According to Alex, Caitlin had a good reason. So did he. He also had enough reason to suspect the Baron's presence there. However, he did not have the energy to argue. Alex immediately returned to his room after they returned to the headquarters.

Her body was carefree, her head was dizzy, her stomach was nauseous. Not to mention his hand hurt. He needs rest. However, his mind was awake. Stuck between gratitude for being alive and resentment for not being able to complete the mission well. For Alex, this mission ended not with the score he wanted.

Alex opened his eyes. The light in the room is minimal. Jayden was also kind enough to make it turn orange. The color felt warm, like the color of his room lamp. Everything was done in the hope that he could fall asleep faster. Reality says something else. Alex gnashing. Wet eyes.

His mind was repeating the events he had just experienced. Every time that memory came, his memories always stopped on the two people he managed to stop. He remembered how they had looked before they died. He clearly remembered the color of the blood hitting the snow. He remembered the scent of blood mixed with the fishy scent. Not bad memories but terrible memories. Body vibrates. Not just because of the cold. She's afraid.

Alex thought back to his father. If it wasn't for dad, he wouldn't be stuck in such a state. He must be at home, playing with friends or watching, not stranded in the basement.

Refusing to cry, Alex woke up. His hand felt the wound. One week had not passed, his hand was already injured again. Today it's his hand, maybe another part of his body. Fortunately his mind had not wandered too far. The door to his room was opened.

“Hai, Alex. I know you're still awake.” Doctor Vanessa steps in with the evaporating Jayden. “Nadira wants to talk to you. Looks like the ICPA is holding an emergency meeting right now. Since I'm your doctor, I can decide whether or not you can afford to come along. Personally, I want you to rest. How about you?”

Jayden stood next to Vanessa's doctor, yawned again, then said, “If you feel unwell, Vanessa's doctor can protect you from Nadira.”

“I can't sleep. I don't think there's any harm in talking to him now.” Alex put his shoulders back, remembering that he didn't have much of a chance to talk to their leader.

Doctor Vanessa puts her hand on Alex's forehead. “Your temperature has not come down. I'm also pretty sure that Nadira's scolded experience wasn't a pleasant one. You still want to meet him?”

Alex nodded once.

“Don't worry, doc,” says Jayden. “I'll accompany Alex.”

Doctor Vanessa glanced at Jayden as if to doubt him, not his seriousness but his ability. If anyone can make Nadira explode many times, Jayden is definitely the person. Even so, the doctor kept smiling. “Don't make my patient's condition worse. I'm serious about that.”

Jayden and Alex move into his room. Alex moved slowly, ignoring all the restless feelings and his uneasy body. Even more so when they get there and Jayden asks him to wear the Zetta Sonic uniform. Not only was he a little suspicious, he knew something was going to happen. Let's hope it's not something bad.

Alex stopped before wearing a helmet that was still in the form of headphones. He observed how Jayden also changed clothes. Jayden wore a long-sleeved white suit complete with boots. The top is similar to a high-necked motorcycle jacket. The four buttons are lined up diagonally following the model of his jacket. His arm has a part that is bent out. There are some green accents on the edges and shoulders. The size is so snug on the body, making Jayden look neat and dashing. The young man also brushed his hair before turning on the computer.

“What is this a bad sign?” ask Alex. The Zetta Sonic helmet was still in his grasp.

“Don't mind me. I only wear uniforms if I'm told.”

“We will be meeting with Nadira?”

“So, this place will be crowded, eh?”

“I'm not sure considering Nadira has only assigned a few people to start this Zetta Sonic operation. We can expect two or three new members. More than that? I'm not sure. After all, he asked you to come to a meeting while wearing a uniform. Nadira doesn't want anyone to see your face or recognize you.”

“True. I think it's better that way.”

The most important thing right now is to find a replacement for Caitlin. Not everyone has the full package of abilities like him. And, the hardest, is obviously looking for people who can put up with professor Otto.”

Alex frowning. “Caitlin? Out?”

“You think he's not serious about what he says?”

Alex did not answer. He was pretty sure to be one of the reasons for the girl to come out. Even so, Alex did not intend to revoke the following words of suspicion to Caitlin. According to him, the baron was involved. If that's true, they're all in danger. If not, they will soon be in danger.

Jayden moves in front of Alex. “Do not think about him.”

“I don't think about Catilin. I'm more thinking about Baron.”

“Then, same.”

“Not did you say he was innocent?”

Jayden smiled curtly as he folded his hands to the front of his chest. “I never said he was innocent. We just don't have any evidence that he's guilty. I think he's suspicious even though I'm not sure what the motive is. I'll investigate as soon as possible.”

Alex nodded. “What should I do?”

“About this? No one!” Jayden grunting tickled. He picked up the white gloves and started wearing them. “Your job as Zetta Sonic is to catch the dangerous criminals that are roaming around.  Your job is to find the criminals to stop you. So, as long as there is no concrete evidence about Baron, you better worry about the others.”

Alex fell silent.

Jayden awaits that the child in front of him will respond. However, it seems that Alex is not eager to make any jokes. It must be a physical problem that is not happening. “Alright, when it's ready, I'll start the communication path.”

Jayden returned to his seat. Alex is wearing a headset. In an instant, his head was covered in Zetta Sonic's helmet. He began to get used to the screen which is now a substitute for his vision. Alex moved beside Jayden who was sitting on the chair, while he himself stood in his place.

“We will enter after they allow us to enter.”

The large screen in front of Jayden shows the ICPA emblem in the form of shields and stars. There was a circular line being circled around him. At the bottom there is a statement that the meeting is running and they will soon be allowed to join. No need to wait a long time, they were also allowed in the meeting. Alex immediately realized what kind of meeting they were attending.
