The Zetta Sonic

The Zetta Sonic
Red Dot

If I could choose, Alex would definitely not choose Caitlin. When considering Caitlin's lunge in videos and mission reports, Alex can't deny that Caitlin is a good agent. He repeatedly completed the mission well, whether it be a field agent or just a supporter. No wonder she's the only female agent who can be involved in the Special Force.

Alex is wearing a Zetta Sonic uniform again. The uniform felt so comfortable. The feeling was exactly like the first time he wore it. Not warm is cold. There is also a refreshing aroma that is difficult to describe. Everything feels close, of course it will be more complete if Jayden's voice that he heard at this time.

[All the electricity in the front building is off.] Emil's voice echoed there.

“We already know that. Where is Rando? Ground floor?” caitlin Sahut.

[We don't know where he is. Surveillance cameras. Heat detector. Infrared. All dead. He could be anywhere. We need a little time to restart the system. One hundred and twenty seconds. Maximum.]

“It was quite long,” protest Caitlin.

[Don't protest at me. That's another operator's power area. Not me.]

“Tell them to make it forty seconds!” Caitlin turned to the figure sheathed in black clothes beside her. “How, Alex? We split?” asked Caitlin who she answered herself. “Wait. No. gabe. That's not wise.”

Alex did not answer. He still had a hard time believing himself to be running side by side with Caitlin. It was like acting with the enemy. He can be attacked at any time. Their debate before leaving the room made his anxiety increase. If Rando were to appear at this time, then there would be three camps. Alex doesn't believe he can trust Caitlin. Alex shook his head, trying to suppress his fear.

They walked down the hall and passed the stairs quickly. Somehow the stairs are always more reliable in these conditions. They were welcomed back into the hallway. This time, the lights there were flashing again as if telling them they were in the right place.

Caitlin saw Rando first. The man with the iron arm was clutching the neck of an agent. Dark situation. They could only recognize it from the iron arm that glittered in the dark. Without any warning, Caitlin opened fire. He intentionally made her miss. The gunshot caused Rando to release the agent. When the body fell to the ground, Caitlin fired the next shot. Rando resisted the attack with his iron hand.

That's where Alex was wondering if only they were allowed to use laser weapons. Laser attacks cannot be resisted by an iron fist. Different from a bullet like that. Especially at this time, Caitlin used an anesthetic bullet. They're tasked with capturing Rando alive instead of dead. But, of course the ICPA would not mind the injured Rando. The thing is, capturing Rando is a little harder than expected.

Alex jumped quite far ahead of Rando. Although in the dark, Alex saw how his opponent had swerved. Alex's fist came without her expecting it. Again, he resisted the attack by crossing an iron hand in front of his chest. Alex's attack failed, only managing to push him a little.

“Halo, Zetta Sonic.” Rando didn't sound scared or impressed.

“You have the guts to also come here, Rando.” Alex retorted while ignoring the warning that appeared on the uniform's helmet. There was always a warning when he met Rando. The ICPA system recognizes him as a dangerous figure. He knows that too.

Rando smiling. “I'm looking for you.”

Alex doesn't like that saying and smiling. He preferred it even more when he saw Rando pull out a long dagger. From such a close distance, Alex sure saw his dagger sparkling bluish with a hissing sound. As Alex recalled, it was the dagger that managed to injure his combat uniform. He also jumped back.

“Who sent you here?” alex asked while keeping his distance. “Money or fame?”

Rando narrowed his eyes. “How about fun?”

“Decension.” Rando commented before catapulting himself at the opponent.

Alex staggered backwards. Rando gave a consecutive attack with his legs. The spinning kick was perfect. Luckily Alex is ready. Sometimes he backs up or heads down. Rando pulled out his knife and Alex caught the hand.

“You're growing.” The praise came from Rando without the slightest impression of praise.

The look they meet. The faces of the two were quite close. Alex could see the scars there. Rando's eyes narrowed. There is an inexplicable killer. Alex feels. He couldn't stop himself as he shuddered in horror. I don't know how many people died after seeing those eyes.

“I did not receive praise from opponents.” Alex retaliates. His voice came out without trembling. He was sure Rando would not feel his fear.

Rando pushed his hand on Alex's body. Alex tried to push back but less quickly this time. His knife scratched the outer uniform. Warnings also appeared. His combat uniform system indicated the presence of broken parts. So far, only the outside. Alex has to stop him if he doesn't want it to continue.

“Away from him!” Caitlin yells.

Different from before, Caitlin did not hesitate to shoot. He doesn't need to fire warning shots. He also doesn't care if Alex gets shot. He just wanted to catch Rando. The shot should have hit the opponent's head had Rando not fended him off with a hand. Again.

“Bothers must be removed.” That's all Rando said before he left Alex.

“Go from there!” Replace Alex yelling at Caitlin.

Men running on Caitlin. While the girl fluttered in her position while continuing to shoot. When Catilin realized that her attack was fruitless, she was too late. Rando grabbed her by the neck and pushed her against the wall. Rando's hand was still clutching the huge dagger. The lights are on at the right time. Caitlin saw the threat. He caught Rando's hand before he could finish it.

Rando. “I've seen you.”

“I've shot you.” Caitlin spoke though a little difficult.

Rando narrowed his eyes, seemingly trying to digest the girl's words. Caitlin didn't try to escape. His hand had taken another gun. He also opened fire. From such a close distance, Rando had trouble dodging. Rando just hit his opponent's hand. His shot hit Rando's body but it didn't pay off.

Realizing this, Caitlin kicked. This time, he broke away. He rolled on the floor to pick up his rifle. Then, hurriedly keep a distance in order to shoot again.

“Sniper, eh?” Rando chuckles.

Caitlin doesn't like it when your opponent laughs like that. It felt like his ability was being laughed at. He was determined to stop the laughter and throw Rando in jail. Unfortunately as long as he did not know which body part was not coated in iron, his attacks would never knock down an opponent.

Rando. At that moment, he realized that he had stepped on a tiny object. A round black object as small as a button that flashes red.
