Whatever Nadira's reason, now they have priority to save Jayden alive. A wide grin appeared on Tiger's face. Emil himself commented on the smile Alex had never seen before. Alex himself smiled wryly. Although no one gave a respectful pose to the supreme leader, Nadira gave a steady nod.

Nadira also gave orders. [Alex, you're tasked with destroying professor Otto's monster. Do it quickly before taking a loss of life, because the location is near the crowd. After the meeting with Nadira, Alex had to admit that he was really tired. Physically, too, psychically. She needs sleep and an apology to make her mind relieved. He waited while staying alone with Emil. Tiger left them to take care of professor Otto's handover with the central agent.

In the hallway to the generator room, Alex opens a conversation. “You know, some time ago I considered only Jayden worthy to be the operator of Zetta Sonic. But, what you did in school, it was amazing.”

“Just do as I've learned,” reply Emil. “In manual book.”

Alex was curious about the manual that Emil mentioned. Sometimes, he had trouble distinguishing when Emil was joking and serious. Putting aside his curiosity, Alex continued the conversation bluntly.

“I'm sorry. I've been rude to you.”

“I don't remember,” replied Emil honestly.

“I underestimated you. Sorry if it hurt your feelings.”

“It happens a lot. I'm used to.” Emil spoke without even looking at his opponent. They walked slowly in the deserted hallway. The only witnesses to the conversation were clearly just the green light that accompanied the trip.

Feeling less taken seriously, Alex stopped. The movement did not necessarily make his partner stop.

“What I did did not deserve to happen to a colleague,” Alex said.

Emil stop. He turned away too. “We are partners. Stuck in the same work environment.”

Alex shakes. He realized that he had learned quickly. The proof, he could repeat the talk he got from doctor Vanessa. “We're family. I'm sorry I said rude to you. And, no one should get used to being underestimated like that.”

“People think I'm weird. I don't like to talk. Things that interest me are always considered strange.”

“You're a victim of bully?”

Emil shrugged his shoulders. “I tried to forget that.”

For the first time, Alex realized how powerful the young man in front of him was. He might not be as smart as Jayden or as strong as Tiger. However, Emil had been standing alone for a long time. Surviving all the scorn he got. Whether it's from a friend, an ICPA colleague, or even his family. Considering Nadira talked about erasing someone's identity, it was clear in Alex's mind that Emil might be doing it.

Alex held out a hand.

Emil responds briefly. His gaze descended from Alex's face on the outstretched right hand.

Emil's hands are thinner and colder than Alex thought. The fingers are not smooth, but they are so rough. There were even some scuff marks. If you look again, Alex even found there are still plaster wounds on some fingers.

“Memories while fixing Jason?” guess Alex when they get back on their way.

“New weapon?”

“Jayden made you shield.”

“Oh.” Alex doesn't sound disappointed. He could make use of any invention or technology at this time.

“But, I think you need another.”

“You upgraded Jayden's shield?”

“Room.”

Alex recalled his room which was on the bottom floor of the secret facility. As Alex remembers, there was nothing special there. At the same time, Alex had no complaints. Anything that Emil upgrades will not come as a surprise. However, Alex got a hunch that was not the room the young man meant.

Alex guessed another room. “Exercise room?”

This time Emil nodded. “Not much. Just the program. I suck at robotics and mechanics. Jayden is much better. But you can't use it. Not at this time.”

“There is no time to practice.” Alex is well aware of their condition. If anything makes him feel guilty, other than talking badly to Emil, it's about training. He did not have enough time to rest and practice controlling Dragon Blood's new strength.

Emil nodded. “Dragon Aura's. Name of Jayden.”

Emil's words got Alex distracted. First, Jayden is now getting used to better names. Second, Jayden knew about his new abilities. “Jayden know? He knew that there would be such an aura from me?”

“Calculation professor Otto. Not missed. It's just..”

“What?”

“The appearance is much slower than expected.”

Alex rolled his eyeballs. What Emil says explains why the professor is so eager to push Alex to the limits of his abilities. The scientist was tormented by curiosity. He was so eager to know how Alex would be able to use his new powers. “So, you guys know I'm going to melt something?”
