THE BATTLEFIELD OF LOVE

THE BATTLEFIELD OF LOVE
Part 144's. The Popular Nurse 1

"Thank you, Capt." I smiled broadly.

"You're not hurt."

"It's not just the possibility that my hand is a little sprained. I held her face until the board broke. I think it's okay I'll ask for menthol cream at the pharmacy a little."

"You can think of holding the infected with a board, that the other girl must have been screaming in fear."

"That's a reflex, half of which I regret my own stupidity dare to take that risk. It should be like you said if he got bitten he could write the report better."

"You're right Jen. It must have written the report better." Laura.

"She's really coming home isn't Capt?" Laura asked now.

"He's coming home, I've reported this to the mayor and they already know about this incident. And they made sure the girl came home."

"Goodoo. Looking at his many times defiant behavior, we can be afraid he's not complying with security protocols."

"Good news is that the first patient is still in stable condition. I thought we'd make it, the fever's even down this afternoon." We lost one but the other one should have stayed.

"I'm happy to be involved in the red zone, so I know how to deal with infected victims with experienced nurses, yesterday the only ones who were selected were the doctors, we only got modules. Now I have an amazing experience." Laura seems happy to work here, last night she also accompanied me until two in the morning.

"He's great, isn't he?" Tom praised me again. Plus looked at me with admiration.

"Ohh Jen and Doctor James were among the first doctors to successfully treat the victim. I have never been in a black zone like this before, but now I have a very valuable experience. If things were normal I could use this experience to earn a higher salary I guess." Laura was now laughing excitedly.

"That's it, I'm not that good. You guys overstate. And for you it's your luck because I see you're very attentive to your patients."

Laura I did choose because I saw how it worked for a while, she was a supportive nurse to whoever she cared for. We desperately need a nurse who can be as encouraging as she is.

"Can you stop..We still have a lot of work at least until tomorrow."

"All right, I'll go first. I'm glad we didn't add an infected victim at least. And well finally the dissident girl left." Tom was determined to do his own job.

The news spread about the incident in the red zone. My name has become famous in recent days. People are watching me.

"Miss Jennifer, good morning." I was greeted with a sweet smile by someone I didn't know outside the hospital while on holiday. Looks like the young Major of the team is on duty outside. Laura and I had our day off when a patient in the red zone was declared cured a few days later.

"Morning,..." I returned his smile.

"Vacation?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"You're going to Lake Toho apparently?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"How about I take you." Laura and I looked at. We used to walk about an hour there. Consider it a morning walk. But now that someone's driving us, it's fun.

"Ehm, can you drive us."

"For the brave nurse who saved our comrade, to take care of him wholeheartedly until he was healed of course it is possible." Laura and I smiled broadly with that sweet flattery.

"This is Laura, she's taking care of him. We both work together."
