The Zetta Sonic

The Zetta Sonic
Ring

Alex remembers what happened last week, how he and his friends had dinner together at home. He remembered how he was finally grateful to have ever taken a piano course. Leta sings while she plays her music. They play until late at night. A very pleasant thing. That same week, he impressed his gym teacher for being in the final of a boxing tournament in class. That is, he got the second highest score after Willy.

Their sports teacher got quite carried away. The boxing tournament will be held again. The idea is to fight another class. They even changed the hours of special lessons for this. Actually, Alex didn't mind the idea. He likes to be under the lights.

Alex won't fight Willy. The two of them would fight against two people from other classes. The winner will give an A for one-class sports lessons. The classmates showered them with moral support and many other things. Alex even got a dinner roll made by Leta. Something he never knew he could get. He couldn't possibly want something he didn't know.

It might seem ordinary. But, because Leta made it, Alex somehow felt that the dinner roll was worth serving in a star hotel. Hari Leta made it again. Alex devours one of them after lunch, before they compete with another class.

“So, today we will get an A value for the whole class?” Alex nudges Willy's arm. “It's like a game.”

“This is indeed a game. No one will get hurt.” Willy chuckles.

They were in the dressing room, both of them. Other students do not need to change their clothes. Only those who are going to take sports lessons today. Others will be spectators. They would sit in the stands with a perfect view towards the boxing ring. The boxing ring was hired specifically for today's event.

Willy and Alex both wore shorts, head protection, and of course boxing gloves. They look cool and silly at the same time. In front of the mirror, Alex can see that his mission with the ICPA does not have much impact on his body. No scarring or abrasions at all. Dragon Blood seemed to provide double protection for his body.

Alex had never once used Dragon Blood since leaving the reservoir. He earned his worth last week honestly and fairly. So is today. He would get his victory from the opponent without cheating. The teacher said that Alex had good intuition. Alex rectifies it, knowledge.

Learning more will not hurt. In addition to shooting and hacking, Alex learned a lot of other things. Including martial arts, even boxing. He did not hold much interest, but he knew many things from foot movements and so on. There was no doubt or fear in his eyes. Until he realized that his opponent was the son of a famous boxer. It would be a miracle if Alex could beat him.

“Why me, not you?” Alex whispers to Willy before his friend gets into the ring.

“Hey, our teacher arrange it according to body size. Take it easy, Al. No one told you to win. We can still get an A with the usual path. But, of course, Leta will probably see you one eye.”

Willy's opponent is bigger than Alex's opponent. The boxer's son sat in a chair under the ring opposite Alex. He waved to her. They know each other. Alex was in a class with him last year. Alex has no intention of winning from him but he also has no intention of letting Leta down.

Dragon Blood could be an ace for him.

Alex takes off Zet-Arm. He did not know how much his energy indicators were now. But, considering that he had never used Dragon Blood at all lately, it should be safe. Besides, he doesn't need much. He just needs a little bit to make his opponent K.O. It's that simple and that hard.

When his opponent made a quick foot move, Alex knew he had no chance of winning. He doesn't know how. At the very least, he could dodge when the opponent held out a fist. Sometimes he moved his head too fast even before the fist came. So far, no one has managed to punch an opponent.

Alex awaits his chance to come while taking refuge behind his hands. For a moment, he thought who was toying with whom. Alex gives a straight punch. When his hand is open, the opponent actually delivers a punch from below while dodging. Alex staggered. Since then, the opponent's blows entered in a row. Alex defended himself as best he could. His ears heard the cheers of the students. Some of them also ridiculed him.

It's just a game Alex said repeatedly in his heart. There was no point in using Dragon Blood. As often as Alex says it, the harder the opponent punches him. In anxiety, his movements even slowed down. A punch hit his chin. Alex felt pain even wearing a protective suit.

Their teacher rang the bell, stating that the match was over.

“What!?” alex protested spontaneously. “I haven't even started!”

He didn't realize how long time had passed. He did not realize that time was running out. But, he realized it was true if declared a loss. Their teacher gave his class their first victory through Willy. The second victory was given to the opponent.

“See on the bright side, our class can still value A!” Willy threw a bottle of water at Alex as the boy came out of the ring.

“This is not fair. I'm not even serious yet.”

“Relax, Al. There will be another time.” Willy drying. He no longer wears his headgear and gloves. “I thought our teacher was just messing around, huh. How to determine the victory of two people? If the condition is like this, so balanced, ‘kan? One win, one lose.”

Alex has no interest in listening to his friend's babble. He's still upset because throughout the game, he just stayed and stayed. At most he had only given three or four strikes, all of them failing.

Alex had no intention of glancing at Leta. With Willy, the two returned to the dressing room.

They took a shower and put on their uniforms again. When Alex put on the Zet-Arm back, he checked his energy indicators. Same thing, still full. There was nothing to worry about because he did not use it at all. He was worried that his abilities were declining. It's been a week without any serious news from the ICPA.

He had received various e-mails regarding the organization and Dragon Blood. Jayden sent it to him so he could learn. He also received several martial arts training videos. That'sallthatis. Alex is hoping for something more. He began to regret why he did not use Dragon Blood in the ring earlier.
