The Zetta Sonic

The Zetta Sonic
Bright Light

If there is a good chance for Alex to test his strength, then there is no more suitable time than this. He was already in the water. It sits between the SM-204 submarine and the yellow-hulled missile. The missile will be************ discharged if it does not act immediately.

‘No choice’ seems to fit in this condition. In that helmet, Alex doesn't have to hide his fears. This situation cornered him. Choices clear. It was either finished off in water by missiles or destroyed along with its counterparts on board. Killed after trying to do something sounds more heroic in Alex's ears. Although he could not deny that the debate inside the submarine just now was not the last thing he wanted to leave behind.

Time moves fast.

Alex spread out both hands. He forced his mind to be filled with various emotions provoking memories. Starting from the memories of his father who was never at home, his mother who he had just seen with other men, Jayden's disappearance before his eyes, the action of Melodiza, as well as some other memories. One of the things that was a bit surprising was Willy.

Fortunately, it worked. There was something stirring within him. Chest thumping. His hands were trembling with anger. His gaze was approached by a green lightning. That was when, he found the conditions around him suddenly bright. It was as if the entire sea was illuminated by floodlights from various sides. There is no more darkness. His eyes can clearly recognize color and shape. Simultaneously, he saw things moving very slowly.

The rudals were slow moving. Much slower. Alex doesn't know what's going on other than that power taking over him. That power has helped him. Raw strength, speed, vision in the dark, as well as Dragon Aura as its peak. From his hands, greenish smoke seeped from his hands, coming out from his gloves. The smoke was swerving. The seemingly impossible thing that happened inside the sea, actually happened before Alex's eyes.

That power incarnated exactly like Alex's shadow. Laser attack. Too bad, the first thing he had to destroy was not a missile but his own gloves. Zet-Arm gives a warning about overcapacity. Tiger's voice shouted in his helmet. Emil muttered indistinctly.

What happened next will never be forgotten.

Strength wails. They jump out of him. A big explosion happened. The six missiles hit him. Explosions happen. Blinding light. Big waves. Painful throws. Taut sounds.

Alex flinching. Both of his hands are still outstretched. His eyes are wide open. The green light doesn't come back. Even so, he knew that his eyes were emitting a green color. Everything came back as it was. The speed at which things move, the dull silence, the force of water pressure. The gloomy atmosphere came overshadowing. The water itself was filled with dirty debris and pieces. Nothing was destroyed but the missile itself.

[What was that?] Tiger's voice was heard for the first time after the explosion.

Behind Alex, the submarine SM-204 is approaching. The floodlights illuminate Alex from behind. Alex knew he had helped his friends.

For the first time in life, Alex doesn't know what to do and what to do at the same time. Its power will not be able to destroy all missiles. But he was able to save his friends. The shield that emerged from Dragon Aura managed to protect himself and his companions.

[I thought he was going to shoot those missiles.] Tiger broke the silence again

Alex turned, but his eyes only found darkness.

Of course, Alex knows. Every time the power of Dragon Aura appeared, he always felt exhausted. It is not surprising that Zet-Arm has warned of overcapacity. Its power can no longer be measured by ICPA technology. So strong that it damaged the uniform on his hands.

His consciousness did not completely disappear. His mind was awake even though his body was unable to move. He sensed some sort of claw coming and brought him closer to the submarine. Emil and Tiger will guard his body when he is no longer able to move. They'll secure it.

His body moved slowly in the water. Alex felt that he was treated so gently as if the claw was afraid that it would damage his body.

It was an amazing thing that he would never think of before. Alex once thought that Dragon Blood might not really be an experimental liquid. Alex is starting to believe in him. Maybe Dragon Blood is some kind of compound. Living things. Able to think, act, desire, and able to take over. It was as if he was the host and the experiment was the parasite.

That thought made a sense of horror move up in his mind. Even more so when he heard the panic of Emil and Tiger.

[What is that? The monster?] Tiger's voice sounded. [You must be kidding me!]

The clamp's moving faster. Alex could feel that he was being pulled faster. However, it is not fast enough to avoid anything that is approaching. His nose smells bad. Death's smell. Alex knew, another prehistoric monster had come at them. No, rather, to him.

[Emil! Faster! Pull Alex up faster!]

[Can't. This is the maximum speed!]

[Then I will shoot!]

[Negative! We're getting too close. The rudder could be about Alex.]

[Give me another solution, Emil!]

[Turn on the thrusters!]

[What?!]

Knowing that their submarine clamping machine can no longer pull Alex in faster, Emil turns on the boat's thrusters. The ship moved while pulling Alex who was outside. Their speed was simply incomparable to that of a large creature that was approaching. They are slower. At least it's definitely better than doing nothing. But they need to do something else to survive.

Alex doesn't understand how he can understand what's going on out there. His eyes are closed. Every inch of his body, that's what it tells. Like the sixth sense. Something he couldn't understand but he could feel the impact.

[Alex, open your eyes!] Tiger shouted in panic.

As if welcoming Tiger's orders, again, he knew what to do. He opened his eyes just as a giant monster was opening its mouth in front of its body.

When he expected Dragon Blood to provide additional power, it did not happen. Alex still can't move. His body refused all orders from his brain. In fact, fear and panic did not manage to send out signals to his body. He's too tired. Alex now just hopes that he sleeps now because he does not want to feel what it feels like to be swallowed by a fish.

And, of course it didn't happen.
