Tiger drove to the office. As usual, the place was filled with people in shirts and ties, not a few who wore suits. Tiger parked the car quite by the road, quite far from the cafe Hummingbird itself. The small cafe can only be seen when he uses binoculars.
Emil and Jayden have contacted Nadira. The woman did not bother. He wants to help Caitlin if her former agent is in trouble. He also didn't want the Special Force to go into a trap. In essence, Nadira wanted Tiger to just check without actually showing a face. They had learned the Baron's secret. Capturing it is another story.
Time has shown at eleven.
[Got anything?] Jayden's voice was heard in the car's loudspeaker.
“But.”
[Make sure your position is safe.]
“Yups. Don't worry.”
Tiger has been walking through the cafe ever since he arrived. So far, he hasn't seen anyone he knows. After all, Caitlin said she'd wear a leather jacket. It's a little different than most people. So, it should be easy enough to recognize it. On the contrary, Caitlin would not easily recognize Tiger. The man came in a confiscated car. Fergus. A new black sedan with berets on several parts, the result of a previous driver's struggle escaped the pursuit of the police.
“Wait, I saw it.”
[On time. As usual.]
Tiger saw Caitlin. The girl is still as usual. Ideal body, hair tied ponytails, breezed confidently, and straight-forward view. As he said on the phone, he was wearing a leather jacket. He also wears leather boots and sunglasses.
Caitlin walked while carrying a paper bag and hot coffee out of the cafe. He sat at the very end of the table outside. From there, his position could be seen more clearly than the people outside the building. His head moved, circulating his gaze to all sides. However, Caitlin was not looking for someone. Dai did not continuously circulate his gaze. The girl stopped occasionally at one point. Caitlin is more like being bored or looking for inspiration.
“What does he do?”
Jayden can see the same thing. The binoculars Tiger was using were connected to his system. [She's either buying time or looking for something.]
“You think I should go there?”
[Let's wait a few more minutes. By the way, I didn't see the Baron.]
“He is alone.” Tiger looked through the naked eye. He was pretty sure he didn't see the Baron there. Caitlin's alone. “Maybe I should greet him.”
[Don't. Let's just wait a minute. We can't be sure if any of the Barons aren't anywhere near there. He knows that his secret has been revealed, we better not be rash.]
“Hey, she's moving.”
Caitlin got up from her chair. He walked leisurely leaving the building area. The conditions are not so crowded, it tends to be quiet. It's not lunchtime yet. Most office workers are still struggling with their jobs. Caitlin stepped on the sidewalk then finally chose an empty chair and sat down.
[He left Hummingbird? Why?]
“Do you think I should go there now before he leaves?”
[Wait first. Someone is approaching.]
They saw another man carrying a large paper bag approaching Caitlin. Caitlin stood up, took the bag. They chatted for a while, nodded at each other, then the man left. Caitlin sat back down to enjoy her coffee and cake in the paper bag of the cafe.
[The biggest paper bag.]
[To outwit the Baron?] Emil finally made a sound.
Jayden agrees. [On the phone, Caitlin said she would meet her friend and go shopping for bags. He didn't want to be caught calling me. So, he bought the bag with the help of a courier. What really happened.]
“She went.”
Caitlin finally stood up when the pavement was completely deserted. He walks casually. His hands threw coffee paper cups and empty paper bags into the trash. Then, he made a slow movement toward the plant behind the trash can.
“She threw something into that flower pot.”
[Let me replay.]
Tiger took his binoculars down. They let Caitlin pitch. Tiger is now taking a cell phone. There, Jayden replayed everything they saw from the binoculars. The system had recorded everything, so he could send it for re-view.
As Tiger had said before, Caitlin did throw something at the plant pot behind the trash can. The shape is not clearly visible, but the color is white.
Tiger waited for a few minutes before he finally got out of the car. Different from usual, Tiger wore after black. If he was driving that fancy black sedan, he would also have to wear matching clothes. Instead of being a professional worker, Tiger prefers to wear driver's clothes. He even wears a hat.
After five minutes, Tiger came down. He walked quickly towards the trash. His hands picked up a cigarette and started to suck. From the earpiece in his ear, he heard Jayden comment.
[Smoking for the sake of taking things? What totality!]
“Diam.” Tiger spoke without even moving his mouth.
His eyes watched around then glanced towards the plants behind him. He doesn't have to spend his cigarettes. As soon as he reflected the thick smoke, Tiger threw away the cigarette, and took the white matter from among the plants.
Tiger got back in the car and started the engine. Inside the white packet, he saw a chip. If Emil or Jayden were there, they would be able to check it out right away. Unfortunately, the two are currently at the base.
“What did you say? Should I take him to the Special Force headquarters or to the ICPA headquarters?” tiger asked while driving the car.
[You kidding? Take it home to base. There is no place safer than our own headquarters at this time.]
Tiger was driving fast as usual. Upon arrival at the headquarters, Jayden and Emil conduct an examination. Just in case, they checked the contents of the chip using the Flip Board instead of computers connected to the entire network of Special Force headquarters.
The start screen displays strange numbers and various files. There are also images of transparent objects such as purple jellyfish. The difference is, it has tentacles on the top of its head. Then a video appeared. Some people wore thick clothes like astronauts pouring liquid into a large basin. Next, the men stuffed the white rat into it. In a matter of seconds, the mouse floated with a pale-black body.
“What is it?” Tiger frowned. “What is poison?”
Emil shrug. “If it's Dragon Blood. The water failed completely. There are no monsters. There are only corpses.”
There are more files, world maps, subway lines, power plants, and rivers flowing into the sea, including the reservoirs where they are today. The files are complete with pictures and detailed information.
Jayden took a deep breath. “Friends, I think Caitlin just gave us a leak of Baron's next evil plan.”
Tiger was still frowning. “Dan, it is?”
“Poisoning all water in capital.”
