, before he gets back there and maybe Andrew will try to shake his faith. "Tomorrow we go for a walk all day okay, we only have two days together, I'll ask you out on a full two-day date." I hugged and kissed her making her laugh.
"Are they still forcing you to have a relationship with Kylie. You have no obligation to visit him tomorrow? Doesn't it cause any trouble?"
"Only implicitly, they did not dare to be too pushy, in fact I benefited because actually I helped them, especially so that his brother was not thrown from the position of CEO of their main company, which is the main company, so I don't think they have the right to push me too far. Just so I'm responsible for making sure Kylie's noticed, she's cured and I made sure to pay for everything, so keep it up all night on the first day of her accident her brother just looked for a chance. He knows he can't force me."
"It's good if it's not so weird. Then what about the person who hit you is there a bright spot."
"Unfortunately CCTV in the collision area was damaged, it was difficult to find evidence. But by using CCTV in the surrounding area we managed to determine the second car that was following me, which hit me I don't know yet what because it was so fast. But armed with it there must be something to do."
"You must be careful, lest you be hurt by such a crafty person. I don't want to be a widow before I get married."
"Darling, you won't be a widow. You should be a happy wife first. How about the idea of making a baby, you can just force your mom and sister to agree."
"Is that true?" He asked again.
"Not entirely true, I don't actually want to enter your family that way either." I sighed, looking at him with various thoughts running through my brain. I had to prove myself in front of his family to take down Albert. That's the only way. The first year retail reports involving Eliza's family should look sparkling.
"More importantly, don't let Kylie expect you. He already likes you if you're too nice to him, he can have unrealistic expectations of you." Eliz reminded.
"Yes I know."
"No, he's home. I can make excuses I have to go to another state tomorrow. Two days ahead for you. No one's gonna bother us." She smiled sweetly.
"You need to rest, it's past midnight. We still have two days."
"I don't want to miss a second with you. Two days will pass very quickly. I don't know how many weeks we can be together." I understand his feelings.
"We will try to visit each other once every two weeks at least. We haven't seen each other in a long time because of the back-and-forth problems that have been happening to us the last month."
"Two weeks still feels long." I didn't return his words. Because I don't know how to comfort her all I can do is hold her tight.
"I knew. Ilove you. Don't get tired of wishing me sweetheart..."
"What's wrong, meeting too often will be boring." He's laughing a little. I know he's strengthening us.
"Sleep, you won't lose anything because tomorrow I'll still be by your side..If you don't sleep, I'll kiss you again."
"Basic mesu*m."
"It's your fault that you didn't sleep."
"I slept. Make me breakfast tomorrow."
"Whatever your orders are, Mam."
He laughed and began to close his tired-looking eyes. I just promised myself to try and do my best to keep him waiting not too long.
