The First

Alex instead of taking another step forward, he began to stagger backwards. The robot next to Alex does not necessarily lower his weapon, still on alert if there is a surprise attack. Even so, Jayden knew that the figure inside the robot would not attack. That figure is now nothing more than a corpse.

“Si— who is he?”

[The one who kidnapped me. I thought he was killed in a plane crash, but he got away.] That's Jayden's answer.

In addition, there was another answer coming from across the street. A man in a suit got out of the car with two gunmen. The car came quietly until Alex was unaware of his arrival.

“He's your umpteenth victim, Zetta Sonic.” The baron gave a different answer than Jayden.

“I think he's your guy?” Alex asked, not believing what he saw and what he had just heard from Jayden. If Jayden's kidnapper is a Baron, then the man inside the gorilla robot is his man.

“Mantan.” Baron chuckles. “By the way, sorry I came late. I didn't hear your desperate screams. I was too busy enjoying the news of the destruction of your beloved school.”

Alex grew furious at Baron's words. He started running. His opponent was unmoved in position, completely unafraid of Alex's arrival. The two guards on his right and left started shooting. Alex doesn't need to avoid. The bullet was simply unable to damage his uniform.

Even so, Baron's smile made him riled up. Alex did the right thing by slowing down. He could see the arrival of another gorilla robot from behind the Baron. It made Alex stop suddenly.

“Why silent, Zetta Sonic?” Baron asked.

Inside his helmet, Alex hears Jayden's warning. [I can't check the inside of the robot, Alex. If there are people inside the robot, too, then] Jayden paused for a moment. [Don't be rash, Alex.]

“Are you afraid of my pet?” The baron asked again. “That's funny. He can't even hurt you one bit. Why are you scared?”

“What have you done, Baron?“ Alex yelling. “You let people die.”

The baron raised his hand, waved it. “No, no. I didn't kill them. You're the culprit. I'm just giving my men the facility to fight you. Is it less powerful too? Wh why? Because you're a monster!”

Alex clenched his hands. He could do it, attacking the Baron's bodyguards then the Baron himself. However, he could not risk injuring innocent people anymore.

“What do you really want? Caitlin?” ask Alex. “He believes in you.”

“This world needs peace and ICPA cannot give it.”

“You make people scared—“

“For them to realize that peace needs a price,” said Baron. “You wasted your strength. Dragon Blood will be much more useful given to the right people.”

“Like you? Don't joke!” Alex stepped forward again and then stopped. He saw the gorilla robot moving forward as well. Now, his position was between himself and the Baron.

Baron smiling. “How about we just play?”

“I'm sick of playing with you!”

“Unfortunately, I am not a person to be rejected.” Baron chuckles. “Let me tell you. I've planted bombs all over the city. They'll explode at the time I specify. It starts at midnight. How many and when will it all explode? Who knows? If I were you, I would hurry to find her.”

“What—“

“This will be a test for the ICPA and for you. Whether you are able to keep this city or not.” The baron turned around. “See you later, Zetta Sonic!”

“Wait!” Alex yelling.

Along with his movements, the gorilla robot came forward. He met Alex halfway before Alex could reach Baron. Meanwhile Baron got into the car along with his two bodyguards.

The robot gorilla raised both hands, about to reach Alex. However, Alex had darted far above him. Now, he also has a booster on his uniform. The rocket planted on the uniform may not be perfect, but it's more than enough for Alex to go after Baron.

From inside the car, one of the bodyguards opened the glass. He fired his gun again at Alex. Of course the attack meant nothing to Alex. The attack was not even able to make blisters on his uniform.

“Do not think you can escape, Baron!”

Alex is about to reach the baron's car when, again, he is struck by something else. There's an explosion nearby. The fire was high. Black smoke rose above the night sky. It made Alex stop.

Not only him, the car stopped. Baron descended, he sauntered leisurely in front of Alex who was still floating in the air. “If you think I'm joking, you better think again. This town is my hostage. You better follow the game.”

“You've gone too far!”

The baron brought his index finger closer to his lips and blew it away as if it was a gun.

Alex finally got there. Finally he let the Baron's car away from him. He can't go after her if he wants to. Serious baron. He took the capital where he lived.

[Alex.]

“Need help?” guess Alex.

[Yes and no.]

“What does that mean?” Alex looked back. He didn't realize that he was far enough away from where his fight was. From his current position, Alex can't see what happened to Jayden or the gorilla robot.

[He ran away.]

“I know.” Alex sighs. “You want me to chase after him? He could have blown up the whole city before his time.”

[Actually not the Baron I was referring to.]

Alex finally understood Jayden's intentions. He saw Jayden's robot standing by the side of the road near his car. One of the robot's hands has vanished somewhere.

[The gorilla robot went to bring a little souvenir.]

“Lose? You must be kidding.”

[Hey, that gorilla robot has a human as its energy source. Just like you, but the amount of energy is obviously different a lot. Marcel, and whoever it was inside the gorilla robot just now, didn't have Dragon Blood.]

“Then, now what?”

[I have to bring this robot home. The thing is, the control of this robot rocket is in that missing hand. I need your help turning on the rocket manual from the panel on his back.]

“Terus?”

[Keep we'll all be overtime to find out where the bomb was planted. Dare bet, there's one in town hall.]

Alex snorted in annoyance. He obeyed Jayden's instructions to ignite the robot's rocket. The robot nodded at him and thanked him before finally hovering in the middle of the night sky.

From Zet-Arm, Alex knows their time is not much. It's almost midnight. Just a few hours later the bomb planted by the Baron will start to explode. Alex agrees with Jayden. To spread fear, the Baron must have placed bombs in iconic places. City Hall is one of his strongest candidates. In addition, there are several more places that may be targeted by the Baron.
