The Zetta Sonic

The Zetta Sonic
Sparks

Jayden fluttered in his bed. He heard all their conversations. Although it sounds like the execution of the defendant using an electric chair, simply put, Zetta Sonic is indeed made in such a way. As badly as Vanessa's doctors hoped to keep Alex out of her room, no one could dwell after Nadria made her decision.

Alex as Zetta Sonic.

Come to think of it, Alex obviously didn't meet any criteria for volunteering. Nadira and professor Otto had previously conducted a search for ICPA agents. Jayden helped them gather data. He knows exactly what they're looking for. Youth with the age of about twenty to thirty years, physically healthy, passed psychological tests, plus have experience in ICPA at least 4 years.

All of those requirements are not excessive at all. Nadira won't let his greatest artificial agent betray him. Switching branches, or worse, becoming their enemy. ICPA is already quite bothered with criminals who use various illegal and deadly tools.

Jayden's hand rubbed his little tools. He opened some criminal files that are still being sought. At least they have three. One villain who always wants to melt the poles with his absurd technology, a mad businessman who wants to rule the world with robots, is also a music lover who likes to hypnotize people. Damon doesn't even count that guy just ruffled their base.

All three people were classified as very dangerous criminals. It takes more than just the police to stop it. That is why the ICPA was formed. In addition, to keep pace with the technology of criminals, they began to develop their own research. ICPA Sinde's branch developed Dragon Blood. The name of the operation is Zetta Sonic.

When Nadira turns his prison sentence into a punishment of devotion in Zetta Sonic, Jayden thinks his job will be boring. He is only responsible for data security. Even if this experiment is successful, Jayden is not sure the time will come quickly. Maybe five years, maybe ten years, maybe this operation will never work. He even laughed when he heard Nadira explain what kind of surgery they were doing.

He's aware of the dangers of the Zetta Sonic operation. It's not about Dragon Blood falling to the wrong person, it's also about killing the wrong person.

The trials have unfolded before my eyes. Volunteers available. Transfusions are already performed even in the context of an accident. Even if Alex is not trained like other ICPA agents, but he has the same chance of life as them. There are no exact numbers on paper.

[Now, is there something you still want to talk about?]

Jayden surprised. He just realized that he had not turned off his relationship to the treatment room. Now, Vanessa's doctor looks at her, waiting for Jayden to say something or give good news after information about Alex's family.

“Do you think Alex will survive, doc?”

Doctor Vanessa let out a long breath. [I dare not comment. This is the first time I've treated a patient like this. I think you know better than me.]

“I'm not a doctor.”

[Indeed. But, you know a little about our mad professor's research. I should have asked. Do you think Alex will survive?]

“I want him to survive.”

[Then make sure he lives.]

“I can borrow a wheelchair, ‘kan?” Jayden wasn't sure he could reach the generator room with a gunshot wound to his thigh at this time.

Doctor Vanessa throws a smile. [All integrated into your network system. Let's just say they're the magic carpet that comes when called.]

Jayden shut down the communications. With his small device, he called an electric wheelchair that had been somehow stored where. The wheelchair enters the room through an automatic sliding door. Jayden moved himself with great difficulty. After successfully sitting down, this was his chance to make things right.

The generator room is on the same floor as the room. He got there in no time. Professor Otto was not surprised by his presence. Caitlin again. The girl was not only shocked by his presence, but also tried to drive him out. However, the professor thought that they might be able to use his presence to monitor the various panels that were there.

Once all is ready, Vanessa's doctor comes along with a capsule containing Alex. After that, Caitlin took over. Doctor Vanessa was forced to leave the room and wait outside the generator room. There's a surveillance room on it. The doctor was waiting there with Nadira and Henrietta.

The generator room itself is divided into two parts. On the outside there is a control room, while the inside is only the generator room itself. Both are round. Alex's capsule was pushed through a short passageway and a three-layered glass door. Caitlin put it right in the middle of that generator room.

The inside wall is concrete coated with special materials. So are the glasses, both the glass from the supervisory room and the glass door that connects the generator room and the control room. The security system is so guarded considering a failure could wipe out their lives.

The control room has complicated panels complete with sophisticated mechanisms. The most prominent thing there was an elongated white tube standing on the left side of the room. That's the electrical indicator that's going to enter the generator room.

Jayden didn't know what to make sure he was going so fast. Once behind the panel, he could only gawk. There are millions of reasons why this operation could fail. His belief that Alex could survive is now gone. Especially when the generator starts.

A dazzling blue light snatched inside the generator room. So blinding that Jayden couldn't see it straight away. He chose to look through the screen near the panel before him. His eyes caught an unfriendly light. His voice sounded so loud when the room should have been airtight enough.

Jayden looked at another screen that clearly displayed Alex's face. The camera panned how Alex opened his mouth to scream. Jayden didn't hear his voice, but he realized that the boy was in pain. He knew that Alex's face that day would never disappear in his mind.

The roar of the generator engine sounded more violent. Light blindly. Unknowingly, Jayden closed his eyes and ears. His body was shaking enough! His heart begged that the operation be stopped immediately. It was the most torturous forty minutes of his life.

The operation was completed in complete darkness.

Jayden found out how the lights that had been brightly lit in the control room had now gone out. The panel in front of him went out. There was no engine roar, only a faint splashing sound accompanied by thin smoke mixed with a charred smell. The light source is just a spark from inside the generator room. Jayden circulated the view, trying to find Caitlin or the professor. It wasn't them he found but Alex.

Alex stood behind his chair, extended a hand, clutching his neck.
