Alex nodded in disbelief. The question just went by. It was a brilliant idea as well as making him tremble. Shooting the opponent's head ensures there will be no explosion but also ensures the opponent is killed. He didn't want to do it. Alex nodded again. He found his eyes covered in green.
It was Dragon Blood. Something inside him is trying to take over. Like thirst or hunger, it is urgent. Like an unstoppable anger. His hand shook but instead of getting weaker, his grip on the gun strengthened. It was only a matter of time until he lost control of his entire body.
“Emil. Please.” There is a gap between the two words.
[Run from there. She came.]
Emil doesn't seem to understand. Alex didn't ask for a warning. He wanted to explain that he felt strange. Unfortunately it feels so hard. Let alone a long sentence, he could only utter those two words after struggling. His lips also did not move as he wished.
Bompeii came at the wrong time. Hugely. Wrongfully.
His slow steps led him into the container room. The criminal chuckles. His steps casually entered the container with a flamethrower rifle in his hand. While behind him, a huge fire had flared up covering the only exit. Inside, Bompeii was not spitting fire, he was observing the conditions around him. After walking down a narrow hallway and arriving in a more open area, Bompeii had taken ICPA-branded cups with circles and stars.
“Merchandise cheap.” Throw the cup to the ground. After finding out that the cup was not destroyed, Bompeii laughed. “Maybe it's not that cheap. It's a pity that the stuff here should be all.”
Alex has turned around. His eyes blinked quickly, trying to regain control of himself like all. “Go,” the door.
“Are you scared, Zetta Sonic? Or is this all just a trap?” ask Bompeii. “You know, you can always attack me with those rifles behind you. One wrong step and this place will be oven.”
Alex's hand began to lift even though he tried hard to prevent it. “Go!” pinta Alex again. “No... kill.” His voice shakes. The desire within him begged to be released. His mind was already filled with the shadow of Bompeii's death with a bloody head or worse.
Alert, Bompeii also pointed his weapon at the opponent. “Try to think well. This shirt is specially designed to withstand extreme temperatures. What about your shirt? I don't think Otto thought about it that far. He just wants to make an incredible biological weapon and — what the term is — timeless.”
Bompeii knows Otto's name. Alex was not surprised. The last time he faced Damon was because professor Otto gave him the Dragon Blood potion. Bompeii began to tell stories, comparing his concoction with Otto's concoction. Alex didn't listen to him, his concentration divided as he kept himself from shooting.
“He should have split the liquid he got from Regis to me. We can work—” Bompeii stop there
Alex gasps. His finger has pressed the trigger. The shot was released. The bullet hit the opponent. Not heads. Only shoulders. Blood was seeping out of the shirt. Bompeii. Feeling desperate, Bompeii spouted fire again. The situation should be fucked. Alex is feeling strange. For the first time he was eager to taste his opponent's blood.
[Alex!] Emil screamed in panic in his ear.
Alex doesn't understand what's going on. His eyes caught the blurry images. Fire dominated his sight. The smoke forced him to close his eyes repeatedly. Tight chest. Not to mention the heat assaulting his entire body. There's only one thing Alex knows. He knows he's running. Running in the flames. Hitting things, smashing the barrier, then encountering a slightly cooler gust of air.
The desire likely created by Dragon Blood had managed to bring him out of the container. He survived. For now.
His sight gradually recovered. The flames behind him cast an odd shadow under his feet. Alex was kneeling facing the sea. His hands were stretched downwards, onto soft and solid objects. That's Bompeii's body. His hand gripped tightly onto Bompeii's shoulder that had been shot. Blood is pouring out there. Not the shot was the cause. Each of his fingers made a new wound.
Alex did not answer. I suppose. However, there was a growling sound heard. Alex hoped not to recognize the voice that seemed impossible. The voice came from him. From mouth. It was disgusting and scary at the same time. That desire forced him to finish off the opponent.
“Alex! Stop!”
The screams distract Alex. The Dragon Blood effect, the source of that desire, was slightly depressed. Alex could look to the source of the voice. He sees Gavin walking to him while pointing a gun. Not a regular gun, a laser gun. Gavin is not alone. Tiger was a few steps behind him. Just like Gavin, Tiger was also pointing a long-barreled weapon at him.
“Away from him, boy!” pinta Tiger's.
Alex can't move. He can only whisper, “Please.”
The next thing Alex fears is happening. Body jumped. Gavin fired while Tiger just flinched. The big man's eyes glared at Alex. In the uniform, Alex makes the Zetta Sonic more suitable to be called a biological weapon.
Alex evades Gavin's attack. There were several shots that managed to scratch his uniform. However, that did not stop Alex. In a short time, Alex not only managed to dodge the opponent's attack, he managed to take down Gavin. Gavin's turn was desperate. Alex strangles him mercilessly.
“Hei! Stop!” Tiger shouted. He pointed his gun at Alex's head. “Stop! Control yourself! You hear me? Stop!” The muzzle of the weapon was brought closer to even have been in contact with the helmet on Alex's head. “Hei!”
Alex closed his eyes tightly. He doesn't want to see. He did not want to find himself killing someone, even more so killing someone who had once saved his life. As powerful as he is, Alex is fighting the power within himself. His face was wet now. “Please,” whispered almost without a sound. “Please..”.
“Emil!” Tiger exclaims.
[Shoot him.] Emil's slow voice sounded simultaneously in Tiger and Alex's ears.
Tiger shouted. “You crazy? What are you talking about?”
[Alex is out of control. Shoot her.]
“Don't joke! I don't want to shoot him!” Tiger yelled at Alex. “You heard ‘right? Let him go, boy! Now too!”
Under Alex, Gavin is fighting for his life. The laser gun has been removed. Both of his hands were trying to get Alex's hands off his neck. Each time it rebelled, the hand grew tighter. He needs air. Imminent. Watering eyes. Blurred vision. The black figure on it was slowly replaced by darkness.
[Shoot, Tiger.].
Ignoring Emil's words again, Tiger threw away his weapon. With his power, Tiger tried to pull Alex away from Gavin. As far as his experience of fighting in the free arena was concerned, the Tiger had only first felt the difficulty of moving the opponent. Alex flinch as hard as he tries.
And, a familiar voice was heard. [Sorry, Alex.]
