Built by the sea, Debura does boast their aquarium. The building is the largest aquarium in the city, beating out the government-made aquarium. Despite being five years old, there were no signs of aging in the building. Each side is well taken care of.
Alex enters from the back door in stealth mode. He needs to find where the monster is.
A long hallway greeted him. The lighting of yellow lights makes the condition dim. The floor part is rubber coated, avoid slippery. The conditions are pretty wet. The hallway was decorated with several doors on the left side as well as two other hallways on the right side. It was the same size as the hallway.
Alex is pretty sure they took his monster down one of those aisles. The size of the truck was bigger than the size of the truck that came to Alex's school. He wished the monster wasn't bigger anyway, even though it seemed too beautiful to be true. There was a bigger puddle on the side of the first aisle, so he went in there.
The hallway ends in a large room. Half the sides are rough, the other half is water. It reminds Alex of the infinity pool. The difference is that the inhabitants of the pond are fish and he is not on top of the building. The pool connects to the entire aquarium.
Seeing a giant clear container by the poolside, Alex knew it was too late. His opponent had put whatever was in the aquarium. And, whatever it is, it has taken its first toll. There were patches of blood on the floor, as well as the fishy smell of blood on the water.
“So, we are dealing with marine dinosaurs?” alex whispers. His heart was beating so fast. He never thought of having to fight in the sea. Despite being protected by a combat uniform, Alex doesn't believe he can win it. His chest felt tight even before entering. The smell of fish plus the fishy blood made him nauseous.
[Starting search.] Emil's voice sounded again. [We're lucky. Debura installed a lot of surveillance cameras. In the aquarium.]
“I'll be in.” Although Alex said it, there was a great unease in the heart. She doubted. His experience sinks back uninvited haunting. Without even knowing it, his hands trembled.
[Alex.]
“Yes, yes, I will move.”
[You afraid?]
“E-- Haven't.” Alex finds himself having trouble lying.
Fortunately, Tiger caught what was wrong. [Hey, kid! If you drown, I will drag you up with my own hands. We are ready to give you help.]
Alex grunting. Trying to laugh at his own fears. “Where are you?”
[At the entrance in a silly uniform. Forced to close this aquarium for reasons of cleaning.]
“Other officers can catch your action wet.”
[Yes, in their dreams.]
Alex imagines Tiger will knock out any officer who dares to stop him. If Tiger can get the people out there, the risk should be reduced. The combat uniform also features an oxygen system made for diving. There was Tiger and Emil behind him. Alex took a deep breath and threw himself into the aquarium fish tank.
For Alex, who had just dived into such an aquarium for the first time, he was very impressed. Debura has a beautiful aquarium. Corals, rocks, plants, as well as any fish that exist is an option. Alex doesn't know about his permission, but what's in there is nice to see. If only he had time, Alex would visit there again. Maybe with Leta. Unfortunately, with a case like this, he doubted that Debura would remain in operation.
Diving further down brings Alex closer to the visitor hallway. He was just bordered by glass with a little boy. The child is alone, with no adults at all. Alex guesses, he was left behind when the visitors were forced to leave the aquarium. For a moment, Alex hesitated about what to do. The boy's round eyes were attached to him while his mouth was gaping wide. Next, he saw how a big shadow was coming to cover the child.
Of course, the same shadow came from behind Alex. The monster!
Alex turned in time. A monster was swimming fast at him. It looks like a crocodile. Grey green body, two pairs of short legs, fat tail, only the face is short triangle shape. His mouth opened, showing a row of small and sharp serrations. Using the edge of the reef, Alex tracked him to escape.
An adult man shouted hysterically while lifting up the little boy. He saw how a three-meter-long monster smashed into the glass. Of course the glass was badly cracked. This man also ran off on the ridge.
[Methoposaurs.] Emil provided information that was not needed.
As Alex expected, fighting in the water and on land were obviously two different things. He cannot swim as fast as the monster. Alex can feel the pressure from all sides. The monster doesn't have to go far to catch Alex. Their sizes are very different. While Alex must swim between the corals, hoping one of them will deter the dinosaur.
[Shoot him!] Emil gave the order.
Alex was eager to do so, only his mind was filled with panic. Moreover, he needed a bit of distance to shoot accurately. Alex got the idea. He began to approach the glass side of the visitor hallway.
[He's right behind you.] Again, Emil provided information that was not needed.
Alex knows he can see it right on the radar. Even with the power of the Zetta Sonic, Alex can't move fast in the water. He had to make the monster hit the glass again like that. So, Alex swam by the glass wall. The monster followed fiercely. As the monster prepares to attack, Alex climbs as fast as he can. At least this time Dragon Blood helped give a boost.
The monster hit the glass even tighter than it first. The glass was also badly cracked. No need to wait for a long time, the cracks grow. In an instant the pressure made the glass break. All the contents of the aquarium are sucked out. Starting from the dinosaur monster, followed by fish, even including Alex.
It's definitely not the best solution, but at least it's the solution.
Alex's vision was blurred. He doesn't know how he got dragged out. He just knew he had to cover his head. It's in the guidebook Jayden gave to Zet-Arm. This technique has proven effective. Alex glanced over the flooded floor. At least there's a knee-deep puddle there.
Somehow, however there are certain parts of the aquarium that are not sucked out. Maybe they came from a different fish tank. Alex found the contents of the aquarium scattered around him. He felt a little guilty about the fish, except for the monster who also floundered.
[Don't just shut up. Finish him.]
“What?”
[Metoposaurus was an amphibian dinosaur.]
