THE BATTLEFIELD OF LOVE

THE BATTLEFIELD OF LOVE
Part 143's. Accidents 2

"Get out of the room. Let this room be sterile." Tom finally ordered the evacuation. "John asked the sterilization team to clean this room."

"I want to see the CCTV footage. Mario, John, Paul, Jen, Laura, and you Michelle come with me." Michelle who had not dared to speak was forced to follow us with resignation. If not me he's been turned into an isolation room resident.

"Who knew first Michelle violated the dangerous zone restrictions."

"I know because I saw a security camera there was one person who came in without an escort...." Then Paul recounted a series of events corroborated by CCTV footage.

"Mario, John, you didn't know Michelle was in isolation?"

"No, we thought he was in his lab, in a different room than the nurse's main room."

"Why did you barge yourself into isolation room 2?"

"I.. I. .. there's data I haven't completed." He was downcast now, after his life was almost at stake earlier, regretting it was pointless.

"Maybe, you could try to get bitten first, and then you'd complete the data yourself in the isolation room. That's more valid, isn't it?" This time it seems Tom has found it pointless to yell at Michelle, I heard from James, last Tom made her sit half an hour in the briefing room to memorize the security protocol.

"Access card. Leave it to me."

"I still have to complete the data."

"Access card Michelle! Don't let me take it myself." Tom raised his hand now no matter what the dissident girl said.

The girl had to give up her access card.

"I can't work with you, you make me sit for half an hour just to make you understand security protocols. Then you threw my time into the trash, even putting your own partner's life at risk. If there's no Jen, you're the next occupant of the isolation room. Your professor wants data? Have him send someone else from Atlanta, you'll be sent back tomorrow to Atlanta. I don't want a dangerous man here." Tom was unanimous in his decision.

"Doctor James, can you connect me to Professor Hans now ?" Now Tom will talk to Michelle's boss.

"Doctor James, help me, ..." The only way he's going is to go to James but I doubt if James will help him.

"I will 1000% support Captain Tom, your indifference is dangerous to others, you are endangering your own co-workers, even the security of this entire base, you are apparently not reprimanded..." The girl's luck was now up, she was going home to Atlanta, without being able to argue anymore.

The phone is connected, Tom and James explain everything that happened. And Professor Hans seems to accept all three explanations of the grossly corrupting offense and the fact that he put the lives of others at risk in the latter incident.

"Done, tomorrow you're back in Atlanta. Now you're a dismiss. Mario's gonna make sure you shut down your lab, pack your things, and come in the morning to the freight convoy back to Atlanta."

I never imagined that girl would be really kicked out of here. He's bowed limp.

"Before you leave, at least say something to the person who saved you. You were gonna end up writing a report from your own isolation ward." Tom insinuated it for the last time.

"Jen, thank you." Finally he said his thanks.

"Yes." Yeah." I answered it briefly. There's nothing to say to him. My patience is over.

I went back to the nurse's room with Laura after the commotion. And everyone goes back to their own place.

Tom passed in front of me. She smiled at me making me ask her why she was smiling so much.

"You're the bravest girl I've ever known. Jennifer Gothard, you're great."

And all of a sudden these words of praise from the handsome Captain seemed to be able to dispel my irritation in the blink of an eye.
