The Zetta Sonic

The Zetta Sonic
Drivers

Being on the winning side is always fun. Meaning, ICPA. Not Alex. Alex did not deny that he was happy because Dragon Blood did not act this time. Even so, his mission was tinged with debate and the escape of the Gavin River. Jayden chose to ignore the problem of reliable male agents from the Regis branch of ICPA. He didn't really hinder their mission. Even so, Jayden still reported everything to Nadira.

Alex can relax at home finished that mission. Maybe he'll fall asleep in class tomorrow. Unfortunately, for Jayden and Tiger, they still have to continue their duties even after returning Alex to his home.

The two were in the car when they were talking to Nadira. The face of the female leader ICPA Sinde appeared on the screen in the SUV. His voice was always unfriendly. He didn't even ask why Jayden was holding onto white stuff that would sometimes spark electricity.

With help from another ICPA colleague, Jayden managed to get his drone back. He was eager to return to headquarters immediately. Unfortunately, since Tiger still had to return Alex home, he ended up circling around first before being able to use the central ICPA warehouse that did have complete equipment.

In the end, they also destroyed the killer robot factory. The blast was muffled because it was underground. Of course, the plant on its top was impacted. So far, the factory has graced the news under the title electric short circuit. ICPA managed to hide the real reason. As always.

Nadira himself considered their mission tolerable. [I've had this kind of report repeatedly. The main mission was successfully completed. Another secret emerged. This triggers another mission. Usually, it is more dangerous than the first mission.]

“Intel didn't tell us about the new robot,” Jayden replied.

[Really. We came on time. I should praise Jayden this time. You managed to copy their data, even upload it to ICPA-owned servers via a special line. I'll have the researchers check it out.]

Tiger chose not to answer. He glanced at Jayden beside him.

Jayden glanced back at him. “What? I did a good job, he said.”

“Iya. Good work.” Tiger repeated Nadira's words. He had no intention of talking about it at all. He's more interested in the drone in Jayden's lap. The drone could be more promising as a killer robot than Filip Shah's. It is smaller in size, can sneak around unnoticed, and can be carried everywhere.

[I want you to continue your Zetta Sonic training. Continue the second stage of training, Tiger. The boy is under you. Make sure he excels in close combat. I saw the video. Sad move. Absolutely disgraceful.]

“I'll try everything I can. But, swords are not my forte.”

[I'll think about it. We have some other agents who are quite promising when dealing with weapons. I love the idea of professor Otto giving Alex a sword. Maybe next time he can give her a shield.]

“That's Jayden. Idea Jayden.” Tiger rectifying.

[By the way, how about Caitlin's replacement?]

Jaydean played his eyeballs while sighing. “Still observation stage.”

Jayden's answer made Nadira immediately glare. His voice also increased. [Say if you haven't done anything about it! You slackers! Is it hard to find someone as smart as him at the ICPA? We have a lot of agents like that. Tiger, hit him! Teach him a lesson.]

“I'm driving,” replied Tiger briefly.

Jayden wouldn't waste his energy arguing. Nadira's statement is right on one thing and wrong on another. The ICPA does have a lot of agents as smart as Caitlin as well as an interest in experiments. The main problem is not in ability. The main problem lies with the professor himself. Sometimes the crazy ideas amaze people. Including himself.

[I want a written report on this mission to be completed before lunch. Understood?]

“Understanding,” replied Jayden. The question was directed at him. He was always in charge of making written reports for Zetta Sonic. Originally, he had thought that he could divide this task with Caitlin, unfortunately conditions were not possible.

Nadira cut off the communication connection, the conversation ended there.

“You're serious about Caitlin's replacement?” Tiger didn't let the car go quiet.

“Nadira and Otto are both serious about it.”

“That's not what I mean. I saw one of his names. I'm sure you know who I mean. The strange boy.”

“Emil? She's my favorite.”

“He will make professor Otto die faster.”

While Tiger was serious with his warning, Jayden instead burst into laughter. “Come on, he won't be that bad. He will match Alex.”

“More with you. Don't think I don't know if you're trying to find a personal assistant in this situation, J. You are looking for a friend to be in the same boat.” Tiger sighs. “This is not a warning or advice. I just want you to realize the strangeness. The boy may be smart, but he's still weird.”

“I know. That'll make him fit in with professor Otto. Besides, I just need to leave some names to the professor. Anyone who will be an assistant will be directly selected by him. The decision in the professor's hands is not my hand.”

Tiger nodded. “True. Then, the other names should also be on your side. You're looking for people with professor criteria and according to your taste. Smart. Nadira should have expected this.”

“Isn't that the point? Nadira wants someone who understands the Zetta Sonic experiment and technology. Someone who can be the bridge between me and professor Otto. Someone who might be able to help me create new weapons to deal with the killer robots that escaped.”

“At last you talked about that. Nadira said he would have the ICPA keep an eye out for any strange movements in the capital. It's very likely they're here. Why do you think they made that? Prototype?”

Jayden shakes. “I'm afraid of more than that.” The four robots Jayden saw at the factory were not something that could be made as good as a heart and handed over to someone else. “I think there are two possibilities. One, Filip invented it so he had an US card. Killer robots are the most superior among other killer robots. Not for sale. Collections items.”

“Second possibility?”

“Simple only. He made it to kill someone. Do you remember how the other three robots escaped? Here's my guess. They are designed with three priorities. First priority, obey the master's orders. Second priority, kill the target. Third priority, take care of themselves so as not to get caught.”

“What is bad news?”

“Tell me what the bad news is. There are three robots out there. It means there's three targets being targeted."
