Jayden obviously needs to stop making other people think. Sometimes, he's too honest.

“Don't think too much about that, Alex.” Doctor Vanessa got out of the elevator and walked towards them. He dragged a large purple suitcase while carrying a lighter fluffy mocha coat. “I'll miss you guys.”

“International conference,” Further Alex. He remembered that Vanessa's doctor said he had been waiting for the conference for months.

“Art and mysterious goods lovers conference. The name is more popular,” continued doctor Vanessa. Then, he added again, “But, we all know that this meeting is the ICPA.” Golden Cell Conference

The conference is an annual ICPA event. Attended by people behind the scenes from various branches of ICPA throughout the city. It was not the field agents who were invited to this event but the workers behind the scenes like Emil. The young man can't lie if he wants to go there. He even thought about negotiating with Nadira. Jayden banned it.

Nadira asked the doctor to be the only representative of the Special Force, given that so far his work is more quiet than others. Doctor Vanessa really doesn't like that reason. Although so far almost all of Alex's health problems are related to the generator room, that doesn't mean he's not needed. On the other hand, the doctor himself wanted to be there.

At the conference, many experts from various fields will be present. They can all exchange ideas about the development of the ICPA. Unmitigated, this event will be held for one full week, aka seven days and eight nights.

Professor Otto was initially one of Nadira's strong candidates to attend there. When Nadira opened the Special Force presence in front of ICPA leaders on six other continents, he changed his mind. It was not impossible that professor Otto was asked to divulge the Dragon Blood formula at the conference. It is no secret that every branch of the ICPA, especially the continental level, competes over who is better at securing its territory. Nadira also changed the choice to the beautiful doctor.

“I'll bring souvenirs for you guys.” Doctor Vanessa couldn't get rid of the big smile on her face. “Do you guys have any special request?” As if to realize, the doctor added again, “Oh, what I was thinking. You must have been there many times, Alex. Maybe I should learn from you.”

Alex frowning. “Where is the conference?”

“The most beautiful city in the world, Sirthalia.”

Jayden whistling. “The number one dating destination combined with the heavy talk of geniuses.”

Jayden's response did not provoke the doctor's shock. Two out of ten workers behind the ICPA screen will refuse to be sent there. Jayden was one of the two. He prefers to accompany Alex through complicated missions rather than getting caught up in complicated conversations. As a person who has been at odds with the ICPA, he does not like when his case is discussed there.

Jayden never said that to Alex. The boy would never have thought that Jayden was involved in a case that had shocked the world a few years ago. Alex doesn't need to know, not for now.  After all, according to Jayden, it will not add any positive effects.

“I've never been there,” I'm Alex.

“Really? I thought your mother went there a lot,” said Dr. Vanessa.

“Iya. Over the past year, he has been there a lot because of the film. But, I've never been there.” Alex no longer follows all of his mother's activities. Not that he doesn't care, he still cares but is no longer as curious as he once was. “I wonder what place it really fits for romantic movies.”

Jayden believes there's a reason behind Alex's remarks. “The place has many delicious restaurants, delicious food, star hotels, artistic city planning, and of course many romantic photo spots. Says it's a place to grow a couple's love.” Jayden chuckled at his own words. Not something he believes in.

“I know.”

This time, Vanessa's doctor was able to catch a bit of an awkwardness in Alex's speech. The boy was not bothered by Jayden's explanation, nor did he show the slightest hint of arrogance. It was as if Alex was just talking and waiting for others to support the remark. In this case, Jayden stated what he himself knew. A romantic city, a romantic movie, and an actress with no family.

“There's a problem, Alex?” ask Dr. Vanessa. He does not like where his own thinking leads him. “There's something you're worried about?”

Jayden sneering.

“I'll let you know that later I've eaten.” Doctor Vanessa winks one eye. “So, what souvenirs do you want?” He turned to Jayden.

“New idea for new weapon.” Jayden knew there would be a lot of development being shared there. He doesn't need to be present. He just wants to know what's going on in other parts of the world.

“Actually, maybe more of them are asking me. You guys get it, ‘kan? The appearance of Zetta Sonic became a warm conversation in various other branches of ICPA. They were trying to guess what the secret behind it was. Fortunately, Nadira sent me. I won't be able to answer their questions even if I want to. You can't divulge things you don't know.” Doctor Vanessa giggled. “So, I think it's time to go.”

They looked at Tiger. The big man was standing next to their white SUV. He spontaneously glanced at the watch in his hand.

“Try not to make a mess,” doctor Vanessa said again to Alex. Then, he said to Jayden. “Dan, take care of your sister, okay?”

Alex and Jayden exchanged looks.

“Up to two more weeks, kids!” Doctor Vanessa gave a smile before turning away.

“Enjoy your days, doc!” reply Jayden.

They saw how Tiger put the doctor's stuff in the car. He was sitting behind the wheel, next to the doctor. The car turned around and went out through one of the seven doors. Alex and Jayden watched the car until it disappeared from view.

“Two weeks?” Alex broke the silence first. “I thought the conference was only a week.”

“Indeed. But, Nadira said that he sent Vanessa's doctor to do something else there. Something to do with social action and hospitals. He didn't tell me details. So, for a while, try not to get hurt. I do not like the doctors at ICPA central.”

“Why?”

“Many reasons.” Jayden turned to the other side of the room. He led them to step towards one of the garage doors containing two other cars inside.

“Actually, you never told me about it.”

“What's the problem?”

“Everything. About yourself.”

“You won't be interested,” replied Jayden of origin.

“I don't know if anyone ever said you were a bad liar.”

Jayden put his shoulder down, no matter what. “Come, it's time you came home!”
