The Zetta Sonic

The Zetta Sonic
Scones

Alex finally returned home. The rover greeted him on the terrace with Preston. The dog barked while Preston opened the door for them. In the spacious living room, Mrs. Bellsey stood upright like a pillar. Behind him, Alex saw a silhouette that he knew well.

A beautiful woman with white skin wearing a flower dress. His curly hair, which is usually brown, is now painted in gold, left to wedge. His mother came, gave Alex a light hug and a kiss on the cheek. “Hai, Honey! You always look more handsome every time I see you.”

Alex enjoyed the hug for a moment. Her mother's arms remained thin as usual, her perfume changed frequently but Alex loved all the scent. When Mom pulled her hand, Alex put her shoulder to shoulder. “Mother, we have to part a month. Right, ‘kan?” Alex asked, as if to be sure.

Mom pinched her son's cheek. “I promise will make it faster next time.” Then, I turned to Preston. “Prepare tea and snacks for us, Preston. I want to have a lot of conversation in the park with Alex.”

Preston nodded. “Sure, Mrs Alicia. What tea do you want?”

“Anything, Preston. I believe in your taste.”

“Then, I will prepare Rose Congou Tea and scone.” Preston.

That's not a good time. Alex wants to lie in his room, rest again. His body has not recovered properly. Mommy's light embrace had made him sick. Fortunately, his mother is not the type who likes to give a close and long embrace. Finally, Alex waved at the Rover. “I'll go to the park after putting the goods.”

The garden in question is a garden that can also be seen from Alex's room. They did not enjoy their tea there. There is a small gazebo near the main house, not up to the middle of the garden. The gazebo feels like a patch. The Victorian style is too complicated to be combined with the whole house and garden. Alex remembers his father telling him that he likes the gazebo. So, he maintained this gazebo while the others were destroyed to be rebuilt.

This octagonal gazebo is under the shade of a shady tree. The white color is always maintained. So is the round table and the white chair inside. The waiter cleaned it every day, although it was obvious that the place was not used that often.

Preston brought them tea in a porcelain teapot complete with milk and sugar. As usual, his mother added nothing to his tea. Alex instead, he likes to add both. Except, right now. He doesn't even want to drink tea. She only flinched after she poured tea.

Mom started telling me a lot of things. Instead, Alex also recounted his daily life at school. Starting from the cuteness of classmates to their camp. He didn't tell his mother much. The more days, his conversation with mom is getting more and more like a mere report.

All this time, maybe Alex just likes to compare his mother with Mrs. Bellsey's not the mother of her schoolmates. Compared to the supervisor, her mother was clearly much more gentle and friendly. The mother of her friends at school is diverse. Some are arrogant and cold, some are as gentle as mother. Alex never compared his mother to the mother of his friends. He knew they were the same type. No one knows if it's imaging or not.

Since becoming Zetta Sonic, Alex has unknowingly compared his mother to Vanessa's doctor. The doctor also had golden hair. She's charming for her half-century. Alex doesn't like to admit it, but he thinks Vanessa's doctor is more sincere when talking.

Maybe that's what makes him curious about his mother.

“Mother, I just attended a charity event.” Alex notices his mother's actions as she speaks. How she took a teacup, sipped her tea, left a lipstick stain on the cup, then returned the cup on a small plate. “Hari Sunday yesterday.

“What charity way is it?” Mom moved the scone from the tray to Alex's empty plate. “You should eat more. You're a little bit cursory.”

Mom stopped for a moment. He put down the clamp and then pulled both of his hands on the lap. “You went there alone?”

“Actually with friends.”

“Oh, of course. You go with Willy.” Mom made a smile on her lips, wide enough but stiff. It was as if all the other parts of the face refused to support the smile. “Do you have fun there?”

Alex shook his head, without even once releasing his gaze from mother. “Not also. It would be nice if I went with my mom. I mean, I'm used to attending that kind of fast, ‘kan.”

“Yes. I wish I was there too.” Mother answered only what was necessary. His eyes did not dare to look at Alex for too long. He went back to picking up the clamp, taking the scone for himself.

Alex doesn't like their conversation. After spending one scone, a cup of tea, and several times making a fake smile, Alex chose to return to his room. I wasn't trying to prevent it. In fact, in Alex's heart desperately wished her mother had asked her to hold on a little more.

Upon arrival in the room, Rover was welcomed. Alex closed the door, didn't forget to lock it. Then, he slumped. He sat on the cold floor, leaning against the door. Her body feels tired. All of those skits drained his energy more than completing missions using Dragon Blood.

Rover barked cheerfully, hoping Alex would play.

“Do not now!” he said not excited.

The black rottweiler curled up next to his master.

If anyone can brighten his mood at a time like this, it is usually only a Rover. Alex's fingers go down the dog's head. It felt like for a long time he had not played or taken the Rover for a walk outside. It felt like he had also forgotten the excitement of playing with Willy and other friends until late at night. Alex is aware at this time he is more looking forward to his visit to university with Leta than the return of his father and mother to the house.

“I feel all my life is fake,” Alex said, more to himself than Rover. “Dad. Mother. They all care about their own world. That is, I can also be like them, ‘kan?”

Alex is not seeking approval. There is pain in his words.

His hand now felt his chest. The wound was nothing compared to the pain in his heart. Her world has changed since she was with Zetta Sonic. He got to know himself more and lost himself at the same time. Nothing could stand in his way with Dragon Blood. The power along with the euphoria was well recorded in his mind. All the power was at his fingertips.

With a short sigh, Alex got up to the computer desk. The rover moved along, sitting quietly under the swivel chair. For a moment Alex closed his eyes while waiting for the yellow bee symbol to appear under his screen. For the first time too, Alex doubted his mother far more than his father.

Killer Bee will find out who the man is with his mother on charity night. Alexander Hill will determine what happened to the man. It's hard to imagine the Zetta Sonic wouldn't be involved in it.
