The Zetta Sonic

The Zetta Sonic
Make Up

The conversation ended there. They reached the hotel where Jayden would wait later. They went into a rented room. The room is on the fourth floor. The room has no views of the beach but has views of the resort right next to it.

They could see how the resort servants prepared a party on the large wooden deck that directly connected to the beach. The torches have been prepared complete with a dining table and a music stage. It wasn't as big as Alex's shadow. Maybe the party was just a private party considering that the invited guests were no more than a hundred people.

Tiger and Caitlin joined them. Caitlin adorns Alex deftly. He added the spots on his cheeks also paired golden-colored curly wigs. When he looked at himself in the mirror, Alex couldn't even believe it was him. Although Caitlin does not like him, according to Alex, he does his job very well.

As if he could read Alex's mind, Caitlin chattered. “That description doesn't guarantee your identity is safe. Stay away from people as much as possible.”

Tiger is flicking his lips. “He always knows what he's doing, Cait. Let it go.”

Alex did not respond. He was still observing himself. His clothes have been replaced with a long-sleeved shirt, a black vest, and a bow tie. He can blend easily. The problem now remains how Alex recognizes the killer robot there. In theory, the robot must be near its master.

By nightfall, Alex moves to the resort. He entered through the back lane, where the garbage cans lined up with the employees' motorcycles. Jayden led the way so as not to meet many people. This time Jayden hacked the surveillance system instead of using his tiny drone again.

Alex got into the party easily. He did not deny that he was very fluttering. Thanks to his lying habit, Alex can cover it up well. The tray with the drink in his hand did not shake. He can even offer drinks to invited guests well. This is only done until their target is seen. No need to wait long, Oliver Button the model also appeared while holding two beautiful women in mini dresses.

By then, all the guests were present. Alex sneaks into the crowd toward the edge of the deck, where Oliver Button also goes. Alex hides himself behind an overhanging wall. From his position, Alex could see how the model left the two women with him and went straight towards a large man wearing black.

[Follow him!] Jayden's voice rang out in his ears straight away.

This time, Alex is wearing wireless earphones with different shapes. ICPA prepares these earphones to resemble the earphones used by the servants and security guards there. The shape reminds Alex of the security section that used to stand guard at concerts or top star bodyguards.

Both men left the deck. Alex waited for a moment before following the two. He circulated his gaze, assuring himself that he was not being watched. They entered an area filled with tropical flower pot decorations. Alex could hear the faint sound of water. Not the sound of the beach but the sound of water flowing like a river or fountain.

Alex keeps himself in the dark. He also made sure not to get too close. As far as his observations were concerned, his position should be safe. He stopped near a large, broad-leaved pot. Alex clasped himself against the wall while squinting his eyes towards another large area below the resort

This area is a spa and sauna area. One of its walls drains water directly into the pool below. The pool itself was one meter wide and extended backwards. Koi fish swim quietly in it. Oliver Button walks on a prominent chunk of rock above the pool to reach the terrace of the spa room on the right side.

[I can't see what's going on. CCTV is dead.]

“I can,” reply Alex barely making a sound.

He saw Oliver Button meet a big man in a suit. His hand held the cigar which was still burning. Around them there were at least three people in suits anyway, each wearing earphones. Four guards, a salesman, a container.

“What should I do?” alex whispered again.

[Hey, I explained it to you. Take necklace.]

[Then do something, Killer Bee!]

“Stop calling me that.”

[I'll stop calling you that once you can be a real Zetta Sonic.]

Alex knew it wasn't a good time to argue. Oliver Button is still talking to his current buyer. But, it won't last long. He had to do something before the transaction was completed. Jayden wasn't with him. So did Tiger or Caitlin. He's totally alone.

For a moment, Alex regretted being stuck in such a state. Usually at this hour he is at home, enjoying a delicious dinner and preparing to play games until night. If only he could choose, he would not be there right now. If only he could choose.

At that time, Alex realized that he had a choice. Instead, he was faced with a lot of choices. He could also have pretended to approach while bringing a drink, unfortunately he had left his tray behind. He could have just snatched away once Oliver gave the necklace, apparently not a wise choice. He can also shoot, but it will obviously be bad.

Alex looked around, looking for ideas. When he started getting some good ideas, a bad premonition filled his mind. Alex heard a faint sound between the falls of the water. Insect buzzing. Not mosquitoes, not flies, but bees.

“Jayden, does Dragon Blood make me immune to disease?”

[What do you mean? Of course not. You're not knife-resistant, you're not blast-resistant, and you're definitely not bullet-resistant. If it's poison, maybe the story will be a little different. Why did you suddenly ask that?]

“I think there are bees near me.”

[Then? Just ignore. Focusing on your first mission, Killer Bee ..] Jayden fell silent, suddenly remembering Alex's alias name and why the bees were upset.

“I'm allergic.”

Alex remembers being stung by bees as a child. She remembers her pain and how she woke up in the hospital. His father appeared for a while, coming with an anxious look. His mother panicked and forced her to sleep there that night. Alex doesn't remember how it went, but he does remember that from then on, his family's personal doctor told him to avoid the bees. It's not about hives, it's about life and death.

[Wait a minute. I'll try to monitor the bee's whereabouts from here. Hopefully I can find it from the sound-frequency]

“No need.”

[Why? What's going on, Alex?]

“I've found it. He's already dead. Just now.”

[Oh, great. One problem is solved.]

“Actually not too. The poor bee was roasted in the head of the killer robot.”
