THE BATTLEFIELD OF LOVE

THE BATTLEFIELD OF LOVE
Episode 21's. The Dallas Emergency 1

Three days later

4.30PM CST

News about Dallas is worrying. In the city of 1.4 million people, sporadic attacks have occurred.

I can't sleep quietly. Fred said yesterday they had blood drawn. The result is a maximum of three days they have been able to get out of Dallas. James also said the same thing, the test began to run.

Is there enough time? I'm very worried. All of us who undergo combat training do it every day in earnest. Now it doesn't matter what we feel tired after duty. We are overshadowed by fear, one day we will be faced with infected without preparation.

"There's emergency news about Dallas!"

We saw the news suddenly airing on the television station. There was a mess of people running around and around the aerial images taken either from a heli or drone.

"This is the Pleasant Grove educational and residential complex, chaos ensues here. Infected waves that seem to come from one of the settlement complexes create chaos in this complex. Soldiers have just entered, but you see we're facing thousands of infected who are attacking anyone forcing their way into the homes of other residents. To attack the soldiers and the police..." The news broadcaster described the impressions we saw.

I shuddered, images showing people running from above while soldiers fired at the infected in sight . The aerial drone then showed waves of hundreds of infected running after a group of people.

And then a group of maybe twenty soldiers tried to stop them but their numbers were not enough. They were caught by the infected group in front of them.

"May God protect them..."

"That's the area near my house in Dallas..." Most of us are unable to speak. That's my school, a lot of schools there, now turned into a battlefield. There's a whole settlement complex in the neighborhood. And several explosions were later seen on the more distant side. They used grenades.

The Pleasant Grove Dallas TX

------------

I can't imagine how many people are locked up there and are victims.

And that's just half an hour from Dallas International Airport, where Fred is.

I went out and called Fred. He's gotta get out of Dallas, anyway! In any way!

My old connection just lifted! When I lifted up I spoke.

"Fred! Get out of there, there's chaos in Pleasant Grove that's only half an hour from where you are."

"I'll get out by car, we'll find a safe route! Me and ten of my friends are gonna find a way to El Paso! It's fucked! If I could I'd tell you! Iloveyou..." The connection was severed later.

Oh God! He's out in the car? With a chaotic situation like this? How'd he do it?

I returned to the television screen still showing sporadic images of explosions from aerial cameras. How can they survive if the situation is like a battlefield. With maybe thousands of infected ready to prey.

Wait up! Pleasant Grove isn't that also Aunt Jane's house?! James's?

Where's she?

I went out into the outer passage. James stood leaning against one of the walls behind me while staring at his phone.

"Dok, you know there's some emergency news about Pleasant Groove..." I carefully approached him. He's still behind me.

"I know..." He answered me with a choking voice. I move to the side. Red eyes.

"I can't reach them, not even everyone in Dallas including Arnold..." I hugged him right away. Aunt Jane's been 70 years how she could have survived if there was such an attack.

He hugged me tightly.

"I should have asked them to leave Dallas right away when there was a case. I'm late to do it..." It's a regret, I also wish I could persuade Fred to leave Dallas first.

"Maybe they can get out. Fred said many of them would leave Dallas by land route, ..." I tried to give you hope even though I knew the chances of Auntie surviving on a road trip were small.

"That's impossible, even for a run Mother would have trouble. Last night he was still in Pleasant Groove with some servants... Arnold wasn't there, he was with his family. They're all waiting for the test results to be confirmed." She's lost hope in Aunt Jane.

Yesterday the picture was quite shaky, the picture of thousands of infected running around will make you have no hope. One who runs in front of you alone is enough to make you tremble.

"Maybe the military can find them, don't despair okay...We don't know what's going on yet." I was thinking maybe someone in our system could tell us what happened at Pleasant Grove.

"Maybe the military can tell you what happened. Let's ask if Captain Andrew has any news on this..." I also want to know the progress in Dallas.

We looked for Andrew at the training ground later. He and his friends were also watching television still airing news about Dallas.

"Andrew, .. hi Guys..." We greet them.

"Jen, Doctor James. What can we help."

"Do you know what's going on in Dallas, my mom's stuck in Pleasant Grove, she's old. Is there any news on your network about this." They seem silent. Maybe this is not good news at all.

"I think with this situation they will carry out a large-scale military operation. Maybe it'll be like Norman, they'll evacuate a lot of people. If your house isn't breached, maybe the military can save them." Andrew explained what was going to happen.

"I heard from their friends a lot of requests for evacuation in Dallas. And more brigades are going into Dallas." DeAngelo.

"Relax there may still be hope, the soldiers will not leave the civilian population.... You can't call them?" Andrew and the others pat James on the shoulder and offer support.

"Can't do it, ..." James took a breath. I'm also very worried, hopefully Fred can get out of Dallas.

"If we knew anything about Dallas, we'd tell you. But indeed it was already like a war area now if seen on television. I don't know where the infected came from, why it could increase significantly..."

We saw that the aerial cameras were still operating on the television before then I guess the one who brought the news had a problem.

The person reporting this should be in Pleasant Groove as well to control the drone.

"Dean?! You okay?" The voice of the person on the ground was cut into pieces before then a loud cry was heard that made us retreat.
