Does he miss her? Alex begins his journey through the school gate with a strange question. There are times that make him lazy to go to school, such as exam season. There are also times that make him excited, call it like field trip. Now he was analyzing which one was more precise.

“Alex.”

Alex looked up when his name was called. A black long-haired girl approached him from the side of a large window. The rays of the morning sun made his gentle face sparkle like a pearl. Her wide eyes were beautiful, as if hypnotizing her so as not to be able to take her eyes off. And, that smile always made his heart pound even tighter.  Even unknowingly, Alex had taken a deep breath.

“Leta! Hi!” Alex stopped in his place. He tried his best not to be awkward so he managed to recover due to the charm of the girl.

He knows he has been missing for quite some time but a replacement actor from the ICPA has taken his place for a while. No one knows that it's not her — should be, so. Preston's in exception.

“How are you?”

Leta's question made Alex wince. Until yesterday, the actor from the ICPA still came in to replace him. Today, he gets a question with the impression that Leta hasn't seen him in a long time. They should have met yesterday.

“Good,” replied Alex, as quietly as possible.

Leta took a short breath. “You know, you can always talk to me if something bothers you. I mean, the news has been pretty horrendous lately and it's getting more and more. You avoid friends and we all understand.”

Alex realizes that Leta is talking about her mother. It opened the first time there were parents of students involved in such a scandal of infidelity. Being at the Wood Peak school which is famous for its content the majority of children from wealthy businessmen, celebrities, or officials, makes the school often hear scandals. The two most common scandals are money or marriage. I don't know how many end up in jail or end up in divorce.

“Thank you for worrying about me. I'm doing fine. It's just a rumor,” Alex said again, calming himself down.

“You are getting higher,” Leta said.

“Yes. It looks like it.”

Alex also knew. The girl's head was now only slightly above her shoulder. He also noticed it when he hugged Preston some time ago. The servant's head was getting thinner and shorter. The facts are just the opposite. Alex is bigger and taller.

“So, you're coming this Saturday?” ask Leta again.

“Of course. That would be fun. I won't miss the chance to meet you.” Alex smiled, trying to tease his favorite girl.

“Perfect! I'm also impatient.” Leta turned her head when she saw one of her female friends waving. “I'll be there first. See you later in class.”

As soon as Leta moved, Alex immediately turned to avoid the girl seeing her confused face. What's up on Saturday? Not yet had time to think who to ask, Alex has been surprised by other things. He got up to the level because of it.

Willy was immediately crushed. “Hahaha.. Come on, nothing is more surprising than my accident at the gym.”

Alex tried hard not to ask. He knew his best friend was okay. He didn't see the cast there. He could also see how Willy was walking normally while carrying the backpack as usual.

While continuing to the class, Alex also provoked a conversation. “So, about Saturday..”.

“Oh, yes! The pool party. Hows it? So want to come find a swimsuit with me?”

Alex shrugged his shoulders. “Neg. Mine's still good. But, I can accompany you if you want.”

“Tomorrow afternoon after school?”

“Bby. I'll tell Preston not to pick me up.”

“What about Tetra gala dinner? You'll come ‘kan?”

Alex recognizes the annual event held by Production House Tetra. He himself had been looking forward to it since many months ago. The food available is not only delicious but also many famous people who will attend, even international celebrities who usually can only be seen on a glass screen. The organizers will usually also provide interesting events.

“Of course!” Alex can't hide his spirit.

“Means your mother will also be present, huh? He worked several times with Tetra, ‘kan?”

“Yes, he will be present. Sure.” Alex can't say it with the same spirit as before. He doesn't know how to meet his mother after a scandal that continues to heat up.

Realizing Alex's reaction, Willy shrugged his shoulders. “Ups, sorry. I don't think that's something that fits right now. Forget about that. Everything will be fine.”

“No problem. That's a normal thing. Scandals, social climbing phenomena, popularity ratings. It always adorns my mom.”

“That's why you want to be a businessman like your father?”

Alex chuckled at the words he was about to say. Lies are mixed up in jokes. “My father's job is simpler. Around the world, making sure everything is safe. If there is a problem, just send people to solve it.”

“True. Simple.”
