The Zetta Sonic

The Zetta Sonic
Right People

The airport once made Alex cry. When his mother first went abroad for a few weeks, Alex found herself sobbing in the car. At that time, Preston was with him, making things feel lighter. This time, he was alone. He also had no intention of crying let alone losing.

After all, when else could he park his vehicle in the middle of such a runway. Alex no longer questions how his car that does not have a license plate can drive freely on the highway or how there are no more people who roam the scene like that. ICPAs always have their own way. Zetta Sonic is one of them.

One of the things he learned after a while as an agent was about the lack of mission location. The more deserted the place, the more permits will be obtained. Alex knew his shooting clearance had gone down, including his laser gun. The ICPA seems to want to stop Damon from saving the hostages.

Damon was sitting on the broken wing of the plane. Not far from his position, there were police cars that were barely shaped anymore. Some of them are burning or even blackened. There was a sickening scent that was airborne. Alex's stomach feels nauseous to imagine what could be the cause of the aroma.

When Alex jumps down from the SUV, Damon stretches his hand into space. “Finally! Why make me wait so long? The police you sent can't last longer than ten minutes. Boring!”

Alex circulated his eyeballs without moving his head. He didn't want Damon to think he was upset. There's always something to hide behind Zetta Sonic's helmet. He tried to take a leisurely step closer to Damon.

“Why should you do so far?” reply Alex. “You can send email only.”

Damon laughed at him. “Good joke!” greet him while clapping his hands. “Let's determine who is stronger among us.”

Damon's eyes twitched. Seringai make other unnatural veins also twitch. Some parts of his face looked darker. Other than his large and muscular body, his face did indeed make anyone who saw him shudder in horror. Damon looks even scarier. Especially when he jumped without a cue on Alex.

Alex has learned a lot. He knows what his gamble is here. He knew he had no other choice. Damon's fist is held back by Alex's new shield.

Damon. “New toys?”

“I agree,” says Alex. “Let's see who's better.”

Alex pushed himself. Damon was retreating regularly. His bare feet stepped agilely over the hot runway. The foot looks big, much bigger than its actual size. Damon's entire body does look bigger, especially the top. Alex began to think whether the opponent he was currently facing could still be classified as human or not.

When Alex flicked his hand, the transparent green shield vanished. He had just learned to use his first shield. Everything could be arranged with his mind, as easy as flipping a palm. The strength of its shield comes in one size and variations in duration differ. The size is available in three options, small, medium, and large. The small size is only able to protect the chest. Medium size can protect half of his body, just like the one he was using. The large size was able to block any form of attack as big as him. It sacrifices a lot of energy. His new shield came with its own energy reserves, not Dragon Blood.

“ICPA always makes you new toys, with or without Jayden, eh?” asked Damon who was moving his legs agile like a boxer in the ring. “It looks like you guys no longer need Jayden.”

“You got the wrong point, Damon.”

Alex could only resist a little. Even so, the attack managed to hit the edge of the face and make it look good. Alex hurriedly kept his distance. Damon's attack came on end. He held off the attack with his hands and occasionally his shield. Actually, more than that. Alex is waiting.

The right time will come if he pays attention properly. Alex learned this from many of the videos he watched as punishment from Nadira. Not only did he discover that there were a lot of villains and monsters out there. The ICPA has hidden it well from the public. He also learns that the villains and monsters can be defeated in the right way. The right time. The man who is after.

Alex looked down, making his own chance. Damon's hand escaped past his head. While Alex managed to make a hard fist on the opponent's stomach. Plus the power of Dragon Blood, the attack became much more deadly. Damon slammed far enough away. On top of his aching back and flying dust, Damon could only gawk.

In the distance, the passengers of the plane jumped in excitement. Their voices could not reach Damon, but he recognized the excitement. Damon's up soon. While cleaning his body, he turned to the passengers again. One of the passengers' young children showed a thumb pointing down at him.

Damon swearing, throwing spit. “Do not think that the attack makes you better than me!”

Alex grunts amusedly. “Come on, I still have a lot of attacks harder than that. Don't fall down before receiving it.”

Damon runs at Alex. This time, Alex is ready. Damon's attack came about on Alex's shield. At that moment, he actually used his shield to jump up. Alex lands right behind Damon, kicking the opponent's back, making him fall again. Damon reached for a stone block nearby. He threw the stone with all his might at Alex. The attack should have arrived. Ought to. There was something else that made him fail. A laser shot from the air shatters it to pieces before it hits Alex.

“You hid behind a toy!” exciting Damon. He had gotten up and turned around, facing Alex who was keeping his distance. A low-flying drone is now starting to drift away. “Too scared to play with me?”

Alex doesn't need to prove himself to Damon. There was no reason for him to feel offended to the point of releasing the ICPA facility. He was smiling too. “You know what points are wrong you caught?”

Damon raised his eyebrows without asking anything.

“Without Jayden, ICPA will indeed survive. That's not proof that we don't need it. He's a friend and partner. We'll take it back.” Alex laughed too. “Try to think well, Damon. I thought beating you without Jayden was enough to prove that I'm better than you. But, if I thought again, with Jayden I'd beat you harder.”

“Fuck shit!” Damon growling. His hands were tightly clenched.

“The main point,” says Alex, “I will beat you with or without Jayden.”

Now Alex is starting to believe that he is the right person to beat Damon.
