The Zetta Sonic

The Zetta Sonic
Rockets

Alex activates his rocket with a pre-taught procedure. He's got a touch button on the outside. The keys are sensor-protected, so only Alex or a registered ICPA member can turn them on. The rest can be arranged via Zet-Arm. The rocket was softly lit despite the strong air. The wings, which were hidden inside the rocket, are now sticking out. The size was even longer than when Alex stretched out his hand.

Jayden gave a brief warning. [Alex, it's a new tool. We haven't really tried it on the field though Emil and I'm pretty sure he won't explode in the air.]

“What is this rocket with parachute?”

[No. So there's no reason for you to fly around to make an emergency landing.]

“Understanding.”

Alex felt himself start to rise into the air. The sensor in the screen changed. He's got extra lines for altitude and stuff like that, including wind speed. The helmet reads the command in Alex's head. In an instant, he was airborne in the night sky. His body darted straight into the position Bernard Gregory was being intercepted.

“Why don't they shoot directly?” ask Alex.

He saw a group of armed men in front of a pair of jeep cars. Across them was a black sedan and two other cars. Bernard was already outside, raising his hands like everyone else. Meanwhile, there was another person already lying in a pool of blood.

[Filip would definitely want to remove any traces. He wants those people killed by killer robots, not his men. People make mistakes more often. They are also harder to remove.]

On the other hand, Alex saw the arrival of the thing he had been waiting for. The killer robot is coming. The robot has a red color with the eyes lit up anyway.

[Red robots have laser weapons and like to throw small serrations.]

Alex remembers the first robot he fought while at the factory. Basically, these two robots are similar. It's just that, the robot he fought before, could spew fire instead of throwing lasers. Actually, it's much more calming.

Alex tested his flying skills. He took out his laser gun while it was still in the air. The body is stable, not so affected by the direction of the wind. Alex is trying to target the opponent. Assisted by sensors on the helmet, Alex managed to hit the robot's shoulder. The robot was also shaken even though it did not fall.

Instead, there was a row of serrated wheels thrown at him. Alex evades by spinning. Alex darted over the people who could only afford to look at the sight. Before the robot goes any further, Alex accidentally crashes himself. The robot fell to the ground with a thud.

Gavin took aim with a regular rifle. He should aim as much as possible at the hands or feet. His shot dodged the vital points, seemingly unwilling to kill his opponents. Jayden and Emil agree that he's good enough.

Alex tries to keep the robot from getting close to those people. Both are in close combat. The robot is equipped with a fairly capable martial arts program. He can withstand Alex's attacks as well let go. Alex had to jump and hold so the robot wouldn't fly again.

He heard an unfriendly crackle near the robot's head. Learning from old experience, Alex knows that the head will open, revealing the weapon behind it. Justright. Alex turns his head down as soon as a muzzle emerges from his opponent's head. The size is not so big. Small tapered. Always has. Characteristics of laser weapons.

Red laser beam is pointed straight. Alex managed to escape. The tree behind him is not. The tree was broken. The middle is hollow. The edges of his wound blackened and billowed. Alex's replacement unleashed his monster-like opponent. Alex pulls the sword into the robot's body.

The opportunity was instead used by his opponent to fly back. Alex's slash failed. Alex hastily changed to open fire into the air. Two consecutive laser shots. His first shot hit the opponent's leg, but not the wing. The second shot is missed. His opponent threw a row of serrations down in return. Even so, the robot continues to fly towards the side that is still shooting.

Alex is after him. He no longer shoots his laser gun. If the shot slips, he can actually kill the people below. At least, he could use his sword again. Alex is faster. The rocket's thrust and Dragon Blood's strength managed to make him chase after the opponent. This time, Alex bet a sword to the rocket on the opponent's back.

The robot lowered the height. Alex's sword was only capable of injuring his exterior. Alex didn't let go of the opponent. He chased after her at high speed. The opponent turned around, tossing the serrated wheels. Some serrations scratched the uniform and wings, but not strong enough to force Alex to fall.

The robot finally made a landing. Landing just above the hood of Bernard's car. The car was just about to go. The driver had to brake suddenly. Their surprise is not finished. The robot threw a serration that broke the car's glass and injured the driver.

The car owners were panicking. They poured out including Bernard himself. Not the right decision, of course. The number of both sides has decreased. Seeing the presence of the robot, the rest of the gunmen also entered the car. They're about to escape. But Gavin obviously didn't let it. He shot the car wheels. Unfortunately, none of them stopped the car. Both jeeps drove fast. Gavin had no choice but to get in and hide in his own car.

Alex is running out of time. The robot is a predator and Bernard is nothing more than a helpless rabbit. Alex lunges at the robot again before capturing Bernard. In such conditions, it seems very difficult to distinguish between friends, where opponents. Alex found himself being pinned down by Bernard's bodyguards. On the bright side, it's just a regular bullet. They would only inflict a slight scuff on his combat uniform.

The robot opened its head again. Alex dodges. He clutched the opponent's neck, trying to point the laser weapon into the air. In a direction that won't hurt anyone. The robot revolted, not at all like his attack to be disturbed. As soon as his attack poured into the air, his head covering returned, his eyes lit up red. The robot held out both hands to Alex. Another group of serrations came out. They scatter like bees out of a hive. Because the distance is too close, Alex can not dodge. The serration scratched the uniform along with his stomach and chest.

Alex felt sore and wet at the same time. The large number of teeth managed to damage Alex's combat uniform. Their attacks were centered at the same point. The point on the uniform was finally to give up. Some serrations also managed to find the human body behind it. Alex gasps. His hand held his hollowed uniform. There, he felt his hands wet with blood.

As far as Alex fought alongside Dragon Blood, he had never been injured like that. Alex stunned. His eyes are behind the helmet. That's real blood. He doesn't even know how bad the wound is. For the first time, Alex has to admit that he really wants to run away from the fight.
