The Zetta Sonic

The Zetta Sonic
Morning Talk

On the other side of the capital, two lovebirds were enjoying their quiet breakfast. Maybe, too calm. Dominic pours coffee for the woman who always makes him fascinated and challenged. Doctor Vanessa made it hot cold. Praising girls is so easy for him — also gives him the title of playboy. However, getting a woman in a serious relationship is clearly another story.

The topic of conversation is the first thing they always discuss. They have the same job, a doctor. Ever since the Kloster Island case, Dominic told Vanessa everything. That didn't surprise the female doctor. Not necessary. Vanessa has been enlightened repeatedly when she talks to him. Everything makes more sense when Dominic admits that he knows a little about Dragon Blood. After all, he had once researched the same liquid. Unfortunately, Otto had a vision that was the opposite of his.

“When you say that you know a lot about Zetta Sonic, I don't think that you ever intend to make the same experiment,” Vanessa said as she pulled the cup closer to her. There were various kinds of bread among them besides coffee pots.

“Not the same,” Dominic says quickly. He offered sugar to his interlocutors. Vanessa shook her head, so she added sugar just inside her own cup. “I don't make dangerous liquid to kill people.”

“Alright, not completely the same. I concur. Hearing the difficulty you can reach the spring, are you not curious how professor Otto can get access to it?”

“People in.”

“Then?”

“Then?” Dominic repeats Vanessa's question. He saw the woman raise both eyebrows waiting for her answer. “Then. I mean, we don't know about that yet. The agents are looking for him. Tesiana herself had already checked on the members of her tribe. They're all clean.”

“That means, it was done by an insider who no longer lives in that village anymore,” continued Vanessa.

“True.” Dominic sipped his coffee. Warm and sweet, yet the woman in front of him defeated it all. Dominic shook his head, throwing away his distracting daydream. “Tesiana also thinks that maybe this is done by members who have left the tribe. Kloster is more open now. Many go to school outside or marry outsiders.”

“Married? I think the Kloster tribe is considered an inland tribe.”

“Indeed, but that's not the reason they can't be happy out there. Since Tesiana became the chief, Kloster was more flexible. He let outside teachings go inside and allowed his tribe members to come out. That seems to be making trouble.”

“I can't imagine how the girl faced her elders.”

“Difficult. But, he survives. Tesiana herself had attended school outside and even became a member of ICPA even though only briefly. He maintains that this relationship is maintained. Capturing who is the perpetrator of this data leak will help all parties.”

Vanessa nodded. “Help you guys also help Tesiana restore people's trust in her.”

Dominic started eating his breakfast. Vanessa did the same. The woman noticed how the man in front of her sometimes stole a glance at her. Instead of exchanging a smile, Dominic instead immediately set his sights on something else.

“So,” said Vanessa while stopping all her activities, “just admit, you approached me because of Zetta Sonic, right? You're curious about Dragon Blood and Otto.”

Dominic got the same question before. He sighed slowly and stopped his activities. “Must admit, yes. But, now? No. gabe. Quite the contrary. I approached Special Force because there was a beautiful doctor there who captivated my heart. Otherwise, why would I bother coming back here?”

“Entahlah. Maybe you are social in spirit so you want to help ICPA other branches that are in need.”

Dominic chuckles. “So, how about we talk about our future?”

Vanessa smiled knot. “You know I already have a child, ‘kan?”

Dominic knows that Vanessa has separated from her husband. “I know. I know your kids. Jayden, Emil, Alex. Anything else I need to know?”

“It looks like it's still there. It is still in the stage of being talked about.”

As Vanessa said. It's still in the talking stage. Nadira was made.

[I can't believe you gave Alex access to talk to criminals!] Nadira yells. He didn't care if the loudspeakers across there protested because of it. [You're outrageous, Jayden! Tiger, give him a punishment!]

Jayden raised both eyebrows. He was in the control room with Emil and Tiger. Tiger shook his eyes and Emil covered his ears with both hands.

“Alex does not contact criminals, just contact his friend,” reply Jayden. “Dia—]

[Everyone in an ICPA prison is a criminal. What do you mean we caught it wrong? No kidding! Fortunately Fergus caught him in time before he escaped. Otherwise, he would have run away like Bompeii.]

“Bompeii is dead.”

[Exactly. This is what happens when we are not careful.] Nadira massaged his forehead. [What do you think about getting that kid involved? You want the technology? We've got it.]

“Not fully. There's an unsolved code. The micro robot recognizes its owner through DNA. It was a statement from the ICPA research team under the supervision of Fergus.”

[He is not the maker.]

“The micro robot is obedient to him not to us. As long as we can't break through the security system, it's impossible to replace the DNA code of the carrier. If it is rash, the robot will even turn to attack us. And, I heard it already happened.”

[We'll crack the code soon, Jayden. As usual.]

Jayden rolled his eyes. Talking to Nadira always feels tough. “Alex and I think we need something new to fight Baron. Cody could be the answer.”

[No. Just one kid in Special Force.]

Tiger chuckled without saying anything. Emil distracts, he's tired of listening to those fruitless conversations.

After Nadira took a deep breath, she spoke again. [If you have another agenda, just say it right away. Why go so far as to invite him to join? What does Alex want?]

“Alright,” said Jayden while bringing himself leaning forward, a little closer to the screen. “At first this was just Alex's crazy idea. He wants to chat and figure out how to get those robots to comply with us.”

[See? Alex thinks the same as me!]

“But,” says Jayden.

[I don't like the word ‘tapi’.]

“Alex sees Cody in miserable condition. The boy looked desperate. Alex thinks that you might be able to reconsider his sentence. Perhaps, his punishment could be replaced by helping us like the Special Force face Baron.” Jayden spoke more slowly at the end of the sentence because he was not sure about Alex's idea.

[Cody is not Alex. He was not prepared to die defending the truth. Letting Cody help us will only add new problems. Tell Alex I refused her request. Ah, no. Tell him I don't accept bad suggestions.] Before shutting down the communications network, Nadira added. [I think it's all over discussed. You can continue your work while I'm gonna talk to Fergus about Cody's punishment.
