The Zetta Sonic
Flower Bouquet

Alex thought Jayden would ask him where he was at the time. In fact, the young man only blinked in silence. He never once tried to turn his head or lift his body even though Alex was sure Jayden could not see it. Alex sat on the couch far enough away from the bed. From his position, he could see Jayden was conscious.

Before long, there was a faint smile on Jayden's face. “I haven't been here in a long time, Alex.” Jayden knew Alex was there.

“I don't know if an operator like you often.. gets hurt.”.

Jayden grunting tickled. “Much more often than you can imagine.” He looked up, throwing a wider smile. “It's good to see you're okay.”

“I think I should have said so.” Alex got up from his chair slowly. He didn't want Jayden to know that his whole body was still hurting. Even if Dragon Blood's energy had been replenished and he had been sleeping soundly, his physique could not lie. As long as he did it slowly, he would look fine.

“I shot more than you,” said Jayden, “and feel pain more often than you.” Again, Jayden knows.

“How about that transmitter?” Alex smiled with a smile. He had arrived beside Jayden's bed. He could see how Jayden looked tangled but his facial water looked better. “I heard it involved a bullet and a broken bone.”

“Doctor Vanessa told you?”

“He explained it to me with many medical terms.” Alex sighs. “He himself said surprised if you had planted a kind of transmitter on your bones, which he said is quite special, there are no side effects as well as radiation. Smart way.”

“Call to take advantage of the opportunity in pain.”

“At least you haven't lost your sense of humor.” Another voice followed after the sound of the door sliding open. Tiger approached them, still on his wheelchair. “While I thought you would lose that lousy sense of humor with a lot of blood.”

Behind Tiger, there was Emil pushing his wheelchair. There's also Dr. Vanessa. The charming woman wore a soft violet suit, matching the scent of the lavender perfume she was wearing. Her hair was perfectly curled back. This makes her earrings and pearl necklace look montane.

Emil behind Tiger nodded slowly. “You lost a lot of blood.”

“You drain ICPA blood supply until someone has to donate blood for you,” Tiger said.

“Let me guess. You are not the one.” Jayden giggles.

“Of course not.” Tiger laughed immediately.

“ICPA takes blood backup from red cross. Not a big thing. I was worried that we would lose you,” added Dr. Vanessa. “We all missed you. Good to see you back, Jayden.”

“Really?” Jayden looked at Alex.

The boy just shrugged his shoulders. Then, he spread his gaze around. The room was as big as the VIP room of a famous hospital, complete with a sofa and a large television. The pale yellow color combined with brown invited comfort in Alex's heart. Even more so with Jayden's safety.

“See, she's shy.” Tiger tease.

They also talk relaxed. Doctor Vanessa said goodbye, leaving the four men there.

Tiger cleared his throat. “Just how I feel or—”

“Doctor Vanessa?” guess Emil.

“Yes. He's obviously going on a date,” Jayden said. “Since when does she like to wear jewelry?”

“The question,” says Alex, “with whom?”

The silence struck unexpectedly. And, Tiger, who hated that kind of pressure, broke it as quickly as the silence came. “Come on, it's none of our business even if we're curious. After all over a dozen ICPA researchers were interested in him.”

The nod comes together.

Jayden added. “If it's not wrong, doctor Vanessa has a daughter. The boy's father won the divorce trial and took their daughter. Afterwards, Vanessa's doctor focused on her work until joining the ICPA. He has many colleagues also joined in the research forum.”

“Sacrificing his family for work?” muttered Alex.

“We don't know about it.” Jayden doesn't like Alex's comments. He was under the impression that the boy was trying to find his father's likeness to the doctor. “When he first joined Special Force, he looked depressed. He doesn't know what to do with you. You... slightly different patients.”

“Lately it seems like he knows more.”

“He has a partner. Another researcher as well as a discussion friend about your condition.”

Jayden's remarks made the other three people spontaneously glare. They know clearly that the Special Force is not something that can be used as a discussion with fellow researchers or fellow agents. If Nadira finds out about this, they will obviously be sanctioned. Jayden knew about this but hid it from the others.

Jayden sighed softly. “Maybe I shouldn't have told you before more concrete proof.”

“Continue!” pinta Tiger's.

“Dominic Jeremy English. Researcher from Regis, famous genius and playboy. He e-mailed Vanessa several times. At first I thought it was a date under the guise of a discussion show. Apparently, he also sent a similar email to professor Otto. So many emails, even before the Special Force was established. It seemed, he was so interested in Dragon Blood. Professor English was supposed to meet doctor Vanessa at the Golden Brain.” Conference

“How do you know this?” Tiger frowned. “As Golden Brain progresses, you should be kidnapped.”

As soon as Jayden glanced at Emil, the other two pairs of eyes followed. Emil muttered softly. “I do Jayden's job. Checking all communication lines.”

Jayden praised. “You did your job well. It is better to prevent the deployment of the Special Force secrets to the outside. We don't know where the danger comes from. In fact, after the Golden Brain conference, Vanessa's doctor did email her. It discusses Alex.”'s health issues

“Maybe he just wants a discussion friend,” said Emil. “Doctor Vanessa took some advice from him. It works for Alex.”

Alex did not comment. He looked back around him. The hospital room is on the second floor. The location of the building is almost in the middle of the ICPA headquarters complex, can be categorized as quite safe.

A few minutes later, a slow knock was heard at the door. A nurse came in carrying a flower arrangement. “Good day, Jayden.”

“Good day, sister.”

“Try view. There's a pretty bouquet for Jayden from agent Caitlin. Someone special to you?”

Jayden lost every joy he had in him. “Very special.”

“Alright, I put it here, yes.” The nurse did not pay attention to Jayden or the other three men. She placed the flower in an empty vase near the television and left the room.

“Caitlin send flowers? I thought he was still here?” alex whispers.

“This makes me think that he escaped after Jayden survived.” Emil spoke exactly as Alex and Jayden thought. “It's a pity that he hasn't completely cleared his fiancee's name. Also his name.”

Alex exchanged a glance with his operator.

Afterwards, Jayden took a deep breath. “I have a theory involving Caitlin and Baron.”
