Another plane was flying right next to them. The plane door is also open. There was a short bridge between them. Somehow since when, one of his guards had tied a rope to him. The rope is connected to the new plane. Somehow too, but his departure to the new plane also went smoothly. This is the way he and the other Special Force members used to help Gavin's girlfriend. He doesn't believe he's going to live it either.
Camellia said the flight was as long as it took. Sure oes. Jayden understands too. It looks like Roban will move him from one plane to another until he gets what he wants. The thing is, no one knows what Roban wants.
Jayden turned back once more before the door closed. He didn't see anyone. Not her guard before, not Camellia. No one took him anywhere. For a moment, he thought maybe Camellia was also forbidden from seeing him or Roban didn't want them to know too much either.
“Street!” The man beside him snapped while pushing his back with a long-barreled rifle.
Jayden took a step reluctantly, especially when he saw a man standing in front of him. His curly hair had a high enough crest, golden color makes Jayden imagine birds. The thin face reminded him that he had seen the man even though he could not remember where. His lips were shiny as if wearing lip gloss. Dandy type with muscular body. It was not as big as the two guards behind him, but it was clearly bigger than him. From that distance, Jayden smelled a strong and nauseating perfume.
“Quiet, children, let me take over from here,” said the young man.
“Why am I not surprised to see you here.” Jayden spoke, not stepping. It's hard to explain, but Jayden knows that he can be considered a fool. He took the opportunity to dig deeper into the information. Jayden was sure the man could leak things to her.
“Oh! You think that I won't get back at the ICPA that fired me?” The man laughed.
And, Jayden's right. He let out a long sigh, realizing that he had met two former ICPA members in the criminal camp. First, Camellia, then this guy.
Hearing the information, Jayden immediately remembered. He's an operator like himself. A bad operator. He made the agent he was mentoring near death. Near death here means the agent is still alive despite having to lose one leg and one side of his vision. The agent was confirmed unable to return to the field, while the operator was dishonorably fired. He was so late in checking the information, giving a late warning, and giving unnecessary panic.
“So, you made up a plan to kidnap me, Marcel?” Jayden called the name of the man in front of him appropriately. Inwardly, Jayden knew clearly that Marcel was not the mastermind. Again, this is just Jayden's wits.
“Of course not. I have a better plan, unfortunately Mr. X reject.” Marcel sneering. Next to his hand flicked the crest that was almost down to the eyes.
“I think Roban must be the one who gave Mr a better plan. X.”
“Unfortunately so. I hope it wasn't Camellia who made that proposal either. I should have gotten a promotion from him first. I bothered to book a lot of flights to prevent you from landing.”
Jayden is convinced that Roban is a puppet to Mr. X. Unfortunately, even for people like Camellia and Marcel, they don't know who Mr. X actually.
“True,” said Jayden, “you are definitely better than most people who are here.”
“Of course! I'm the leader here. I am the most powerful. So, you better obey me too, hostages. Otherwise, I could ruin your handsome face which often drives ICPA female agents crazy. Actually, I'd rather throw you out of here, if only I could. Hmh! Now come with me!”
Jayden squinting. A faint smile spread across his face. Satisfied with all their brief chatter which turned out to contain far more information than he initially thought. He now suspects that Marcel not only wants revenge on the ICPA but also himself. It is not impossible if he seizes the heart of the girl of his heart. Now, he understands better that his face may be more hated than liked. This is directly proportional to the number of male agents in the ICPA.
The hallway ends at a door. There was a fairly large square window on his body. Marcel opened it using a magnetic card. Behind the door, he was greeted by a row of passenger seats without any passengers.
“Sit there and don't ask much!” marcel pinta. He waved at a row of chairs at the front.
“What if I have to go to the toilet?”
“Tell them, not me” Marcel said as he glanced at the two guards who continued to follow Jayden.
Jayden according. He sat in the row designated by Marcel. One guard sat in the other row, another sat next to him. Marcel was sitting on the opposite seat to Jayden, the only one facing the other side.
As per Marcel's request, Jayden did not speak again.
His mind floated back to the ICPA. He thought about what steps the Special Force could take. He also recalled the special tool he always tucked in his shoes. It should serve as a tracker. As a member of the secret agency prone to being kidnapped and killed, such a device should be able to tell its location on the headquarters. Unfortunately, when kidnapped, his shoes were thrown out of the ambulance. If you think about it again, it means that there are intruders who are so close to them.
Luckily Jayden had other steps. He installed a system on Jason that would be active when he went missing. The system will soon be active. Jason's gonna help the Special Force. If it does not run smoothly, the system will find its location directly. Otherwise, at least that system would help the Special Force find other things. The secret things that he had accumulated for quite a long time.
“Why are you smiling by yourself?” Marcel's question sounded like a snapshot. “Are you crazy?”
Jayden just raised both eyebrows, not intending to speak.
“Hey, answer me!” Marcel demands.
Jayden was silent. He let Marcel reinstate his orders.
“Alright, I let you talk now,” continued Marcel.
Jayden knew it was going to happen. “I just thought of some funny incident.”
“You think I'm stupid? You must be thinking about how to escape me. Maybe you remember some of the abduction cases on the plane that Caitlin had solved. Believe me, it's not going to happen! I ordered a different type of plane, a different name, in a different location. There is no real crew. So, don't expect too much!”
At that time, Jayden knew that one of his assumptions that had crossed was now proven. Caitlin was involved. And, Marcel, remember it clearly. Kidnapping with hostages that never land, never happens to their agents. Caitlin finished it brilliantly. Now, just hope that Alex will do well.
Even so, Jayden was not sure that Catilin was the mastermind. He was more convinced there was someone else behind it. If the name he thought was correct, then he and the rest of the Special Force members were in grave danger.
