Alex just sent me a quick answer if he likes it. Point. Alex was sure his father asked because he wanted to buy a statue or something. They have various statues, ornaments, and various decorations in the warehouse. The warehouse is a special building outside the main manor. Preston was given confidence in home decorating. He can replace any part after getting permission. Given that the husband and wife of the owner of the house is rarely at home, it is natural that the butler can get such a permit. While as a young master, Alex was indifferent to all the embellishments.
When Alex was about to forget about the horse, he found out how Willy was talking to Cody the next day. Not a real conversation. Willy considers Cody as the source of the latest game because his father has a good relationship with the game developer Nile App. Cody, on the other hand, definitely doesn't like Willy.
It's not the first time Alex has seen Willy pick up a game from the younger boy. Cody wasn't even showing it to his friends. Willy always knows when new games are released Nile App. He could guess exactly when Cody would take him to school to show friends. Sometimes, he even brought a hardcopy of the game to be shared.
Alex snorted amusedly while shaking his head.
Willy did not threaten Cody. Normally, the kid would give up the game without much resistance. Willy does not steal from him, he will return the game after being satisfied to try it with Alex and some other friends.
Willy turned around, finding Alex behind him. “Hey, check this out! Ah, try to get this game before the holidays!” yells. “We can try it at your house. This must be exciting. They tried to carry the concept of steampunk pirate!”
Alex steals a long look behind Willy. Cody immediately threw out a face, as if afraid to look at himself. Then, the boy rushed to leave the main lobby heading into the hallway towards his class.
Willy continued with passion. “You know? I heard the Nile App recruits a lot of people from their beta testers. I mean, that's a brilliant idea! They are not only looking for people who have cared about the company since the beginning but are also good at playing their games. I think that sort of equated the concept from the beginning!”
“Ya, it's interesting.” Alex has to admit.
“Hey, by the way, since the beginning of this semester I noticed your muscles are bigger. Frequently spend time in the gym?” guess Willy.
“Yups. PT.” Alex chuckles. He already has an answer. The PT or Personal Trainer will make much more sense than a joint exercise in a three-dimensional simulated reservoir, using a variety of weapons, and wrestling against a former free fighter like Tiger. Willy would never have believed that the same Tiger was their camp instructor last semester.
“Leta will be impressed.”
Willy sped up his path. Alex knows the cause. From the other side of the hallway, Leta walked towards him. The girl looked charming as usual. Her hair was draped on her back, sparkling under the sun. Before speaking, Alex could hear the girl's voice. If anyone can force Alex to take back his piano course, Leta is the right man.
“Hai!” Alex throws a smile first.
“Hai, Alex.” Leta walked right beside him. The girl no longer carries a bag like Alex. Maybe he had put it in class first and just walked around in the magnificent hallway of their school.
“There is an interesting there?” Alex glanced at the passageway Leta had been through.
“Some fans.”
Alex was silent for a moment. Thought guessed. A fan, not a park. Leta was talking about people not the scenery that was along the hall. It wasn't about the light of day. Something inside Alex is disturbed. Despite knowing what it was, Alex refuses to call it jealousy.
“Someone asks for your autograph?” guess Alex.
Leta. “Nobody asked for a schoolboy's signature. I'm not my father. Actually, he gave me something.”
“I assume you rejected it,” guess Alex again. So far, he hasn't seen Leta bring anything.
Leta gives one slow nod. “Not my type.”
“Too young?”
Alex knew that he shouldn't have continued the conversation. Unfortunately, his mind and lips seemed unwilling to cooperate. Subsequent questions glide smoothly without permission from the brain or heart. “So, what kind of type do you like? Someone with musical skills like your father?”
“Neg. Probably just someone who sees me as Leta.”
“I don't really understand the philosophy.”
“Look simply, someone who sees me without seeing my background.”
“Why?”
“Why?” Leta repeated Alex's question. “It's heavy. The life we live does not belong to our parents. What we go through should be our own decision. I don't want to live with anyone else. My dad would probably tell me to get down to the music industry, but the final decision is on me.”
Leta's words make Alex gawk.
Leta immediately giggled. “Not hate music. I liked. Really like. I just want to go through something I decided myself.”
“OK. That's why I understand.”
“How about you?”
Alex never likes it when questions are turned on him. “What?”
“Did your parents tell you to follow in their footsteps? For example, Alex, a famous businessman or Alex, a young actor making hysterical girls.”
“I prefer the second one,” replied Alex honestly. “But, no. I guess, I don't fit in living a lie in front of the camera.” This time, it doesn't sound honest. Alex made it easy to tell the lies in his life. He could keep his secret as a Zetta Sonic without the slightest difficulty.
“My sister also likes the second one. Very normal,” Leta said. “So, if you want to be an entrepreneur, will you go to a certain university?”
“Not yet to determine my first choice.” Alex puts his shoulders.
He used to think about it before meeting Jayden, Tiger, and the others. Not that he did not know which university he wanted to go to, he was not even sure if he could continue to live until he entered the university. He is fifteen years old. Everything can change in days, not years. For now, he won't bother about it.
“I'm going to Leberiel.”
Again, Alex gawked. Leberiel is in Regis. One of the countries that is famous for its art and culture. Leta doesn't need to say anything, Alex knows that he's determined the course of his life. Not to be happy, Alex must be honest to be envious.
“The weather is good there,” Alex said after they had been quiet for quite a while. Not only silence in speech but also dwell in place. Both of them had arrived before the wide-open door of the classroom.
“Not as good as here.”
Alex smiled amusedly. “We know it's a lie. The weather there is much better. The sun is bright, the air is warm, there are almost no storms. But, you'd rather be here, huh? With family?”
“Together everything. Family, friends, you.”
