"The sir..." I wanted to say I didn't want to be seen with her.
"Rosie's talking to you?" But he cut me off first.
"Look, I really don't want to get in trouble with you. I told him we had no relationship. Now I want to eat quietly, you stay away." After saying so I shifted my seat away from him. He sighed and took his seat with me.
"I just don't want him to trouble you. Not that I'm gonna bother you."
"No, he accepted it. There's no problem."
"You're sure he's taking it?"
"Yes after he explained he wasn't after me anymore.
"That doesn't mean he'll accept it, it's possible that he'll back off to see the situation."
