Under the Skin

If if it wasn't a special car made for the Zetta Sonic, Alex believes it was destroyed. The car shook violently. Something hit him hard from the left. Not a bomb, not a bazooka or anything like that, but a robot. A pair of his big hands tried to tear apart the car but were blocked by White's shield.

Doctor Vanessa asked half screaming. [What happened?]

[Someone really wants Alex dead.] Jayden answered briefly. [White, protective report. Activate the weapon and counterattack the robot gorilla.]

[Shield strength eighty percent. Activate weapons.]

From the roof of the car, a single pointed rifle appeared. A strong green light flashed. The laser beam strikes whatever is trying to topple the car.

Alex doesn't know what strikes until he himself gets out of the car. The figure was exactly like a gorilla with large hands that were longer than his feet. His attitude is similar. The robot retreated when the laser beam struck. The light hit his hand a little. As if angry, the robot hit his chest with both hands. The robot stands on two feet taller than Alex. According to Alex, the robot was a tiny one. Instead of being scary, the robot feels silly.

Alex clucked in annoyance. “Don't tell me he's Baron.”'s man

[In these conditions, people will usually stay in the car. Stepping on the gas as fast as it is and running away.]

“I don't see Baron.”

[The system says he's near there. Now, I can't monitor him anymore. I think Baron knows we're tracking his cell phone.]

“Dan, I took pains to find a baby basket just to find it. I should have known that he would come to me himself.” Alex said as he ran straight towards the opponent.

[Show distance! I think he excels in close combat.]

“Let's see!”

Alex obviously didn't pay any heed to Jayden's remarks. He ran closer to his opponent. Alex gives the first attack, the second attack, and the next. He simply did not give his opponent the chance to hit back.

Given that he had just fought a human inside the cooling room a moment ago, his opponent this time felt even more tender. The punch was not to give severe damage, but appeared dented on the part that was hit by Alex. He hit the abdomen then the chest.

Every attack is too fast. The new robot gorilla raised his hand to reply. Come attack Alex again. The thrust from Alex's punch pushed him quite strongly, thwarting his counterattack.

At the Special Force headquarters, Jayden is conducting an analysis on Alex's enemies. The robot bears quite a resemblance to Nikola's killer robot. They were created to attack, not defend. The layer of the robot gorilla is much harder, indicating that it is indeed made for close combat. Even so, Jayden believes that the robot has another trick.

It's not just what's troubling him. It's actually not the first time for Jayden to see Alex fighting with such emotions. That made him quite anxious.

[Be careful Alex. Keep a safe distance. Don't let him give you a backlash.]

Alex took a harder hit. The punch right on the robot's chest was coated with the power of Dragon Blood. There was a green aura emanating from Alex's fist when he punched earlier. The robot had no chance. He was thrown backwards and hit the asphalt hard.

Alex then looked at her. “You saw it, Baron? Where are you?” Alex screams in silence. “So much as you want to kill me to the point of sacrificing an innocent person? Get out! Don't hide! I'm here!”

[Alex, don't get carried away by emotions. My robot is heading there.] Jayden sighed softly. [I think I should give this robot a name immediately.]

Alex approaches the gorilla robot that is still lying on the ground. There, Alex finds a surprise.

Alex ran away avoiding every shot. The gun was chasing him. Alex is obviously faster. Aided by the power of Dragon Blood, his speed increased by many folds. The robot can no longer follow him. Just know Alex is on top of it. Alex is in the air. While landing, the boy gave a hard fist to the head on the robot. The robot fell back. The hard fall back made a new crack on the asphalt.

Alex waited until the robot woke up again, but it didn't. He also re-spread his sight.

“Where are you, Baron? Too scared to get out?” Alex shouted again in silence. “Do you know how many people have died because of you?”

There's no answer.

“Out, Baron! Don't hide!”

Still no answer.

From the side of the ceiling, a speck of white light appeared. As he gets closer, Alex finds out it's an ICPA-owned robot. He expected the presence of the Baron, not the robot.

“Jayden, track Baron? Where is he?” Alex yelled, this time at his operator.

[I told you that I can't track him anymore. She just disappeared after we tracked her down through a baby basket.]

“You usually check the surveillance camera, right?”

[Suggest a little, boy!] Jayden was finally upset. [Camera surveillance in your area is not much. Many blind spots. Just for information, I've been checking it since. All did not respond. It looks like he also hijacked a surveillance system nearby.]

“Wait. What it means..”

[He knows where you are going.]

“I think it's a new car.”

[Indeed. Nadira has not received a full report about the car. She nags so she knows you're taking her away.] Jayden was upset. [I think the Baron is watching all access to the Special Force base and then watching the vehicles in and out.]

[You know why I don't like him that much, ‘kan? ICPA should be a secret, even for couples let alone girlfriends. If it wasn't for Caitlin's skills, I'm sure Nadira would've fired her. Moreover, he is a favorite assistant professor Otto.]

The robot next to Alex is moving. Alex was shocked when he saw the robot raising its hand and showing the muzzle of the gun inside. Later, Alex realizes that it is not aimed at him, but at the object behind him. The robot gorilla.

Alex hurriedly turned around. He saw the robot gorilla moving on the ground. Then there's a blast of air coming out of the sidelines of the robot. The robot is open. His helmet opened to the right and left like a door, as did his chest. Alex approached slowly to see more clearly.

Inside the gorilla robot, there is a battered man's face. His eyes stared in silence. A man was killed inside the robot and it was obviously because of who. Alex doesn't know him. But Jayden knows.
