ZETTA SONIC'S
Second Arc: The Brotherhood
A loud knock on the room door made the Rover bark hard. Alex was shocked by it. The rottweiler came to the door wagging his tail. He knew breakfast was coming.
“I'm in, Alex!” the shrill voice of Mrs. Bellsey sounded along with the door that opened. “You know what time it is!?”
Alex jumped out of bed. “Ya, yes. I know.”
Alex has been wearing a uniform. He also realized he should have gone down to have breakfast half an hour ago. Now, the supervisor and a maid came to bring her morning meal and Rover to the room. Mrs. Bellsey and Preston prefer their employers down to the dining room. Alex himself also agreed with their idea. He had absolutely no intention of falling asleep while reading the book.
Alex puts his book in the nightstand before grabbing the backpack and squandering into the other room. The room is indeed divided into two parts, three actually if we count the bathroom as well. The other two sections are a room for sleep and a room for learning.
Alex has always been proud of his computer. It's not just because he's got a giant screen with two support screens or a lot of game consoles. He was always proud of his sophistication. More than that, he himself built it.
Mrs. Bellsey ruffled her waist beside the coffee table. The waiter had put his morning meal there. “Too many plays Drake and His Land last night?”
“Eeee... Yes!” Alex answered the origin. He knew clearly that answer was more soothing to his supervisor than telling him that he stayed up late reading books about rifles and how to use them. “Do not worry, Mrs. Bellsey's. I've done all my work. I assure you, as always I will also get perfect scores in today's quiz.”
“Hopefully it is not just your lie, young man.”
“Of course not. You're too smart to lie to me.” It was clearly nothing more than a prank and a prick. Alex lied repeatedly and nobody knew. That's a skill that clearly does not need to be boasted especially. Alex dropped himself on the couch. His hand was ready to grab the sandwich on the table.
“You've washed your hands?”
Mrs Questions. Bellsey stunned him for a moment. “I'll be back soon.”
Alex went to the bathroom to wash his hands. He passed by the maid waiting for Rover to finish her breakfast. The dog ate quickly and quickly. Just like the master, the Rover's food was arranged. The dog should be ready for action at any time.
The manor where Alex lives has more than one dog. As Alex recalled, they had at least four Doberman Pinschers and two German Shepherds. Rover's different. Basically, the main job of protecting Alex is not protecting the house. That's also why the Rover can sleep in Alex's room. After the meal, Rover follows Alex back to the couch. He sat quietly, waiting in case Alex would share his meal.
Alex shakes. “No, Rover. You have training this afternoon.” Alex started to enjoy eating the next morning.
“Dan, you have many additional courses,” Mrs said. Bellsey's.
“Iya, right. Me too.” Alex said softly. The mission of the ICPA made him disappear for days from home. Now, Mrs. Bellsey was working hard so he could catch up with all his lags. Including piano lessons that he didn't like very much.
“Then, there is a camping event this week.”
Mrs. Bellsey shook her head. “You must learn responsibility for yourself, Alex. You can't rely on others to remind you. School events, course schedules, homework, quizzes, and more. You're not a kid anymore. Later you will realize how cruel the world is.”
“I know. Thanks for reminding me, Mrs. Bellsey.”
Alex has experienced it firsthand. Repeatedly. Last week. Before his thoughts moved any further, Alex immediately finished his morning meal, and left for school.
The repair of the Zetta Sonic Special Force base will take an indefinite amount of time. According to Jayden, Sonic won't be showing up for a while. It's time to make up for the time that's been lost. Alex never expected to miss friends, the excitement of them playing together, the lunch chat, even their annoying and unfriendly teacher.
The school is located in the middle of the city. There are only two categories of people who can go to school there. One, rich kid. Two, son of state officials. This school not only emphasizes their curriculum but also their security. Not just anyone can get in and out. The criminals would think twice about kidnapping the students of Wood Peak School.
As an elite school, each class only had less than twenty students with different expert teachers in each of its subjects. They teach children from twelve to eighteen years old. Their uniforms are also made by famous designers. Black blazer, matching cloth pants, light blue shirt, equipped striped tie and embroidery school emblem. Alex never took issue with his uniform. He never admired her either.
Alex's mother, Alicia Remnant, who usually comes home once a month has just opened a boutique. Alex remembers how his mother once praised the school uniform. For Alex, as long as it's comfortable to wear, that's enough. Alex prefers to admire his school program.
Unlike the school in general, Wood Peak teaches many things to its students. Regardless of whether it is a sense of responsibility so that students can protect themselves or a reason to increase tuition. Alex is always looking forward to Self-Defense classes held once a week, every Tuesday after lunch. Despite the name Self-Defense, they were once taught to shoot.
If you remember, Alex shot accurately at that time. The teacher praised him. He doesn't know that Alex has learned it himself. It's not that hard. In retrospect, Alex once saw his father practicing shooting in the backyard of a manor. At the time, he was a child. It seems like you haven't even graduated from elementary school. Who would have thought that his father was training as the head of the ICPA.
Alex sighed as he recalled his father. At least, now he knows his father's job. He wants to know more.
“Tuan.”
Alex glanced at the driver in his car. The driver saw it too. At that time, Alex only realized that he had arrived at school. “True. We have arrived.” Alex got off with a bag. He was observing the magnificent school building.
The school looks just like any other school. Height and width with lots of glass. It looks modern but nothing compared to ICPA building. Alex begins to wonder how the ICPA building central Sinde. ICPA has at least one building in the capital like this. I should have thought Alex.
Occasionally, he glanced at Zet-Arm in hand. The indicator shows that the energy is still full. School will not consume energy. There's nothing to worry about. He also did not have to worry about his value. Frequent truancy does not affect its value. If there is anything to worry about now it seems like only the lunch menu is not good. And, one more, the schoolmate.
Like any other school, Wood Peak also had powerful students and trouble makers. Alex sees a boy bigger than her clutching the collar of another smaller student.
Alex nodded as he approached. “This never changes, yes.”
