Alex doesn't really remember how he got home. He woke up in a state of full body pain. The thought that first approached him was of course about the Special Force. After carrying out heavy missions, he was always with his members. If he had passed out, he would never have woken up without Jayden by his side.
Alex felt his body under the thick blanket. He was wearing ordinary clothes. His combat uniform had somehow vanished to nowhere. If he just didn't remember how to get home, he obviously couldn't remember how his clothes changed. Let's hope the combat uniform gets back into the bracelet and isn't totally damaged. The bracelet containing the uniform was still coiled in his left hand near Zet-Arm.
He let out a hoarse groan as he tried to get up. Her chest is painful. His hands and feet were limp. Her body temperature indicates that she has a fever. Slowly, Alex uncovers the right sleeve. A blue bruised scar looks elongated there. It was the monster.
With a little determination and more struggle, Alex manages to sit in bed. Like a tilted cup, her tears began to drip out. Tiny details dropped down her cheeks, down to her chin, falling on a white leaf-patterned blanket. His heart felt much more painful than his physical. Not sadness. Not the anger. Not a frustration to yourself. Alex found a great loneliness in his chest cavity.
What's wrong? All the.
It felt so strange to wake up in his room. In a state of illness after the mission. Without anyone to talk to. Without anyone asking how he is. Without medical equipment and medicine. No flickering of generator room or engine sound. There is only himself in silence. The only sound he could hear back then was none other than his own voice. Sobs.
Alex had unconsciously embraced himself. That doesn't help. His heart was no less dark than his room. The uncovered curtain shows the darkness of the night that has not yet gone away. It's dark and somber.
As he begins to gain control of himself, Alex sees his friend approaching. The rover is next to the bed. Sitting still without daring to make a sound, even so his breath was included noisy in the silence. Alex is moving again. He let himself slump on the edge of the bed. His hand grabbed the dog. While holding her, Alex cried again.
I don't know how long it took, but it helped. The dog cannot replace medicine or medical care. But, he was his only helper at the moment. Alex is better. He rubbed his dog's head with a smile.
“Good work,” he said, more to yourself.
After waking up at a time he did not recognize, Alex is grateful to still be able to sleep again. He woke up at an ordinary hour. There is plenty of time to prepare before school. Oh, if only he could run away from school today.
Alex wants time. Not vacation. He just needs extra time for himself to save Jayden. His body temperature could actually be the reason. Unfortunately, if Preston or Mrs. Bellsey to call the family doctor, just finished his history. Not to mention that his mother heard about it.
Speaking of the condition of the body, he also has not discovered how he can shoot lasers from his hands recently. That was definitely a surprise. Actually the surprise was bad enough because he had no one to consult on the matter. However, it could be a pretty good surprise as well if he could master it. Before that, it is better if the laser is never used.
While sitting on the edge of the bed and Rover playing by his feet, Alex sighed softly. He realized he had no more leads. The driver, Rocky, managed to escape from him. The dinosaur monster has turned into a charred scar. I don't know what the ICPA should do if they know about it. Had Nadira known what had happened that night, she would have probably laughed at Alex and nagged him all out. So, Alex is obviously not going to call Special Force. He'll wait for the Special Force to contact him first.
Of course they'll contact him first. Alex is pretty sure. There are still a lot of criminals hanging around. Himself needed. Zetta Sonic must take action to save the world, just like a superhero. Even so, without Jayden, Alex is not sure he will be able to do his mission well. Emil's different. He's not as good as Jayden. He can't replace Jayden. He won't be able to hack like Jayden.
This time Alex sighed longer and heavier. He hated being in a waiting state. Ask Emil to share a lead on Jayden is not an option either. Alex chose to stay silent. Wait until a bright idea comes to his head. Or, the Special Force called him for a mission.
Rover barking. The dog ran into the next room. It was like he heard something. When the faint voice reached Alex, he gasped.
Alex hears a noise from the playroom next door, more precisely from the computer. He hurriedly approached his computer only to find that many ducklings had mastered the computer screen that had been dead. They moved wildly like videos that played endlessly.
Alex hastily pulls up a chair, sits down facing the computer, saving data exactly as he once did. Having faced a similar virus, Alex can make his rescue faster than the first time. During his lifetime, only one person has ever sent a similar virus. A virus that is like a mockery for him because it mimics the game Drake and His Land. And, that guy is Jayden.
A smile spread on Alex's lips. Jayden managed to reach him. That's a good sign. That means the young man is still alive. The kidnappers didn't let him die.
While waiting for the process of virus expulsion of the ducks, Alex thought of several places that might be used as a place of captivity. Abandoned buildings, basements, closed shops, ordinary houses. Many candidates are places to re-examine.
Jayden's kidnappers got into action yesterday. In almost twenty-four hours, they could indeed be anywhere at the moment. It was not impossible if they were on another continent. Jayden is injured. They won't take it too far. After all, since they kidnapped Jayden to take advantage of his abilities, they needed adequate space and facilities. Advanced computers, fast networks, and other things. All of this can only be found in the big city. Of course, their current city had everything.
It's pretty likely that Jayden's still in town. The question is, where?
